Here the losing party, definitely in malicious cases, has to pay all the fees. Is that a thing ?

I've seen it work/tried it. You get the most uninspiring pieces of text that are fully on point but completely boring. Also, facts can be interpreted completely wrong. Sort of your average politician...

Excuse my ignorance but is a jury trial (again my ignorance, but in civil cases that's not the norm per se, right ?) in this matter one of the factors that would make it more unfair as you would be dealing with a bunch of emotional jurors who have been listening to days of sobbing people ?

I think everyone should be able to say everything they want, so no issue there. I'm much more interested in the intent people have. I don't know about her immigration papers but I've seen some questionable stuff she has said. Politics has become drama since everything is on camera, AOC isn't as crazy as she appears, the people are, and this is what they will vote for (AOC). At least some sizeable portion of the population. Would you go along with that to some degree ? Instead of actors becoming politicians, politicians have become actors. - Luctor et Emergo (idk if that's already coined somewhere)

Why I ask? I like to have an intelligent discussion and sometimes it needs some fuel. I'm perfectly happy in taking positions I do not (fully) agree with in order to have someone else develop better arguments. It's about knowledge, and knowledge is power, as you may well know. Most of my questions are not because I want to know the answer to the question but rather the thought process behind it. I do subscribe to your further answer. I'm there with you. But in order to educate the masses you need to be open to the argument you will meet. And educating the masses is something you'll have to do, it's the only way.

I just showed you that the Left invented these terms in the 19th century. Then, you defend one of their Orwellian catch phrases. You're internalising their propaganda. See how it worked? No different than supporting the Reps or Dems. Same trap.

Being critical of what the nation of Israel does, is not anti-semitism. I don't know how difficult that is to understand. https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/Semitism Based on this definition you could say that being against positive and negative discrimination it would automatically make you an anti-semite ? I'm not sure that dictionary concept is that well thought out... Idk, this is just an interesting afterthought.

Marxism is capitalist. Das Kapital. These terms were invented by the Judeo-Masonic banking groups to raise revolutions and wars in the 19th century. The extent that they propose opposing ideologies is very minimal, and only cosmetic in historical, real application. 1785 Samuel Johnson's: Capital: 1) Relating to the head. 2) Criminal in the highest degree. 3) That which affects life. 4) Chief ; principal. 5) Chief ; metropolitan. 6) Applied to letters : large. 7. Capital stoc: The principal or original stock of a trader or company. Capital: (noun from the adjective)1. the upper part of a pillar. 2. The chief city of a nation or kingdom. Capitalist - word did not exist.

Not really. But that's not the point. I'm just saying that it's society that breeds politics, you have to change the way people think, not politicians. As they never keep promises, I imagine the fire to actually extract heat from the surrounding area. But yeah, politicians are quite a renewable resource. Thank you, I wasn't aware of that. You learn something every day.

pretty much everything. The tension and war between American democracy and European-style high finance is what is playing out and has been unfolding for nigh 120 years. We're long in the tooth. These times were predicted by deep thinkers across the fields and disciplines at the highest levels... from Schumpeter to Beard. They lived when it began and knew where it was going... we've arrived... capitalism is oligarchy is plutocracy at war with culture and democracy, because democracy was too weak and stupid to contain its power. Ethics and natural law are the only powers aside from OLD TIME RELIGION that can defeat CAPITAL - ISM.

Rand is among the few who still believe in fiscal responsibility on Capitol Hill. As the system plays out, however, the need and votes for bigger government is democratically unstoppable now. Capitalism went bad. The wealth is too concentrated and dependency has become a way of life.

I was in Ireland recently and they burn fuel oil and peat for heating. I have to say I'm not angry at the fact that's not used here anymore. Doesn't make the inner city air that breathable I can say.

Not really. The majority of society is in favour of those things because they do not have wood stoves and they know someone that heard of someone that struggles from a neighbour that has a wood fired stove. I can see how in the inner city you may not want everyone to have a wood burning stove. That said, it's very renewable and fire is the one thing that separates us most from the animals. There are many animals that have emotions, use tools, make plans, build housing, have a community, but I haven't heard of an animal yet that makes fire. Humans have made fire for a long time, anyone that has made a campfire before knows it's in our genes.

It's a major stretch to try and imagine FJB running again with the endorsement of the Democratic Party. The only way he would replace his RM is if he's the candidate. I'm just not there. The Democrats are jockeying to get ahead of KH for President, not Vice President.

If Trump gets in, there could be some wild cards up his sleeve. Regarding foreign policy. Consider... 1) Final term. Can be truer to himself. 2) Russians know and respect him more than DeSantis. 3) Trump won't care what the globalists try to do as much, not running again. 4) Trump harbors some bitterness against Bibi Netanyahu. 5) Trump was coaxed into assassinating Solemani at Israel's behest, but didn't get anything from it. If we consider how Bolton, Haley, other neocons and of course neolibs oppose Trump, but the neocons

Well said. Police should try to de-escalate whenever possible but the opposite seems true in many cases. I've personally been in a situation before, not bad at all compared to this, where I was the de-escalating factor but a cop was trying to find reasons. A friend of mine was arrested heavy handed by a cop for doing exactly nothing... Only because he got the phone number of a random bystander that helped him he got off and received damages. But you imagine it happens more often...

IMHO you could call this a lynching. (https://www.britannica.com/topic/lynching) But does it matter what you call it ? By the way, I count more than 5 officers, why aren't more arrested ? I think you're guilty when you allow your colleagues to proceed with this kind of violence. Not as a private individual, but as a cop. In any case, as said before, I'm glad that the people on the right stand up to speak against this horrible violence.
