Nature could develop this but the chance is quite low. The chance of escape from a lab is also quite low. Somehow, it does seem to me that the risk increases when you start growing pathogens this dangerous. Even if they are studied to prepare for countermeasures, let the discussion if the vaccine worked or not go for a second, it did not take long for that infrastructure to arise. So from that perspective, given the added risk, I don't think this should be done.

Not always. The dollar, even during our lifetimes, has its periods of strength and safe haven. The Fed has pulled out all the stimulus, and the rates are rising both in the bond market and in the Fed basis point hikes. It is not a bad time to stay in cash at all. The general population has not even started to understand how the housing market is going to retract. There is still a contrived shortage of housing -- but that will end by the early autumn, increasing in severity all winter, because almost everyone is complacently not believing that values can fall. They are greedy and lazy. That paid off for them, so they are slow to react, and to believe the easy money is really over. These people will all start to sell together, most at the wrong time. There is no real shortage of housing at all. It's just that nobody is selling yet - (except for the most savvy).

REPUBLICAN, rS-pib'-II-ken. a. Placing the government in the people.power is lodged in more than one. DEMOCRACY, dc-mok'-kr.\-fy. f. One of the three f >rms of govern- ment, that ill which the fovereign power is lodged in the body of the people. ^^^note that the definition of "democracy" does not mean the people decide every matter and question. It never has. So, why act like it does? There is no reason for it except to suggest, without EVIDENCE, that "at least we're not that", or that, "we protect you from that risk". Hence, it is propaganda and intimidation. It is the protection racket, constantly scaring the gullible into thinking we NEED representatives to think and act on our behalfs, not for ourselves. Alas, because in THEORY, elected representatives would do as the electors wish, a Republic is democratic. Show me ONE un-democratic Republic. It would have to be a form of government in which the people have sovereign power but do not choose anything. Is that not a mere paradox? COMMONWEALTH, kom- f '' mun-un-welth A polity, an eftabliflied form of civil life; the publick, the general body of the people; a government in which the fupreme power is lodged in the people, a republick. A complete dictionary of the English language, : both with regard to sound and meaning. One main object of which is, to establish a plain and permanent standard of pronunciation. To which is prefixed a prosodial grammar. by Sheridan, Thomas, 1719-1788 Publication date 1789

I guess you didn't know that the Soviets held elections. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elections_in_the_Soviet_Union Republic has always been defined as sovereignty in representatives of the people. That's why they both begin with "rep". The representatives are democratically elected. Hence, America's founding parties were both republican AND democratic. I'm not going to sacrifice correct history or correct etymology in an argument with anyone.

They didn't. Re-read my post. As you know, the Democratic Party had founding fathers in it. You live in a democracy. A republic IS a form of democracy. The two powerful groups of founders politically were either Democratic-Republicans aka Jeffersonians or Federalists, and the Federalists were also democratic republicans, just favoring elitism more.

Alas, there is no shortage of wells. Thousands of capped wells could go live, and the price of fuel would not significantly decline for long. Price discovery is not functionining in the marketplace, because the financial elites abuse their leverage for their own benefit, regardless of whether more wells are brought online. This is an historical fact.

You've said that the U.S.A. was structured to be a "representative republic, not a democracy", but the distinction is overrated. That is because all republics are democracies of the representative type. A democracy that elects representatives to legislate is still a democracy. The Constitution guarantees a republican form of government (I have another thread about this) -- meaning, a democracy where voters elect representatives for a short number of years. This politicised the nature of America, so it is constantly preoccupied with voting for people, as if people are agents of change, not issues. Issues are rarely voted upon. They are decided by the deciders who are either representatives or lawyers of the courts. Etymologically speaking, it is the contingent selection of representatives that defines the term "republic".

Segment: "The leaders of the Democratic Party are the ideologists of US military-biological activity in Ukraine," Kirillov said in a briefing in Moscow on Wednesday. Citing an MoD analysis of seized documents, the RCB Troops chief said the profits politicians earn for the US private biotech sector helps pay for their reelection via campaign donations. According to Kirillov, the US executive branch has also worked to create a "legislative framework to finance military biological research directly from the federal budget," with "funds of non-government organizations controlled by the leadership of the Democratic Party, including" charitable foundations belonging to "the Clintons, the Rockerfellers, Soros, and the Bidens attracted under state guarantees." https://sputniknews.com/20220511/democratic-partys-leaders-are-ideologists-behind-us-military-biological-activities-in-ukraine-mod-1095433497.html

Every war the U.S. has been in uses a catalyst that triggers this country into war, that operates to cull favor with the population and override Constitutional protocols. We are in the exact same situation as when the RMS Lusitania was sank, carrying tonnes of weapons for the Great War. Before anyone could say squat, the United States was at war with Germany. It was a setup, and there is a setup happening right now.

This is tantamount to a declaration of war against Russia. Russia may decide it has to take out NATO bases, planes, ships, etc.

Pope says NATO may have caused Russia’s invasion of Ukraine Francis says transatlantic military alliance was ‘barking’ at Russia’s door. ROME — Pope Francis said that NATO “barking” at Russia’s door may have led to Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine — and said he has offered to meet the Russian president in Moscow. In an interview with the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera, Francis reflected on Russia’s lethal aggression toward its neighbor and said while he might not go as far as saying NATO’s presence in nearby countries “provoked” Moscow, it “perhaps facilitated” the invasion. full article: https://www.politico.eu/article/pope-francis-nato-cause-ukraine-invasion-russia/
