So is Vice trying to claim the bridge was knocked down on purpose to hurt heroin addicted trans sex workers? Isn't the only thing you to hurt someone addicted to heroin is...them and time?

That could make a lot of sense but it could also be a huge risk. He has a lot of power/seniority in the House and wouldn't want to give it up. But also he has the Liz Cheney faction and the Trump faction coming after him and to win a primary you need one or the other on your side. In KY it would be hard for Thomas to run against someone that Trump endorsed. Not impossible, but very difficult.

Good for Massie! Trump is an ass but the GOP is stuck with him for now. Thankfully I think this will be his last run for POTUS. If he wins he won't be eligible to run again in 2028. If he loses....well I think that will damage his brand too much and he'll be too old to be considered again. But.....who knows? By the way, is Massie going to run for Mitch McConnell's seat? He should. That would be awesome!

This is like Swordsmyth's excuses from Trump on bump fire stock bans, which paved the way for Biden's pistol brace ban and Trump's support for red flag laws. I'm not sure what his excuse is for Trump's support for an assault weapons ban.

It looks like the power went off two times. The ship was going forward without power, but with a good amount of momentum, the first time and when the power came back on, the pilot put the engine in reverse. Doing so caused the prop walk (the ship to turn). Normally prop walk can be corrected by going slightly forward. However the pilot would have been unable to do this because the power went off a second time. i agree; in hindsight it seems like the ship had a lot of momentum without power so allowing the ship to get past the bridge seems like it might have been a better alternative.

LOL. i JUST saw her clip from Meet The Press this last Sunday doing her mea culpa for not coming out against January 6th as RNC chairperson. It almost makes me wonder if they hired her just to humiliate her and ruin her brand with Republicans.

I haven't gotten sick in many years. When I heard about covid I started taking colloidal silver everyday and I made a spray touse on my face and hands before and after going out in public. I also got some ivermectin a couple of years ago I took it once a week for about a year. Now I only take it if I get around someone who is noticeably sick. No vaxx, mask, or test for me. I feel fine. I also drank a high dollar tonic water and took zinc along with it during the so called height of the outbreak just in case. I also took it if I was around my brother who had been vaxxed. I live in a very rural area almost nobody wore mask or took the vaccine around me ao there is that too. I still spray my face and hands before and after being out in public. Also, I ended up having to take in my conically ill younger sister and her autistic son after my mom died. I gave her all the same things I was taking and she is in the best health she has been in her whole life. I gave my nephew silver and chlorine dioxide everyday and ivermectin once a month and his cognition has gone way up. So everyone at my house has been doing pretty good. One thing about the so called pandemic that I think is kind of good is that people seem to not go out in public if they are sick and running a fever and coughing and snotting all over everything as much as they used to.

That doesn't even kind of make sense. No articles of impeachment were ever lodged against Trump for being a "Russian agent" despite that charge being thrown at him constantly. Even Trump saying he believed Putin over U.S. intelligence services claims that Russia was paying the Taliban to kill Americans didn't trigger an impeachment inquiry. But then again, Trump allowed CIA fixer William Barr cover up Epstein's murder. I'll buy that Trump was being blackmailed. He paid Stormy Daniels hush money after all.

There were other reasons to lock Hillary up. But here's why that didn't happen. Oh look, and here Bill swapped out Hillary for a younger model more on par with Trump's wife Melania.

jmdrake replied to a thread Candace Owens in U.S. Political News
Posted without comment: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2006/feb/07/southafrica.israel https://www.britannica.com/place/South-Africa/Diamonds-gold-and-imperialist-intervention-1870-1902 Initially, individual diggers, Black and white, worked small claims by hand. As production rapidly centralized and mechanized, however, ownership and labour patterns were divided more starkly along racial lines. A new class of mining capitalists oversaw the transition from diamond digging to mining industry as joint-stock companies bought out diggers. The industry became a monopoly by 1889 when De Beers Consolidated Mines (controlled by Cecil Rhodes) became the sole producer. Although some white diggers continued to work as overseers or skilled labourers, from the mid-1880s the workforce consisted mainly of Black migrant workers housed in closed compounds by the companies (a method that had previously been used in Brazil). https://www.jpost.com/jerusalem-report/what-is-the-history-of-the-south-african-jewish-diamond-industry-687629

A month ago bosslady comes home from work at IAD. She's coughing and blaming it on the drywall dust in the huge kitchen I have nearly completed. I call "bullshit", but no... bosslady be right. Asshole husband be wrong... until he wasn't. She brought the plague home with her and gave it to me. We were both on our asses for three weeks. While I am now able to work... at least partially, I still feel like the devil. When I came down with it a couple days later, I tested us both for covid. Nope. Both had 103ºF fevers. Had to be the flu, right? Not sure it was. Last time I had the flu was 1979. My immune system is like a tank. I just don't get sick. Ever. Until now. But no sore throat, which for me was very NON-flu-like. Anyhow, for the past two weeks I've been up and about. Bibi's gone to work, been back, and is gone again this morning. We function but we both feel like crap. I don't want to do anything.

I'd like to boldly assert that this dreck has no chance, but given the prevailing state of raving lunacy in every corner of this and, I must desist. I would like to see it pass. We need that straw to break the camel's back. Better sooner than later because we appear to be losing our wills to basic sense and decency at an alarming rate. If there's anything left of real Americans, let them be pushed to the point where there's no more room to back up. We have been hovering at the shit-or-get-off-the-pot point for at least two decades as Theye have steadily encroached ever more deeply into the territories of our sovereign rights. We've done nothing to stop Themme and that is a great shame upon us all. I say let them deliver the coupe de grace, that either we rise and slaughter them, or be put to the sword as we rightly deserve as reward for our indolent attitudes. What a shame that all has come to this.

What delay? If he doesn't make the appeal bond then it's over unless he can file a Rule 60 motion within a year and a rule 60 motion doesn't stop the judgment from going into effect. He could file a Rule 59 motion for a new trial which would give him more time because a Rule 59 motion stops the execution of a judgment until it is ruled on. But he may have just filed a notice of appeal which would preclude the Rule 59.

As is the case with any online situation, opinions change over time (ideally). I have no idea why that thread was resurrected, but I'm glad it was so I could state my change of opinion.
