The truth is sometimes offensive, and always so when it robs the status quo of power. "Free Speech and the ability to tolerate offense are the hallmarks of a free and open society."

Try something a bit more fun here. Post trailers to upcoming movies that you might be interested. Anything goes, so it can be ANY movie! Yes, even giant shitfests, comedies, sequels, another knockoff idea, reboot, unoriginal garbage, or even something thats unique and truly interesting! Maybe even a Documentary? Okay, I liked the original. So I am interested in seeing the sequel, even if I only watch it at home... Super Troopers 2: Official Red Band Trailer So post a Movie Trailer to something you might be interested in watching!

Walmart (Sam Walton) and Bezos (Amazon) both get Federal Subsidies indirectly. Those low low prices you get are done so by employee exploitation. How many at Walmart do you know that work FULL TIME? They dont. Amazon? Almost exclusively Temp Labor that is hired by Integrity Staffing, who is owned by Amazon, but shields Amazon from lawsuits. The Federal assistance they get comes from Welfare, that the people get when they dont earn enough money to make ends meet. How bout Medicaid? Neither of those companies offer most of their employees insurance. A few get insurance, but most do not. Especially not the temp labor. Now, the one thing that eludes most people is how this is paid for. We always hear that "we" have to pay for this, but Ive never gotten a bill for someone elses welfare or medicaid. And heres the TRICK. We all pay for it, thru the Hidden Tax of Inflation. Govt "just borrows" the money into existence to pay its bills while looking like the "good guy" because no ones taxes go up. We're still paying for it, and its that price manipulation thru the inflation of money that made the Koch brothers their riches. Microsoft did get started by making a product. Thing is, when Bill Gates originally made his sales pitch to sell DOS, he did NOT have legal rights to DOS. He bought it off a guy with the money he made thru that first sales pitch. After that, their business practices have been nothing but anti competitive. Dont get me wrong, the diversity of Windows has allowed some great achievements in the tech field, but they have had some stumbling blocks as well. I like Windows 7, but can not stand the spyware heavy Windows 10 always online know everything you do horseshit. Im sure that Bill Gates never used his money to influence votes, or even have a personal army of Lobbyists ready to twist the arms of every politician in the District of Criminals, a.k.a. Washington D.C. for those that didnt get that part of the joke. Seriously dude, usually youre way more aware than this. I really expected you to have taken a much more libertarian attitude. What is up with this new Zippy level of monopoly worship, or are you playing my game of Devils Advocate? (to which I do admit that I occasionally do...) -----

Conservative House members say they got a promise from leadership to pursue a separate hard-line Republican-only immigration bill in exchange for their votes to pass government funding Thursday night -- a measure that several Republicans doubt could pass the House, let alone the Senate. The bill is a proposal from key committee and subcommittee chairs Bob Goodlatte, Raul Labrador, Mike McCaul and Martha McSally that includes a large number of hard-line immigration provisions that Democrats and some Republicans have said are nonstarters. Labrador told CNN after votes Thursday that the commitment to members of the House Freedom Caucus was "to actually whip (the bill) and to work on it like they did on all the other important bills we've done this year." While there was no clear timeline for a floor vote, Labrador said that "should" be the goal. "if people want to vote against it, they can explain to their constituents why they're voting against a bill like this," Labrador said. The immigration bill includes a number of controversial pieces, including mandatory worker verification, cracking down on sanctuary cities, changing asylum thresholds and cutting legal immigration to the US by 25%. The bill offers Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals recipients indefinitely renewable three-year work permits but no pathway to citizenship. California lawmakers are targeting the expected windfall that companies in the state would see under the federal tax overhaul with a bill that would require businesses to turn over half to the state. A proposed Assembly Constitutional Amendment by Assemblymen Kevin McCarty, D-Sacramento, and Phil Ting, D-San Francisco, would create a tax surcharge on California companies making more than $1 million so that half of their federal tax cut would instead go to programs that benefit low-income and middle-class families. Russia's foreign ministry on Thursday accused U.S. officials of leaking to the media confidential financial details of Russian diplomats working in the United States, and demanded that those responsible be punished.U.S. media outlet Buzzfeed reported this week that U.S. officials investigating allegations of Kremlin interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election were studying records of financial transactions involving Russian diplomats. Buzzfeed cited details of several bank transfers. "It's obvious that this could not have happened without the knowledge of the authorities of that country (the United States)," the Russian foreign ministry said in a statement. "In other words, this intrusion on the sanctity of the accounts of the embassy and its staff, who have diplomatic immunity, is the work of Washington officialdom." Exactly. M.A.D.D. operates the same way as the rest of Crony Capitalism; manipulating and distorting numbers to put bias on where you want to shift blame. Its no different than a guy who chokes to death swallowing a whole piece of carrot that becomes lodged in his windpipe and blaming the death on tobacco because he is a smoker. Manipulate the statistics to say what you want them to say. Same way as Unemployment came down, same way as we have a Balanced Budget, same way as Tobacco is the #1 killer, same way as Global Warming, same way as money doesnt ever seem to go as far as it used to (because it dont) and same way they rationalize every single shred of individuality to bring us fully under their control grid. Members of the U.S. House of Representatives could no longer use public funds for awards or settlements in sexual harassment cases under bipartisan legislation unveiled on Thursday that updates a 20-year law governing the rights of congressional employees.Leaders from both parties, including Speaker Paul Ryan, the most powerful lawmaker in the chamber, support the bill, indicating it should pass quickly and easily in a Congress frequently frozen by partisan standoffs. Reinforcing its strong connection with social conservatives, the Trump administration announced Thursday a new federal office to protect medical providers refusing to participate in abortion, assisted suicide or other procedures on moral or religious grounds.Leading Democrats and LGBT groups immediately denounced the move, saying "conscience protections" could become a license to discriminate, particularly against gay and transgender people. The announcement by the Department of Health and Human Services came a day ahead of the annual march on Washington by abortion opponents, who will be addressed via video link by President Donald Trump. HHS put on a formal event in the department's Great Hall, with Republican lawmakers and activists for conscience protections as invited speakers. The religious and conscience division will be part of the HHS Office for Civil Rights, which enforces federal anti-discrimination and privacy laws. Officials said it will focus on upholding protections already part of federal law. Violations can result in a service provider losing government funding. No new efforts to expand such protections were announced, but activists on both sides expect the administration will try to broaden them in the future. Russian MPs are expected within weeks to submit a new draft law regulating private military companies. A global market exists for mercenary fighters and some argue Russia is missing out by trapping citizens in a legal minefield. Private military companies (PMCs) are the modern-day incarnation of what used to be known as ‘Wild Geese’ – professional soldiers ready to prop up a regular fighting force for payment. As national governments rose in power, the use of hired guns went into relative decline as they were pushed to the sidelines – both legally and geographically. Because the common wisdom of the 20th century held that waging wars was a job for nation states, adventurers were tolerated only in places such as Sierra Leone or Libya. Then came the end of the Cold War. The downsizing of standing armies left a large pool of people with fighting skills idle while the breakdown of the bipolar world order, with its checks and balances, simultaneously created a larger market for their services. And after 9/11 mercenaries found themselves more in demand, as the US government was more than willing to outsource an increasing number of duties previously reserved for regular troops. Conveniently, these auxiliary hires aren’t counted in Washington's official war casualty statistics. Today, PMCs are paid for services ranging from guarding freighter ships from pirates and catching traffickers at borders to clearing minefields and training troops belonging to more-or-less legitimate authorities. They can also be found fighting battles – just like the fabled companies of Swiss landsknechts did in the Renaissance – although this part of the gray area in which modern mercenaries operate is a bit too close to practices still officially condemned. Russia has lagged behind many of its Western partners in taking a prominent place in the PMC service market, even though the country generates its share of recruits. This may be due to Moscow’s general suspicion of the post-1991 global security architecture or the inherent potential ‘loose cannon’ aspect of private soldiers. Whatever the real reasons, hiring and training mercenaries, as well as operating as one, is a criminal offence in Russia. Nevertheless, the latter rule is lightly enforced with the first (and apparently only) case to end in a conviction happening in 2014. More at: https://www.rt.com/news/416194-russia-pmc-draft-bill/

Got handwriting samples for Paul? The Books of Enoch have been kept since early times. (I would love to see lead tablets found when it is time) The Ethiopian bible retains the books. The great effort to stifle is often a clue of what someone wants hidden.. What does it hurt to read?

Cape Town, South Africa is on schedule to run out of water in less than 95 days, and when they do, the government will turn off the taps. “There are only 95 days left before we reach Day Zero,” the City of Cape Town announced on January 15 in a statement. “Day Zero has moved a day closer this week to April 21, 2018. Day Zero is when the City will be forced to turn off most of the taps.” The coastal South African city has been battling droughts for nearly three years, amounting to the worst one in their history. With little rain on the horizon, the city has now ordered its 3.7 million residents to drastically cut their water consumption, take short stop-start showers, not wash their cars, and flush toilets as little as possible. If they don’t, all of their taps could be shut off by the government in April. The city doesn’t appear to have any plan in place for such a SHTF event. But if the government cannot find a solution to the problem, Capetonians will be forced into “bread lines” for water. As if that isn’t scary enough, city residents will have a limit of 5.5 gallons of water a day that will only be given to them at specific government outposts around the city. Cape Town’s mayor Patricia de Lille‏ tweeted: “I cannot stress it enough: all residents must save water and use less than 87 liters per day… We must avoid Day Zero and saving water is the only way we can do this.” Not missing the opportunity to levy extra taxes on the populace, the city mayor has also impeded a “drought charge” in order to fund new water projects, such as constructing desalination plants.
