It has been almost a year since the government began sending asylum seekers back to Mexico and only 11 people have been granted asylum. That accounts for a grant rate of less than one percent... Over the last year, in the name of national security, those changes have made it increasingly difficult for migrants to win asylum cases in the U.S. The latest change has effectively made the majority of non-Mexican migrants ineligible for asylum, according to lawyers and activists. One policy in particular, called Migrant Protection Protocols or Remain in Mexico, has made it nearly impossible for migrants to receive asylum. Data shows that as of September, of the more than 47,000 people in the program, fewer than 10,000 had completed their cases. Of that group, 5,085 cases were denied while 4,471 cases were dismissed without a decision being made — mostly on procedural grounds. Only 11 cases — or 0.1 percent of all completed cases — resulted in asylum being granted, according to the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse at Syracuse University. The Justice Department’s report on the FBI’s Crossfire Hurricane probe is the first official account of sources relied on by Christopher Steele to write a dossier that damaged President Trump, energized the FBI and ultimately proved to be untrue. The Justice Department inspector general’s report shows that an anonymous phone call with a Steele source provided the unverified conspiracy theory to trigger a Trump campaign wiretap. Mr. Steele talked to the FBI but refused to reveal his murky network. But the FBI was able to locate his “primary sub-source.” After interviewing the Moscow-based person three times in 2017, the results “raised significant questions about the reliability of the Steele election reporting,” the IG report said. The primary source told the FBI that what he conveyed to Mr. Steele “was just talk.” He never knew for sure the identity of one call-in source who became instrumental in Mr. Steele’s dossier. That contact is described by the IG as sub-source Person 1 and by Mr. Steele in his dossier as “Source E.” In a 20-minute phone call with the primary source, Person 1 provided the critical allegations — a Russia-Trump conspiracy — that persuaded the FBI to seek a year’s worth of wiretaps on Trump campaign volunteer Carter Page. Mr. Steele later would describe Person 1 as a “boaster.” The IG described Source E as running a Russia-U.S. organization in the United States at the time. Glenn Simpson, co-founder of Fusion GPS, handled Mr. Steele and gave Source E’s identity to a Justice Department official. Even after hearing the primary source’s contradictions with Mr. Steele’s account, the FBI never amended its wiretap warrants to convince a judge that Mr. Page was an agent of Russia, the IG said. Mr. Page was exonerated by special counsel Robert Mueller’s report.

Sen. Rand Paul, Kentucky Republican, said Sunday he worried that the Democratic effort to impeach President Trump would “dumb down and destroy the country.” He characterized the push to remove Mr. Trump from office as a “disagreement over policy” led by Democrats who “don’t like President Trump, they don’t like his demeanor, so they’ve decided to sort of criminalize politics.” “But I don’t think it’s a good thing,” he said on CNN’s “State of the Union.” “I don’t think it’s a good day for the country. I think it’s a sad day because I hope it doesn’t devolve into that every president like in different parts of Latin America where we either impeach or throw presidents in jail because we don’t like their politics. I think that will really dumb down and destroy the country.” Asked if he could carry out “impartial justice” in the Senate, as required in the impeachment oath, Mr. Paul said, “I would say that my oath is to the Constitution.” “We’ve seen the evidence, we’re going to hear the evidence repeated, but we’re not going to see any new evidence,” Mr. Paul said. “I think all of America has seen this. What we’ve found is that this is a very partisan exercise.” More at: https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2019/dec/15/rand-paul-fears-donald-trump-impeachment-will-dumb/

The government of the Canadian province of Québec is considering allowing doctors to euthanize people suffering from Alzheimer's, dementia, and other disease where the patient is unable to provide their consent. According to LifeSiteNews, a Canadian health minister, Danielle McCann, said at a press conference earlier this month that the recommendation to allow the practice of euthanizing patients without their consent came from an "expert panel" that spent 18 months studying the issue. However, McCann says that Québec will launch its own non-partisan public consultation process before deciding whether to allow the practice. "We have heard the the heartfelt appeal of Quebecers who are suffering and calling for a widening of the rules," McCann said, the Montreal Gazette reported. "Québec society is evolving on this sensitive issue and we have a moral duty to respond. all together." More at: https://www.theblaze.com/news/canada_patients_euthanasia

NH is roughly six times the population of St. Paul. It is 96% white. The whole state had 21 murders for the whole year of 2018. But we're not "diverse" enough. White people, do something.

A few short days after former psychologists at the NHS's flagship Gender Identity Development Service (GIDS) told Sky News they feared young people were "being over-diagnosed and then over-medicalised," warning that: "We fear that we have had front-row seats to a medical scandal." The Daily Mail reports that Australian doctors, writing in the Journal Of Autism And Developmental Disorders, stated that "The few studies employing diagnostic criteria for ASD suggest a prevalence of 6-26 per cent in transgender populations." Notably, they added, that this was "higher than the general population, but no different from individuals attending psychiatric clinics." The Australians also quoted 'definitive findings' from a US study of almost 300,000 children, which discovered those with autism "were over four times as likely to be diagnosed with gender dysphoria" compared to those without autism. Last year The Mail on Sunday unearthed an internal study by GIDS in London, also known as the Tavistock Clinic, which found 35 per cent of children and teenagers referred there between 2011 and 2017 had "moderate to severe autistic traits." A recent study published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine found that 80 percent of gender minority students report having mental health problems, nearly double the rate of “cisgender” students.

Chinese criminals have been flying drones onto farms and infecting perfectly healthy pigs with African swine fever, lowballing the farmer for their sick pigs, and then selling the tainted meat as healthy, according to SCMP, citing China Comment - a magazine affiliated with state news agency Xinhua. In some cases, the gangs have spread rumors about the virus which is not deadly to humans - but causes hemorrhagic fever in pigs which is almost always fatal. Sometimes they spread rumours about the disease spreading in the locality and may even leave dead pigs on the side of a road to make farmers believe the infection is spreading. -SCMP In more extreme cases, however, the gangs use drones to drop infected items into the farms. "One of our branches once spotted drones air dropping unknown objects into our piggery, and later inspection found virus in those things," said one farm manager. Once the sick pigs have been acquired by the gang, they are then smuggled to other areas with sky-high pork prices, violating a ban on transporting pork or livestock between provinces, and sold for a profit as high as $143 per pig.

Democrats insist that Voter ID is voter suppression, not having a polling place every 4 feet is voter suppression, and black voter outreach? You betcha that's voter suppression. Yet some Democrats are concerned. While Trump is unlikely to receive substantial black support, they worry his outreach could dissuade African Americans from turning out in force for the Democratic candidate. For some Democrats, the prospect brings back nightmares of 2016, when Hillary Clinton failed to turn out voters in heavily black Detroit, paving the way for Trump’s upset victory in Michigan. “The end goal is to create doubt in the minds of black voters, doubt about the Democratic Party and doubts about the Democratic nominee,” said Adrianne Shropshire, executive director of Black PAC, a super PAC aimed at mobilizing black voters. “It really is about suppressing the black vote more than it is about bringing black voters out to support Trump.” If you're following the logic here... 1. Trump is trying to pick up black voters 2. This will divert black votes from Democrats 3. Anything that diverts black votes from Democrats is voter suppression Just so we're clear that this is now the official definition of voter suppression. The Democrat failure to suppress black voters is defined as voter suppression.

A powerful magnitude 6.9 earthquake in southern Philippines killed at least one person Sunday and caused the collapse of a three-story building, sparking a desperate effort to reach an unknown number of people who may have been trapped inside, officials said. The temblor sent holiday shoppers fleeing from malls in a panic, with people evacuating homes and other buildings as well, according to reports. An election integrity watchdog has found 24,000 instances of irregularities among the voter rolls in Palm Beach County, Fla., according to a new report. The Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF), a group that litigates to protect election integrity, discovered double voting by the same registrants, double registrants across state lines, deceased voters on rolls, and apparent noncitizens previously registered to vote in Palm Beach County following a three-month investigation involving office visits, records inspections, and voter roll audits. "Concerns ranged from apparent clerical errors memorialized in voter records to evidence of dead and double voting," PILF's report states. "Seemingly unlawful claims of business and government addresses were also found used as residential ones. Some individuals (unwillingly or otherwise) even demonstrated an ability to register multiple times under the same name, address, and date of birth thanks to human or computer system errors between the county elections office and Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles personnel. Perhaps most alarming of all, apparent noncitizens were documented registering to vote in Palm Beach County—sometimes while admitting their immigration status on voter applications." The group ultimately discovered 225 instances of double voting by the same registrant in 2016 and/or 2018; 20,479 double registrations across state lines; 68 uses of nonresidential addresses as county residences; 2,203 deceased voters on the voter roll; 139 instances of records of deceased voters casting ballots; 413 names appearing more than once on the county's voter roll; and 68 apparent noncitizens previously registered to vote for a total average length of seven years. The city of Detroit has been hit with a lawsuit alleging numerous voter registration irregularities including thousands of dead people on its voter rolls, according to a complaint. The Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF), an Indiana-based group that litigates to protect election integrity, filed the complaint Wednesday to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. Janice Winfrey, Detroit's city clerk, and George Azzouz, Detroit's director of elections, are named as defendants. The suit alleges that Detroit's voter rolls contain more than 2,500 deceased individuals, nearly 5,000 voters who appear more than once, and 511,786 registered voters in the city where only 479,267 individuals are eligible to vote. The lawsuit comes less than one year out from the 2020 elections in a state that President Donald Trump carried by just 10,704 votes over Hillary Clinton. Past reports showed voter machine irregularities in the city when 37 percent of its precincts in 2016 registered more votes than the number of voters tallied in polling stations. The city of Detroit was overwhelmingly carried by Clinton. More at: https://freebeacon.com/issues/detroit-sued-over-voter-roll-irregularities-including-thousands-of-deceased-registered-to-vote/

“I have no doubt that it is a part of the destiny of the human race, in its gradual improvement, to leave off eating animals, as surely as the savage tribes have left off eating each other.”
