It looked more like Mumbai than the White Mountains of New Hampshire over Columbus Day weekend last month.
Record crowds turned up to hike to the best spots to view New Hampshire's famous fall foliage. What stood out about these record crowds, though, was not only how foreign they were, but how many hailed from the Indian subcontinent.
Predictably, record amounts of garbage littered the trails once the “leaf-peepers” had finally cleared out.
New Hampshire's most popular trails were not just covered in various paper and plastic waste, but in soiled diapers and - can you guess?
