That is not atypical for an Indian name. You wouldn't believe some of the names I saw when working for a Tamil immigration lawyer. 40 characters in some of them.

I getcha but I don't think that is needed to explain this case. The big picture situation is that mass importation of foreign cultures creates widespread social stress. Due to the chaotic nature of such things, it was inevitable that the stress thus caused would result in some sort of blowback; the more stress, the more blowback. Voting for Trump's wall is how normal people expressed their blowback. Going on a crazy shooting spree is how this character did so. Given the amount of social stress caused by multiculturalism and the scale of it, that the range of natural variation in blowback response would include on its fringes extreme actors seems reasonable. Multiculturalism and identity politics have completely torn apart the social fabric of the country. Outlier types of responses like this one to such extreme social stress are all but inevitable, the only question is where and when it happens. Given that, if we accept the face value explanation as given by the alleged shooter - and there's no reason not to as it is coherent - the shooter was acting in direct response to the activities which radicalized him, i.e. the social stress brought on by multiculturalism, which was the very specific motive.

It's a Soros organization whose event last weekend appears to have triggered the shooter. https://www.hias.org/national-refugee-shabbat Mind you, this refugee stuff has absolutely zero support in the Torah, so they're hijacking the religion (and government funds) to promote mass third-world immigration that gets dumped on unsuspecting communities around the US. This is why I'm like meh about it. Feel like a bystander in late Weimar watching commies and brownshirts duke it out.

Nothing other than his age (46) and the existence of the Gab account (with little interaction with other users). 1k score on an yearlong active Gab account means reaching almost nobody. I have a Gab account about the same age that I use exclusively for sharing anime, with 25k points in about the same amount of time, and I wouldn't say the account is all that popular, I average less than 5 "points" (likes + retweets) per post.

They did that with Blasey-Ford and failed. The people are not listening to them anymore. It no longer matters what they do or say. Americans recognize them as the enemies they are now, and trust nothing.

You can read the Constitution and see that immigration is explicitly enumerated in the powers of Congress ("uniform rule of Naturalization"), and confirmed by implication. While one may argue at length as to whether naturalization was then considered to cover immigration also, the next section leaves no room for reasonable doubt that that is the case: No reason for this clause to exist unless post-1808 immigration could be prohibited by Congress afterwards, which in turn means that the enumerated power of naturalization also covers legal immigration (while the duty to protect against invasion covers the illegal kind).

What shocks me is that anyone could non-ironically make that charge on RPF and not realize how deeply it betrays their lack of independent thought and agency. No independent thinker thinks "racist" is a serious thing. It's an obvious rhetorical device for the purpose of shutting down a debate one is losing badly, and has no other purpose.

He called me racist for pointing out how many Ashkenazi are fake-Jew Communists. In his emotional fury he totally missed that I myself am an Ashkenazi Jew (and not self-hating). He called me racist against myself, that's how absurd he has gotten today. It's amazing how completely a person can lose all sense of reason when sufficiently emotionally charged.

The bill for the outrageous witch hunt of anyone who had anything neutral or positive to say about Trump has not been paid and is long past due. They broke pretty much every rule in the site terms, repeatedly, shamelessly, and maliciously - and were allowed to continue to do it for months on end, until everyone who was not on board with anarcho-communism was harassed off the site. Until action is taken against those who conducted and participated in it, this site cannot claim integrity.

That's a claim, not evidence. The FBI claimed. The FBI makes a lot of false claims, even swearing on them to a FISA court. Again, there is ZERO evidence in the public domain connecting Sayoc to these packages.

Sorry, if it's from ANY of the sources that collude together on Journ-o-list 2.0, or its equivalents, or who have been caught red-handed colluding with the Democratic Party to push propaganda in the past, then it's not "other" media. It's the same media. Same exact point of view, same exact info given, same exact narrative... it's one organization, no matter how many names it goes by.

zippybrain - try a news source that wasn't JUST caught red-handed withholding exculpatory evidence in the Kavanaugh case. Seriously, if everything traces to the credibility of known partisan propaganda outlets, that's extremely strong evidence to support the charge of a hoax.

The people who consider wealth inequality to be in and of itself immoral betray a lack of understanding that a basic quality of wealth is that to create it inherently creates inequality. That's also why trying to make everyone economically equal always results in a reduction of wealth for everyone. The only way to have equal wealth is for everyone to have nothing at all.

It gives every reason to suspect the van was either created for this hoax, or the patsy chosen for having such van. The whole point from the very start was to blame Trump, notice that that part started the very moment the story hit the wires. Just like the Blasey-Ford story... lurid details on the parts necessary to accuse the target... but none of the supporting details necessary to paint a full picture. Right now at this time there is zero public evidence to connect Sayoc (or whatever his name really is) to the packages. He was also previously known not only to FBI but to CIA as well.

I looked at those hours ago. They are clearly automated and not human. Blatant "tell" is that the person posted on two separate social media accounts for most of a year with ZERO interaction from anyone else. No comments. No likes. No retweets. Who would use social media after getting zero interaction for months?

You assume to much. There is zero evidence in the public domain connecting Sayoc to these packages. The question is not only still open, but even more open as new details reveal many new inconsistencies in the official story.

The Dems did this to themselves. It's a hoax. Not a guy in a camper. Many ways to show this is the case. Take for example that the devices were guaranteed not to explode, and were clearly made for the purpose of being photographed (a clock attached makes no sense, a clock with no alarm makes even less sense OTHER THAN for display purposes), plus no message or note. Both CNN and Soros personnel handled these devices after they were exposed as devices, indicating that both parties knew it was not a real bomb. These facts taken together are not consistent with any scenario but a Dem-run hoax.

I strongly doubt that even among libertarians there was ever any higher than 10-15% support for unlimited third world immigration. When libertarians talk about open borders, traditionally that has meant the free flow of trade, including tourism. Unlimited immigration has never been part of any serious libertarian conversation.

It's because the obvious "target" of this stunt is not any Democrat; but rather the media audience. Those "bombs" were not bombs at all and could not have harmed anyone. But they looked great for the cameras, and show unmistakable indications of being manufactured specifically for media coverage, the clock with no alarm being but one of the items that convicts on this point. The folks who have been repeatedly making hoax claims against political opponents, so often that it can fairly be called standard practice, are the primary suspects. It would not be shocking to find that it did indeed come from the famously incompetent DWS, who obviously wouldn't be acting on her own. Given that the whole point of the hoax was to put these scary-looking fake bombs in front of a media audience, they HAD to publish the photos. It was the very reason those devices were created, to create those photos, this is beyond reasonable dispute.

Ron isn't even relevant any more. Seeing people who were reliably opposed to his policies all along invoke him here is nauseating. "Dr. No" voted against almost all government spending. One of the very few things he voted to spend money on was border security. So people who are opposed to all border security invoking Ron's name aren't fooling anyone. You're invoking Ron because you're out of arguments.

They should mow down every single person who illegally crosses the border. The least harm long term solution is if all of Central America understands that attempting to storm the US border is CERTAIN DEATH. The ONLY reason they are trying this crap now is that they know for sure they will be treated with kid gloves and be able, for at least a time, to live rich off the US welfare state.

"Army" is a hell of a lot more accurate, English language dictionary definition wise, than "caravan" which is grossly misleading. That is not a "caravan". You hear "caravan" and you expect elephants and clowns and trinkets for sale, not a horde of military-aged, empty-handed men.
