Why create a government with no means in place for funding it? Especially if a major function of it is for common security? What if a few minutes after putting the Constitution together, every stopped and said "He waitaminute, Taxation is theft." and then an unfunded government fizzled out. As for the justness of Taxing people, the people deserve a say in it through their Representatives and it should not be either to high or squandered.

Could it be this confuse the body's metabolic response to food? Or even release Insulin when it shouldn't in response to eating sweets regardless of the calories?

What if smart people have better things to do and actively avoid attention seeking news crews like this?

Strangely, I think it should somewhat be the job of media and journalism to do more of this legwork, just because as you say people are to busy. So I find it kind of ironic that so-called Journalists like Watters instead use their knowledge to mock people. Most people should be able to listen to different sides of arguments, get info from the media, maybe fact check on Google, then go back to the skill building required of their careers. We shouldn't have to become our own journalists (Though it is great that some do just because they have that passion for following politics).

I could have offered only a vague description, especially standing there in front of a camera crew with a microphone in my face. You could even go really simple and ask what is a Republic? What is a Democracy? Uhh.... the right to vote I guess? When I was taking college courses my very strong focus was Computer IT Stuff, especially if close to Mid-Term or Final Exams. Just because I was in college didn't mean I was taking on a wealth of political knowledge from my instructors. I mean I did follow politics on my own. I might watch a debate, consider who made the most sense, but then dive deep back into the college course work cramming computer hardware repair, printers, and networking.

The whole encounter is kind of unfair. On on hand you have a Journalist who's life is consumed with following news confronting people barely prepared to be interviewed and are not professional news people. Plus just having a news camera pointed at you is hugely distracting. Also, I think about how honestly I could not really debate politics on the spot. At least not very well. I might follow debates and even fact check before decided on the best of a selection of candidates. Afterward, I move on focusing on my non-political life, so such facts are not fresh in my memory. I do like to think I could describe a view of Socialism, but I could easily see fumbling it or being vague.

It seems like literally every Man On The Street interview I've ever seen succeeds in making people look like ignorant idiots. It can make for amusing TV, but I'm not sure these should ever be taken seriously.

Does the presence of both Hollywood and more recently Silicon Valley greatly distort the market?

I'm working as a Truck Driver. I have some stuff stored at my parents' place, but I basically live free from Rent or a House payment. I get my mail from a rented Private Mailbox. I guess this is one option for people who can't afford a home and are fed up. Hop into transportation. Go Maritime and live on a ship or hit the highway like me and live in a truck. I really don't like living this way, but it's what I came up with for a job.

Automated Workforce plus Nano-Fabricator(Ultimate 3D Printer or Personal Factory) Humanity achieves a situation where most needs take care of themselves through automation or robotics. Some assume most humans will just assume a state of Sloth, but I think many when free of their jobs will be able to go after more personal and creative or artistic pursuits. If this were achieved, I'm not sure an escape to a Libertarian zone would be necessary.

Bernie Sanders seems to be a big fan of Scandinavia health care plans involving socialist plans. Do these work? Or not work? Or is Sanders misrepresenting how they actually work?

Not sure I follow, but if I had access to wealth resources with an interest in helping the average person, maybe create a system with technology and a startup fund to do algorithmic stock trading that generates extra income for lower class working people. As for a place Libertarians could run off to start independent communities, I'm not sure what is available unless you want to create new space with some SeaSteading scheme while harvesting or creating a resource to sell and trade with other countries so that you have an economy. Or you could offer technical services like Amazon AWS Servers. Or create virtual hangouts in the DarkWeb where you feel sure you can speak freely with like minded people.

Just saying an understanding of how seemingly normal people can become radicalized, or even if the reverse can happen. If such people can break from their insane beliefs, they might be interesting for propaganda purposes against Al Qaeda types seeing one of their own publicly say they were wrong or what they did was wrong.

The message is not that business are really looking for the skilled American Worker in most cases. It's the message they give to the media as their excuse for automating or moving to Mexico or China. Probably feeling this is how best to streamline the company while serving their stockholders. After a point, the last thing they want is lots of legit qualified candidates showing up and confusing the plans already laid out to shrink the company. To be fair, I don't think most companies are like this, but enough are to send confusing messages to Americans who actually do want to train up either to work manufacturing or attending these Code Bootcamps thinking they can crank out Javascript all day.

Doesn't almost every major industry claim to have a shortage of workers? We don't have enough Doctors. We don't have enough STEM skilled workers. We can't get people to learn Computer Programming. Or we can't get people to work 'Dirty' Trade Jobs which is Mike Rowe's niche issue. I think a lot of it is bullshit and sending confusing messages to eager people who waste a lot of time and money on education or training and get turned away due to lack of experience. The shortage I think does exist is skilled professionals or trades workers with high proficiency in their skills. What is missing are enough junior level or mid level positions open for people to start at. Finally, employers have created this job market with high demands for experience, yet none of them want to wind up being the ones who provide training to a candidate who then leaves after getting that experience. It's a mess they're not dealing with so they whine to pundits saying Colleges are not turning out quality candidates. Meanwhile many people graduate from college and wind up in shitty retail jobs with crippling student loans.
