Another Step toward Sovietization of American Media This week the US Department of Justice Criminal Division forced ... RT to register as a “foreign agent” ... The move comes on the heels of Senators’ recent demands that terrified tech giants Twitter, Facebook, and Google act as ideological filters. ... more ominous is what the move against RT says about America’s rulers’ further intention to limit the sources of information available to its subjects. ... The attack on RT is a milestone in the degeneration of the American official (call them what you want – corporate, legacy, mainstream) media into PR agencies for the governing establishment and its ideological imperatives. We’ve been moving along this path for a while now, and it’s going to get worse. ... By its attack on RT, the US government is officially telling us that only the mainstream media (MSM) can be regarded as are purveyors of Truth and that anybody not on the approved list is fake. How do we know? Why, the MSM themselves tell us! The Washington Post’s “Democracy Dies in Darkness.” CNN’s “Facts First.” The New York Times’ “The Truth is Hard.” ...

I'm tired of being one of the lone nuts on the fringe screaming warnings and dire predictions and grim forecasts. I wanna jump on the team and come on in for the big win, just once in my life.

How do you know for sure the allegations are fake? I think they probably are, but you make it sound like an absolute fact. Moore should take them to court for libel. Do you think the "groping photo" was a criminal act? Personally I don't think sexual harassment should be crime. Only sexual assault. I don't think either Moore or Franken should be removed from office, it should be up to the voters. Do you think Franken should be charged with a crime or removed from office?

Moscow has accused the Netherlands of seizing gold artifacts claimed by the Kremlin following Russia's annexation of Crimea in 2014. A collection of gold that dates back to the Scythian era in the fourth century B.C. was on display in Amsterdam when Moscow invaded Crimea and annexed it from Ukraine almost three years ago. A Dutch court ruled last year that Ukraine was the rightful owner of the ancient treasure and it should not be returned to the territory while it is occupied by Russia. Moscow, meanwhile, claims that as Crimea is part of Russia, the artifacts should be returned. More at:

Something flew over the west coast in late October, that much we know. But the mystery plane disappeared before anyone could figure out what it was and has defied all attempts at identification since. Was it a classified U.S. government aircraft, a flying saucer, or something else? The War Zone reports that in the afternoon of October 25, air traffic controllers started querying commercial airline pilots flying between Portland and Seattle, asking if they could help identify a mystery object. The object in question didn’t have a traffic collision avoidance system (TCAS) transponder turned on, was not responding to radio communication, and, most intriguingly, could not be picked up on radar. Numerous pilots reported they saw the aircraft, but none came close enough to identify it. Ultimately, Oregon Air National Guard F-15 fighters from Portland International Airport were sent up to investigate, but saw nothing. The War Zone article also cites two Reddit users familiar with the incident and who seem to corroborate much of what the air traffic controller audio has to say. The aircraft was near Crater Lake, Oregon when air traffic controllers started asking nearby pilots about it. The aircraft was described as a white object flying north between 35,000 and 40,000 feet. At one point in the air traffic controller audio clip, one pilot says the mystery bird is 12 to 15 miles away, and distances from other aircraft ranged from four to 20 miles. Another pilot, observing the aircraft, estimates an airspeed of 370 knots, or 425 miles an hour on the ground, also noting he is not getting a TCAS transponder signal. What was it? More at:

Robert Mugabe was spotted at a graduation ceremony on Friday despite being under house arrest in the wake of the military coup in Zimbabwe. Mr Mugabe has been ordered to resign or face impeachment, however, the 93-year-old has refused to back down amid the threats. Doctor Brilliant Mhlanga, an academic at the University of Hertfordshire, warned of a possible civil conflict as Mr Mugabe clings on to power. He told talkRADIO: “The situation is still very tense and very dangerous. In fact, I should highlight that this is a coup, by the way. “If this government continues the way it is there is the possibility of a kind of civil conflict,” he said. “There may be some need for the military to intervene and it is still a very big possibility.” Doctor Mhlanga said surrounding countries, such as Angola and Namibia, could be keen to join in any military action in Zimbabwe.

“The wolf shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the young goat, and the calf and the lion and the fattened calf together; and a little child shall lead them. The cow and the bear shall graze; their young shall lie down together; and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.

They shall not hurt or destroy in all my holy mountain; for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.”
