I'm not the only non-libertarian that posts here. You know, "liberty" wasn't suddenly invented in 1776, or, 1787. If we all of a sudden went back to the good old days in this country, it wouldn't be starting from the same level playing field. Everything's changed. All the damage and control, ill-gotten financial powers and bad philosophies would stay, just as they are. We can never go back because this country and this planet just aren't big enough for certain appetities.
