I doubt his boss does much checking. And I'd be 90% confident in saying that he's connected with the Open Society Foundations. And yeah, I'd say the checks must be worthwhile. His fellow shenaniganist, Sonny Tufts, acknowledged that he is tax lawyer. I figure a tax lawyer must be paid at least halfway decent to spend his time on RPF.

I agree with most of that, but saying he is "big talker" sounds more like interpretation of facts than actual facts. He is certainly full of himself, but I would say any famous person's use of social media is not a bad thing. You are your own primary source press instead of the traditional media as a secondary source. The traditional media hates the competition. Look at some of Nixon's archives. He hated the press and made no bones about it. Nixon would have been in heaven if he had social media back then.

He got negged and became RPF's most negged repped member of all-time. He's still around because the mods went on a garbage strike and never came back!:radioactive::D

Two points: 1. "Government worker" is an oxymoron. 2. The government weed program should be called Dope for Dopes.

I know acptulsa was just kidding but I wanted to make a point about socialism. To me socialism/communism or whatever you want to call it, is far worse than other political stances like foreign policy for example. Bad foreign policy might lead to a loss of core rights (property) down the road, but socialism wipes out your core rights instantly. Besides that most other political stances are somewhat self regulating. An overly aggressive foreign policy or a "war on drugs" is not widely popular. Socialism, especially a progressive income tax, is inherently popular because the majority gets to steal from the minority.

I agree although I don't think it's fixed. I think the rules are just way too complicated and subjective. It was already bad and now with all these "safety" rules it has gotten even worse. I have a idea that I've never heard from anyone else. I'd like to see them slow the players down a tiny bit with equipment changes and then get rid of most of those stupid rules. Small reductions in speed mean big reductions in kinetic energy. One idea would be to force the players to wear a certain amount of pads, maybe by weight. Also they could experiment with slower playing surfaces and smaller cleats. What about helmets that are also padded on the outside? Not saying all those are good ideas but the generel thought is to slow the speed down just a little.

Zip had a crapload of green bars until he was taken out. So do his co-workers. People even make a point of saying they plus rep Zip.

I'm guessing most politicians sell themselves that way before they enter politics. The proverbial "outsider." And, you don't have to buy what someone like that is selling. Zip is making cash here selling the blue team, and a lot of people eat up what Zip says. Just like Dump.

But you sure cried to the mods when you lost your green bars. You even post deceptive threads about it. Why do you put "supporting member" in your profile?

I really don't know what you do about all this in the long run. All of this seems too abstract. Okay, the government is spying. What are you going to do about it? This is not exactly the same thing, but I say drill down to the details. If someone is messing with you, then you have to get down to the nitty gritty. If you can fuck their ass up good, then do it.. This website called TheNewspaper.com reports on all the cases of citizens destroying these cameras with ball bats, paint, etc. The only downside is that you, the taxpayer, just pay more. It's not like torching an individual's house, but the I think the response is measured. Hopefully, it sends some kind of message. I don't know. Here's the thread I made about people destroying cameras in Europe and Australia. There's even a few cases in the United States. http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?508496-European-citizens-destroy-and-disable-traffic-camera-tickets

Of course it's of consequence. Money is being wasted on privacy intrusion. The people who defend this attempting to use practical arguments that it works don't have a leg to stand on. Everyone is familiar with surveillance cameras, but how many are familiar with asset forfeiture that funds informants?

Yes, I know the definition of spying. I'm saying that people are wowed with all this technology. They claim we need it on a practical level because it works. I am saying it does not work. Randomness doesn't work. You don't get up, work for an hour, go back home and take a shower, go back to work for an hour, go back home to eat, etc. etc. There is a pattern and rhythm to life and the randomness of spying does not work. That is why I made the comment about snitches being the main and almost sole reason people get turned in. Turn off the imbecilic tee vee already.

This is a little off topic but is that all people do in DC is protest? I rarely ever see a single group protesting yet in DC it seems they're all over the place. Just in that one incident there were at least 3 groups of protesters.

Using paid informants is not the same as some technology that randomly taps your phone.
