Roman Saponkov: Judging by the frequent attempts to attack our air defense in the south, everything is heading towards an imminent massive NATO air raid. The F-16s for strikes are already at a low start, and their “transfer” will traditionally be announced a couple of days after the first strikes from these F-16s. All the missing pilots will be found in NATO countries, but they won’t tell us about it. Most likely they will fly from countries bordering Ukraine. The target could be the group in Crimea and the Dnepr group. The enemy will try to gain air superiority by simply destroying our air defense and aircraft. https://voenhronika-ru.translate.goog/publ/vojna_na_ukraine/12_06_2024_srochno_nato_gotovit_massirovannyj_udar_po_rossii_iz_ukrainy_karta_boevykh_dejstvij_chasov_jar_volchansk_14_video/60-1-0-15355?_x_tr_sl=ru&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en-US&_x_tr_pto=wapp G7 To Give Ukraine $50 Billion of Russian Assets https://news.antiwar.com/2024/06/13/g7-leaders-agree-to-provide-ukraine-with-50-billion-using-frozen-russian-assets/ Biden, Zelensky Sign 10-Year Bilateral Military Deal

it's actually for a worse reason. now that it's in the financial system, Wall Street, non-anonymized, etc, they have their fingers on it. they are embracing the scam because it gives them control and made them very wealthy, so now they can sell the scam because it helps with the surveillance state and NWO agenda. He didn't like it before, now he likes it for that reason. really says a lot, doesn't it? -- something I wrote about 4 years ago about this --

You actually ignored the book I posted there. Anyway, I am going to post this and leave the thread. I've said enough. It is not incumbent on me to substantiate every comment I make. History was my major. I'm very well-read. I understand history; I don't just "make stuff up". I believe this should be enough. Here are thousands of results for "Jan Hus" and "uprisings" and "uprising" form history books in Google's scanned database: https://www.google.com/search?tbm=bks&q=%22Jan+Hus%22+%2B+%22uprisings%22 https://www.google.com/search?q=%22Jan+Hus%22+%2B+%22uprising%22&sca_esv=2e3fa504fbebd1be&sca_upv=1&tbm=bks&ei=vr1oZp2KHNmk5NoPmPC12AE&ved=0ahUKEwid4Y3Ku9SGAxVZElkFHRh4DRsQ4dUDCAk&uact=5&oq=%22Jan+Hus%22+%2B+%22uprising%22&gs_lp=Eg1nd3Mtd2l6LWJvb2tzIhYiSmFuIEh1cyIgKyAidXByaXNpbmciSOIJUKEHWKEHcAB4AJABAJgBbaAB0wGqAQMwLjK4AQPIAQD4AQGYAgCgAgCYAwCIBgGSBwCgB9kB&sclient=gws-wiz-books

That's merely an encyclopaedia. Basic. But if you read it carefully you would see mentions of the various times Hus would not stop using Catholic churches and seminaries to preach his heresy, and even foment uprisings. The Hussite Wars followed. I'm only trying to tell you there's more to it than mental indignation. The Protestant revolts changed governments. When governments change, there are winners and losers. Hus didn't have to die. He chose to die, even at the end. "Ulrich said to Hus : ' Dear Master, if you will repent of the heresy for which you are to suffer, then will I willingly shrive you ; but you, being a priest, know that one cannot shrive nor grant absolution to a heretic' Hus had already confessed that morning before leaving his prison ; he now answered, ' It matters not, I am not in mortal sin.' He assured the bystanders that he was innocent of the sins laid to his charge, and tried to preach to them, but this Count Louis would not permit.^ ...The executioner then led Hus to the stake. Two ******(word defaulted as profane by forum bot, even though it is not) s of wood were placed beneath his feet. He was standing facing east, and some of the spectators objected that a heretic should not face the rising sun ; so he was made to stand facing west. A chain was placed round his neck, and he was bound to the stake ; wood and straw were then piled round him until they reached his chin. Count Louis and Marshal Pappenheim then advanced and asked him if he would recant and save his life. Hus lifted his eyes to heaven and said..." https://archive.org/details/popejohntwentyth00kitt/page/400/mode/2up?q=stake&view=theater

No, we don't "just disagree". You haven't read anything I post or link to. I posted to wikipedia for one because you guys use it and it had an outline for the Hussite Wars. You're not addressing any of my points. This makes discussion impossible. To disagree suggests an on-par absorption and appreciation of history, and I'm not getting that here with yourself and Clayton. So, time to move on.

You're not getting my point. Many times the church restrained the secular authorities, and capital punishment was the penalty for traitors. Hus was not just a heretic. He was a revolutionary and had multiple opportunities with leniency that he refused. You can read about it. The Hussite Wars also killed and displaced many Catholics. Remember, this was not merely about a theological difference. It was about kingdoms and empires, and to overthrow the Church meant to become the new owners of that bounty. https://www.newadvent.org/cathen/07584b.htm https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hussite_Wars

Why do this back-and-forth detraction? It's not history. You wrote nothing that refutes what I said, nor did Clayton. You've seen he meme - one does not simply. Which is about as much of my time I can further spend in this thread. I'll leave some links and raise your Jan Hus with Joan of Arc. It's all very complicated, you see. Now, Treebeard's going to be careful what he posts. Be assured, all he meant was to make readers think about history. I'm sure Clayton and yourself didn't read the article I posted early on. That's about all. I might add that besides all the fighting, there had been no less than 3 contested popes around this time, as France was really having sway. Sigismund the HRE was involved. Hus was given his chances, many times... over and over... you see, CUI BONO is the question you Protestants never ask about the happenings in England, Germany, or Czechia (HRE) for that matter, when the Church's and its peoples bounty over the course of a thousands years was suddenly handed over to some secular prince and his band of compadres. This spirit is what brought on the American and French revolutions also. Ergo, here we are. And power doesn't kill anymore. It's all good. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sigismund,_Holy_Roman_Emperor https://www.newadvent.org/cathen/07584b.htm

I don't think this stat by itself is a useful isolation. Costs due to administration and buildings, staff, etc, all that goes along with the system, those can APPEAR to be more costly PER PRISONER when in reality the total number of prisoners is much lower and that skews the number. For example - Texas has a per 100k pop / prisoner rate of 601, while Massachusetts is only 116. Therefore, the cost of an individual prisoner is artificially deflated when that stat is isolated. The whole cost of the system is divided among a mcuh larger prison population. Just simple division. There are more examples. 775 (LA), 859 (MS), AL (500), AZ (567). KY (561), etc. appear cheaper but for example New Jersey, another high-cost stat, is only 174, Rhode Island 152, New York 199, etc. Even California is only 319. https://worldpopulationreview.com/state-rankings/prison-population-by-state

No, the point is that people who know next-to-nothing about history shoudn't attempt to form opinions on it, especially in important matters, and those who need to quickly pull up "muh wikipedia" in order to find a hot line that supports their bias should perhaps not be making wide historical judgements. There not even a "Fourth Crusade" anyway. The armies sacked Constantinople against papal orders. It's an example of the beginning decline in Catholic power in European kingdoms and the East/West schism. If they did what Innocent III wanted, (the Pope is supposed to call and direct the nature of a Crusade), then there wouldn't have been a grimy Sack of Constantinople, that happened because secularist politics and Venetian powers interfered, like ClaytonB's precious Republics of which Venice was one. Clayton should direct his ire against those who disobeyed Innocent III and followed Republicans.

Until he wins the election it doesn't matter if he does it. After he's elected it makes no difference for him politically if he does or not. This of course goes for everything he says. Something which is more difficult for a sitting president, as they could decide to do something tomorrow...

You're always twisting things. You mentioned the Crusades and then you RE-NAMED the link "the Fourth Crusade" which doesn't even GO to Wikipedia (not an unbiased source of history) page for the Fourth Crusade, but rather it links to the Sack of Constantinople. They are NOT the same thing. Wikipedia has a Fourth Crusade page, and that's not it, so you RE-NAMED it. I prefer not to even write against you. It's a waste of time because you don't listen.

ClaytonB, I don't have any problem with the Crusades, and for someone with Islam issues, I don't know why you would, other than you see everything through an anti-Catholic lens. I regard the Kingdom of Jerusalem to be one of the best of all governments in the Holy Land, historically. It recapured the Holy Land which Christians held for centuries before the Mohammedans and Jews took that place over by bloodshed. (See Mamilla Pool massacre link here). I'm glad the Church went back there and took it back. I wish we never lost it.

There were so many differences, but I reckon there were at least some rather absolute monarchs, and that Henry VIII was one, along with some of the French kings, and the Spanish. It's a wide field once cannot simplify into a few paragraphs. I take umbrage with your idea that merchants were somehow indicative of an epochal shift. England, for example, was thriving in commerce and trade all throughout the medieval period, especially in wools and clothing. This was long before Henry VIII. And it was a happy place, Merry Olde England.

It was the Protestant revolt, rooted in greed and heresy that started all the bloodshed. By the way, it was the Church's development of the court system that RESTRAINED governments and gave rights to those accused to witchcraft and revolution. There sure was a lot of it to follow... hate the Church, love what we GOT. Pass!

My guess is that Macron knows the swell of discontent will only rise higher. He's trying to get ahead of it and will surely be doing as much rigging as he can get away with, with the help of the financial elites and their corporations and NGO's to keep Le Pen out of office. You need to know the history of the National Front party (name recently changed to National Rally) which Le Pen inherited from her father. Her father is 90 and now under charges by the EU. World Jewry will do everything possible to stop her from obtaining the leadership of France. They don't believe her when she's tried to separate her views from those of her father. And they shouldn't, because she knows what they really are.

    - Benny Gantz leaves Netanyahu coalition after the insane, broad-daylight IDF air-bombing and ground raid that murdered 274 Palestinians in order to extract 4 Israeli hostages. Gantz is going to stand as an alternative to Netanyahu and is actively working with the Biden Adm and other Israelis to get Netanyahu out of office. Netanyahu would certainly not be coming to address a joint-session of the US congress if Biden had his way. Neither would he be coming if Nancy Pelosi were still majority leader. - Blinken is going to Israel again to try and stop Netanyahu from committing more genocide. His task is to have Israel agree to a ceasfire and the allowane of US aid to Palestinians. ^ None of the above would be happening (except the murder of 274 Palestinians) if Trump were President. At LEAST tens of thousands of Palestinians, probably over 100,000, would already be slaughtered. To support Trump is to support genocide.
