I've reached out to both town and county government to see about getting the ball rolling here in NH. Little more problematic here, as in most of New England, the county structure is very weak and the towns are where local political power resides and there are state level preemption laws in place for a number of things. Wish Kieth and Stuff still posted around here so I could ask him. Fuck...wish Shem Kellog was still alive for that matter.

I'm pretty sure the Bolshies have figured that out. They'll arrest a few of us refuseniks here and there, just to make a show of it and throw the book at them to make examples of them, to keep everybody else's head down. They'll wait as we die off, give it twenty, thirty years, maybe less given the attention span of Idiot AmeriKa and poof, mission accomplished. Guns, at least in citizens hands, will de facto be things of the past. If proactive measure are not taken now, secession and government level non compliance (2nd A "sanctuaries" with teeth), then it's game over.

Average Honduran IQ is 81. That used to be considered four points below "mentally retarded". They do not have the will, the culture or the brain power to fix what is broken in their nation. Their collective solution is to wheedle handouts from government, Jeebus or self loathing privileged Yanquis.

Most likely they milled about, smartly, for a week or two, then, once the hubbub died down, fanned out and quietly walked across the border in groups of twos and threes. I reckon most of them are in LA, and Phoenix and Albuquerque and San Antonio now. This wave of invaders is now up to 3500 strong and growing. Red Flag Nation: Anti-Gun Laws, Sanctuary Cities and the Second Amendment We never learn. In the right (or wrong) hands, benevolent plans can easily be put to malevolent purposes. Even the most well-intentioned government law or program can be—and has been—perverted, corrupted and used to advance illegitimate purposes once profit and power are added to the equation. The war on terror, the war on drugs, the war on illegal immigration, asset forfeiture schemes, road safety schemes, school safety schemes, eminent domain: all of these programs started out as legitimate responses to pressing concerns and have since become weapons of compliance and control in the police state’s hands.

I'm not trying to put the Virginia threads in here, but so many other states are jumping on this it needs a thread. Georgia Democrats now attempting to ban ALL semi-automatic firearms, including self-defense pistols and rifles, as anti-gun mental illness spreads For weeks we have been reporting on Virginia Democrats’ plans to implement a bevy of new gun control measures when they take over all lawmaking branches of their government this month. But Democrats elsewhere are interested in further eroding the Second Amendment as well, including in Georgia. As reported by The Truth About Guns, state Sen. Donzella James has filed SB 281, which would “prohibit the possession of automatic and semi-automatic guns,” regardless of make, model or the fact that these weapons are used so infrequently to commit crimes it is nearly statistically insignificant.

A new paper suggests that the agency broke U.S. environmental law in its approval of the satellites and that if it were to be sued in court, it would likely lose Trails of reflected light from dozens of recently launched Starlink satellites obscure an image of the NGC 5353/4 galaxy group, as captured on May 25, 2019, during a 25-second exposure by a telescope at Lowell Observatory in Arizona. Credit: Victoria Girgis Lowell Observatory A battle for the sky is raging, and the heavens are losing. Upcoming mega constellations of satellites, designed to blanket Earth orbit in spacecraft beaming high-speed Internet around the world, risk filling the firmament with tens of thousands of moving points of light, forever changing our view of the cosmos. Astronomers who rely on unsullied skies for their profession and members of the general public who enjoy the natural beauty of what lies above stand to lose out. The arrival of such a large number of satellites “has the potential to change our relationship, and our connection, with the universe,” says Ruskin Hartley, executive director of the nonprofit International Dark-Sky Association. But with no binding international laws or regulations in place to protect the night sky, anyone opposing the advancement of mega constellations is surely fighting a losing battle. Right? Wrong. A new paper to be published later this year in the Vanderbilt Journal of Entertainment and Technology Law argues that the Federal Communications Commission—the agency responsible for licensing the operation of these constellations in the U.S.—should have considered the impact these satellites would have on the night sky. In ignoring a key piece of federal environmental legislation, the FCC could be sued in a court of law—and lose—potentially halting further launches of mega constellations until a proper review is carried out.

'We endorse the idea of voluntarism; self-responsibility: Family, friends, and churches to solve problems, rather than saying that some monolithic government is going to make you take care of yourself and be a better person. It's a preposterous notion: It never worked, it never will. The government can't make you a better person; it can't make you follow good habits.' - Ron Paul 1988
