Yep. Here's the shortcut -- think of a daycare or kindergarten. Anything a kindergarten teacher would naturally want to do in the course of managing the kids, is precisely the kind of public-policy measure that the Marxists will always be in favor of (or actively engineer). Fences to keep them in. Check. CCTVs to track them at all times. Check. Daily roll calls. Check. A constant bustle of pointless, assigned activities. Check. You get the idea. Of course, to scare us into the arms of the "reasonable" Marxists, the globalist Left also has to keep trained attack dogs to scare the living snot out of us. The deep ecologists are not like kindergarten teachers, they're more like the kennel operators at a pet cemetery. They want us kenneled, (physically sedated is preferable), ready to be put down and fed into the incinerator. "Don't worry, children, the attack dogs are behind the fence and can't hurt you. Recess is over and it's time to come inside -- Mx. Furrilove is going to read you all a gender-fluid story and then we're each going to make a tutu for ourselves out of paper plates and glitter!!"

Well, nuclear power has been viable for many decades, it is used to great advantage in France, but we have a big scam surrounding that, so the real reason it's "inefficient" is, as always, politics. Gotta love how DC ruins literally everything. Energy-efficiency is only a means to an end. A parade is a massive energy-sink, but we put on parades because people enjoy them. It is human ends which are the final measure of "efficiency". This is what the Borg-mind Left cannot comprehend. The real problem with petroleum vehicles, for the Left, is that they empower the individual. And all of that self-determination doesn't promote the Woke Borg Hivemind.... ... And Other Fairy Tales

:facepalming: Another hallmark of the Left. They learn one thing about economics, and suddenly they are experts on all social order. "Economy of scale" refers to the efficiency advantages of large-scale production. However, the Left misunderstands this to mean that the government can make any particular good cheap by producing it at scale through subsidy. Well, that's not how the real world works. You can subsidize the diamond-mining industry all you want, but no amount of "economy of scale" will ever make diamonds cheap. It will make them cheaper, of course, but not cheap. That is because the scarcity of diamonds is a fundamental physical fact of our planet (as far as we can tell). Oil, on the other hand, is not scarce. It's a relatively abundant resource. Oil isn't cheap because the mean oil tycoons have built so many oil rigs. Rather, so many oil rigs have been built because there is enormous demand for oil, and oil is an abundant resource. In addition, the potential-energy density of oil is high, so the cost-per-unit-energy of harvesting it is low. It's not just low, it's really low. The relative cost of harvesting solar, wind, etc. have come down due to technological advancements, but they are still nowhere near oil and will not be for the foreseeable future. You can subsidize these "alternative energy" sources until your eyes cross, but that will not change the fundamental physical facts of our environment.

Indeed, it is amazing. Pretty sure the professionally-offended Wokists are a product of the Left, though... I don't know what you're trying to say. I don't make the law of gravity a "part of my personal identity" but I'll be amazed when I see an exception to it. The law of supply&demand is what it is, whether I like it or not, just like gravity is what it is, whether I like it or not. The Left are the ones who are obsessed with identity and are living in denial of the basic laws of economics, so... :shrugging:

It always amazes me how lucid the Left is in respect to the basic mechanics of the market whenever it happens to be consistent with their agenda. It's almost like they know the market works and they just don't care how much economic devastation they wreak on the economy with their socialist/commie agenda... :shrugging:

If they have so much power, how come they have to sneak around? Why not just come right out and make a broadcast announcement to the world: "We are all-powerful, we rule the world, you'll do what we say or be shot. End-of-message." Shouldn't be a challenge for them, since they're so all-powerful...

I agree that the fraud has to be stopped and I don't have any solutions to offer in that regard. But every political coup since forever has always started with "just these few rules, just for a while". In fact, we've already had a coup, it's called The "Patriot" Act (and all ensuing measures after that); it was a coup instigated by all 3 branches simultaneously, against We The People. But Trump has never breathed a single word about repealing it. So, whatever deal Trump's offering We The People is just another scam if it involves repealing or suspending the Constitution. How about we keep the Constitution and nullify the illegal, treasonous and anti-American "Patriot" Act, NDAA, Military Commissions Act, and the rest of it. Yeah, I get it, the Left and the Pharma-Industrial Complex are just as evil, but two evils don't fix anything, they just make everything twice as bad. If Trump is a true Patriot, he will confront the monster head-on. He certainly pissed off all the right people the first time around, but if he wants to win in 2024 and fix this country, the way to do it is to take on the snakes in his own party at the root of the problem, instead of trying to play it off like all of the post-9/11 tyranny is all perfectly OK and we just need to suspend the Constitution for a while in order to drag sitting members of Congress into military tribunals. And yes, that would effectively make Donald Trump a king, not a President.

I trust We The People over DC. If the option is either trust one strongman to preserve the Union, or allow the several states to secede, I prefer secession. Perhaps they might form a new and better Union...remember that the first Union began with just 13 founding states. But the lone-strongman is just a coin-flip. The only way he could be trustworthy enough is with an unquestionably divine sign. Other than that, who knows whether he is an angel or a demon in an exceedingly clever disguise. So then the options are throw out the Constitution or throw out the Constitution. That's a wash. Throw out the Constitution+secede (sovereignty goes back to the existing state governments) is obviously preferable to throw out the Constitution and Donald J. Trump decides everything from now on. Who the hell is Trump? I don't mean that in the TDS sense, I simply mean that he's just another human, so he has no magical powers or intelligence above any other American who loves their country and, to be blunt, I don't trust my fellow America-loving patriot to rewrite the Constitution. I trust them in the general sense of being a good human being, but rewriting the Constitution is another matter altogether. The Founders weren't a bunch of clowns, they knew what they were doing. Making Trump king of America is as insane as any leftist globalist proposal.

30 minutes of Fediots screaming in the faces of other Fediots. Seems like they all took a wrong turn at 3rd & Who-Gives-A St... "Not your child, not your business" -- What happened to "It takes a village to raise a child"? Or are we not doing that one anymore? The political theater isn't even entertaining anymore. Anyone remember the stain-on-the-dress? Defining the word "is"? It used to be entertaining at least!!
