Oh don't dismiss this so easily. I can very easily see that happening. And while we all are aware of the faults of NRA, dissolving on leftist's terms will benefit them, leftist's, before it will benefit us.

Reminds me of Trump's FEMA alert to all privately owned cell-phones. Key words: Until, for the moment. Tyranny does not happen all of a sudden, otherwise there would be rebellion. It requires "desensitizing" the people over time.

August 6, 2020 The state of Virginia has released a smartphone app to automatically notify those who might have been exposed to coronavirus, becoming the first state in the union to use a pandemic technology produced by Apple and Google. State officials say their app won’t function properly outside of Virginia until coordinating agencies create a national server. For the moment, there are no federal plans to create a nationwide app. Virginia’s app is called Covidwise. State officials launched a campaign urging residents to download it. “Now, I want you all to listen to this very closely. I want to be clear, this app, Covidwise, does not — I will repeat that — does not track or store your personal information. It does not track you at all,” Virginia Governor Ralph Northam said at a news conference.

RonPaulInstitute august 5, 2020 While America continues to fixate on the drama-filled reality show scripted by the powers-that-be, directed from the nation’s capital, and played out in high definition across the country, the American Police State has moved steadily forward. Nothing has changed.

RonPaulInstitute August 2, 2020 Wearing a mask at a store or other place where doing so is required of customers or visitors, or where there seems to be pressure either from the venue operators or the surrounding mask-wearers to do so, can be uncomfortable, even sickening. This can especially be the case for older and less healthy individuals for whom walking around while shopping can be a physical activity approaching or as strenuous as a younger, healthier person running a mile. The younger, healthier person can run a mile alright, but consider him trying to do so with his face and nose covered. He will surely run slower or be more exhausted in his masked mile run. In general, the older and less healthy a person is, the more he can expect wearing a mask to cause physical trouble. Yet, the reaction of one’s body to the imposing of a new impediment, in this case on breathing, can be surprising. People who can run a mile easily can also suffer physical problems from wearing a mask while going about their daily activities. And psychological harm from mask wearing can afflict people of all ages and physical fitness levels.

RonPaulInstitute august 5, 2020 People in New York City have been subjected to one of the most repressive coronavirus crackdowns in America. Included have been months-long forced closure of many businesses and extreme limitations placed on businesses that have been allowed to resume some operations during incremental scaling back of closure orders. Such government actions have decimated businesses in the city. A Sunday report by Lauren Thomas at CNBC illustrates the continuing economic destruction by describing vacancies and bankruptcies, along with a large drop in rents sought, in 16 major retail corridors of the Manhattan borough of the city. The plummeting economy has come hand-in-hand with plummeting respect for liberty, with people in New York City having been prohibited from doing many of the things, in addition to operating or working at businesses, that people have long considered basic to living — doing daily activities outside home without wearing a mask, attending religious services, meeting friends at a bar for a beer, and taking children to a playground, for example.

August 5, 2020 There is no question that Anthony Fauci has a major conflict of interest with Bill Gates. Fauci’s deliberate attack on hydroxychloroquine is relegating people to die. Banning the drug and directing pharmacies to intervene and deny doctors from prescribing it is unbelievable. Politics has NEVER interfered with the doctor-patient relationships — EVER! Fauci’s attack on a drug that has been approved for decades and is over the counter even in Iran and available to their people fighting COVID is unimaginable. Many people are coming out against Fauci and his deliberate campaign against this drug to support Bill Gates’ vaccines. The drug was first used in France with 3,100 people with great success. Something is seriously wrong! There should be a class-action lawsuit filed against Fauci to expose all of his conflicts of interest and taking over $100 million from Bill Gates for his agencies. He has rejected prior NIH studies of previous decades with no explanation. Something is just not right about how political this drug has become, and the benefactor of refusing this drug is to maintain the lockdowns, destroy the economy further, and line the pockets of Bill Gates and his vaccines.

August 6, 2020 What Happened: A recent study published in the Journal Medical Hypothesis titled “Exercise with facemask; Are we handling a devil’s sword? – A physiological hypothesis” claims the following: Exercising with facemasks may reduce available Oxygen and increase air trapping preventing substantial carbon dioxide exchange. The hypercapnic hypoxia may potentially increase acidic environment, cardiac overload, anaerobic metabolism and renal overload, which may substantially aggravate the underlying pathology of established chronic diseases. Further contrary to the earlier thought, no evidence exists to claim the facemasks during exercise offer additional protection from the droplet transfer of the virus. Hence, we recommend social distancing is better than facemasks during exercise and optimal utilization rather than exploitation of facemasks during exercise. According to the authors, exercising with facemasks induced as “a hypercapnic hypoxia environment . This acidic environment, both at the alveolar and blood vessels level, induces numerous physiological alterations when exercising with facemasks: 1) Metabolic shift; 2) cardiorespiratory stress; 3) excretory system altercations; 4) Immune mechanism; 5) Brain and nervous system.’

August 6, 2020 Long before Robert Redfield ascended to the CDC directorship, and also assumed a key post on the White House COVID Task Force, he was a US Army researcher working on an AIDS vaccine. He ran into a great deal of trouble. His career was almost derailed. The Army finally saved him, through what some investigators assert was a complete whitewash. On June 7th, 1994, two doctors from Public Citizen, Peter Lu and the relentless consumer advocate, Sidney Wolfe, wrote a long letter to Congressman Henry Waxman, chairman of the House Subcommittee on Health and the Environment. If Waxman had followed up with decisive action, Redfield might have been finished for good in the field of public health. Here are excerpts from the devastating letter:

I appreciate that you saw fit to give these things serious thought and write about them and, again, I'll give it all a read and get back to you. But I'll say again, expect a critical response, especially considering how liberally you throw in terms like apodictic. There's very little apodictic knowledge in the world and I'm, well, apodictically certain that none of it relates to any theory of ethics. Any argument that a particular ethical proposition is objectively true ultimately falls afoul of Hume.
