Michelle Obama was at what could be a secret fundraiser over the weekend in Mallorca. -cut- Eric Schmidt, executive chairman of Alphabet, Google's parent company, was an enthusiastic supporter of both of Obama's presidential campaigns and has been a major Democratic donor. According to 'New York Post', Michelle was spotted chilling, relaxing, sipping water and talking to ex-Google CEO Eric Schmidt and other guests at a party at the villa of James Costos.. A large party will be held at the estate on Saturday night. More than one hundred guests will include Eric Schmidt, the former CEO of Google, and the film director George Lucas. https://www.majorcadailybulletin.com/news/celebs/2024/07/06/125463/mallorca-celebrities-michelle-obama-back-the-island.html

everyone can think about this and decide for themselves. it's complicated. i do think Vance being from Ohio was the kicker. pretty soon the ball will go back to the Democrats when Not Biden is nominated.

hmm. Norman Ornstein — who is an emeritus scholar at the Koch-funded American Enterprise Institute — said that Vance "is not a leader." "He is a pandering, cowardly, disgraceful lickspittle to Trump and and Putin," he said Saturday. "That he would say this is a true reflection of who he is." https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/jd-vance-is-not-a-leader-trump-v-p-hopeful-under-fire-for-reckless-shooting-comments/ar-BB1pWxD1

The Aspen Ideas Festival is a program of the Aspen Institute. 2018. Humans are tribal. But in America today, the allure of tribalism takes us down one treacherous path after another. American political elites have ignored the group identities that matter most to ordinary Americans. Identity politics have seized both the left and right in an especially dangerous, racially inflected way to the point that every group now feels threatened. To survive, America must transcend tribal fears and loyalties and forge an authentic national identity: one that acknowledges the reality of group differences and fights the deep inequities that divide us. Underwritten by Koch Industries. https://www.aspenideas.org/sessions/can-americans-resist-the-pull-of-tribalism Speakers: J.D. Vance, Amy Chua

Unreal hypocrisy. "He then slammed backers of the war in Iraq for “precipitat the genocide of one of the oldest Christian communities in the entire world" https://jewishinsider.com/2024/05/vance-puts-pro-israel-spin-on-isolationist-worldview-in-quincy-institute-speech/ Which is why you're a fellow of the AEI which is the actual neocon think tank that DID the Iraq War. Right. and this - "“The way that we get there in Israel is by combining the Abraham Accords approach with the defeat of Hamas. That gets us to a place where Israel and the Sunni nations can play a regional counterweight to Iran,” Vance said. “We don’t want a broader regional war. We don’t want to get involved in a broader regional war. The best way to do that is to ensure that Israel, with the Sunni nations, can actually police their own region of the world. That allows us to spend less time and resources on the Middle East and focus more on East Asia, in the same way that we want our own allies to do the job in Europe .”

given the nature of the building ownership which I mentioned earlier, I'm interested in why he wasn't seen before he was on the roof. The roof is two-tiered. As far as I'm aware, the first time he was noticed he was already on the second tier and was starting to bear crawl higher. The car means nothing. I want to eliminate the possibility that he emerged from inside the building.

But a source within the Secret Service community tells RealClearPolitics that the agency rules of engagement in this situation are to wait until the president is fired upon to return fire. “You want to take a shot then find out the guy was holding a telescope?” the source suggested. “The Secret Service is by nature reactive…and you better be right when you do react or you’re f—–d.” https://thelibertydaily.com/7-things-we-know-about-would-be-assassin/ *** still doesn't explain why Trump wasn't immediately removed from the podium. "A police sniper then shot Crooks dead " (so, it was the police who did not fire in time. Interesting.)

    - SS did not takeout shooter when they could have, before he fired. - SS did not secure their detail Trump despite shooter being seen and posing mortal threat. - Trump should have been removed instantly from stage well before shots. This means his on-stage detail were not informed (most likely) or, (less likely) were in on it. - Police who shot Crooks were not SS and have not been identified or interviewed yet ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - Claims of explosive "devices" and "containers" in car, home do not provide any details whatsoever about the nature of these objects. They could literally be water bottles and household cleaning products. - Magic cell phone impenetrable (yeah, right). Probably being loaded up with whatever tale they want to weave.

The shot was fired from closer to 150 yards away which is almost 500 feet. Plenty of distance for factors to alter the shot(s). If you listen to the eyewitness, he says that although he could see the man climbing to the roof and then getting down to post up, he admitted that because the SS were much closer to the rally site, they probably didn't see him, even when he was prostrate down on the rooftop. The police may have seen him. This all took place in only 2-3 minutes. The time from when police then SS were cognizant of what the eyewitness and his friends were trying to communicate to them could have been over a minute. We don't know yet (I haven't updated since last night) if the police and SS were communicating between themselves for a minute or so trying to decide what to do. Remember, he had a sniper setup and the SS were down on the ground so it's not like they could just start running toward him over 160 yards of open grass like idiots. The SS sniper must have already been setting up, which is why the perp was immediately taken down. So, the shooter rushed his shot somewhat. He only missed by a freaking half-inch or less. He didn't even really miss, it was just the way Trump turned his head. I was skeptical for a while but I'm not skeptical anymore. It was a legit assassination attempt.

Having listened back a few times, the shots from SS and the shooter sounded about the same, slightly different, but the angles were also different.

Contrail is about a ft long I would say. 2700fps this would be an exposure of 1/2700th second. Even my old DSLR goes up to 1/8000th of a second. It's in broad daylight so not even that crazy to have fast shutter speeds.

Yeah me too. Although the sound on video did sound a lot like subsonic small caliber... However, the picture of the bullet speeding past trump, it had a vapour trial behind it. Suggesting air went supersonic around the tip of the bullet. Given that it already traveled 150 yards, it wouldn't do that anymore on a 22lr (at least I think).

It would not be the best choice by far. The amount of energy left in the projectile after 150 yards is probably not enough to kill a human at that point. Unless a lucky hit in an artery or something very vital. But accuracy wise there's no reason good accuracy can't be maintained with 22lr at those distances. Would a .223 round be much more suitable giving it's an actual rifle round and not some mini pistol round shot from a rifle. So yeah, impossible, no, highly impractical, yes. The low amount of kickback would allow for quick and accurate shot placing after having been sighted in however...

Working off the naive assumption that it would make the public less willing to support military alliances and overseas commitments? That assumption is predicated on a faulty expectation. They don't give a crap what we think.

07/08/2024 Placed on Senate Legislative Calendar under General Orders. Calendar No. 433. Action By: Senate https://www.congress.gov/bill/118th-congress/senate-bill/4638/all-actions https://federalnewsnetwork.com/federal-newscast/2024/07/senate-version-of-ndaa-to-require-automatic-draft-registration-for-all-citizens/ I don't believe for a second that it will pass the Senate without amendment to change that automatic registration for Selective Service, at the very least the provision for all citizens (women) to be registered will have opposition among Democrats enough to be removed. Still, a whore like Jack Reed who is spearheading this 2025 NDAA has no qualms about such a move. Jack is a willing slave to the military industrial complex. He has done nothing his entire career but make money off defense contractors, then try and pawn it off as "jobs". My uncle who has met him calls him "Jack Greed", and his sophisticated corruption has taken advantage of Rhode Island's naive Democrats for decades.

Everything he said was wrong, but all the Democrats care about is the cosmetic appeal. You don't hear them disputing anything he said, just arguing about the delivery of said dangerous B.S.

Ok, let's test that theory. LOL. The Euros and Canadians don't come here anymore because they adopted social welfare states. They have superior safety nets and social contracts (it's getting close now, though...) to US. The only ones coming are third world and regime change victims, or sanctions victims, or cultural fan boys and fan girls who embrace the welfare. Even the hardworking ones use welfare. Man works, wife collects. The theory can never be tested. US would have civil disobedience on a cosmic scale with uncontrollable chaos if we ever abandoned welfare. Capitalism made it necessary because capitalism is perverted and anti-natural law, and socialism is the good cop treat from the same elites who stole the capital. This is what too few understand. Schumpeter, Weber, Beard, Fritsch, and more.. they said it would happen. They knew the deal. It's a literal conspiracy, to turn capitalism into socialism and then tyranny was child's play. By hogging up the two sides of the Judeo-Masonic dichotomy, they fooled the dumb electorates, and murdered anyone like JFK who knew what they were doing.
