The only way Trump (or any U.S. President, for that matter) would deserve a Nobel Peace Prize is if he shutdown all U.S. bases overseas and returned all military servicemembers, equipment, etc. back to the United States. And he'll get bonus points if he began minimizing a standing, national military by transitioning those powers back to the States, shortly thereafter.

That is what dispels the darkness which the evil lurks within. The Light of God destroys the darkness. Through this Light, we see light, and find the peace of God. John 8:12 Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life”

Phillipians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.”

Though the demons are crafty, and growing more powerful, they cower to the Name of Jesus Christ. The mere muttering cuts right through them. Pray the name “Jesus” (Yeshuwa, Isous, etc) and arm yourself with weapons of divine power.

This is not always easy to do. But what is impossible to man, is possible to God, and to those whom He has graced with His Holy, Good, and Life-giving Spirit. Saints have walked, and Saints now walk, and every human is called to be a Saint. Not, however, through our own mere efforts, but through God’s great love and mercy, through His Holy Spirit. Only thing we have to do is open our hearts to Him, and open the door, and He stands just outside waiting for us, and runs toward us and embraces us, and is joyful to have found us.

Ephesians 6:12 ”For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” We must learn to forgive, and pray for the soul of our enemies. We should never find joy or satisfaction in the death of an evil man, but rather pray for them, and shed tears for them, that they have fallen. For those whom they have persecuted, those will find peace. And those they have unjustly murdered, those shall find joy. And those they have sacrificed, those will find eternal life. They however, who have done evil, to the undying worm and the eternal fire. Our battle is against demons, and the devil who prowls around like a lion, searching to devour our souls. Pray to the Lord, our God, for assistance. Pray to the Lord, our God, for mercy.

I don't own mining stock; however, if I was going to invest in mining, I would seriously look at Northern Dynasty Minerals, Ltd. They were at nearly $21.00 a share. They own mining rights to a specific area of Alaska. Due to environmental group pressures, President Obama veto'd legislation allowing for their mine and it immediately stopped their planned mining operation. Without being able to mine, the company stock fell to the floor. It is now sitting somewhere around .55 cents a share. Just earlier this month, President Trump's EPA overturned former President Obama's veto, giving the company a green light to mine the area. https://minepebble.com/ https://www.cfact.org/2019/08/03/trump-epa-overturns-obamas-veto-of-alaskas-pebble-mine/ Critics and environmentalist groups are howling at the decision, alleging this mine will completely decimate the local salmon population and fishery revenue. Northwest Alaska’s Red Dog Mine, the Interior region’s Fort Knox gold mine, and Southeast Alaska’s Greens Creek Mine, all excavated in the 1980s and 1990s, exist as mining operations that actually improved water quality and fish populations downstream (1). Each of these three coexists in a symbiotic relationship with Alaskan fishing operations. The proposed Pebble mine; however, is going to completely decimate the local salmon habitat and fishery revenue? Or perhaps an alternative supposition is the environmentalist organizations will no longer be able to legislatively stall the mining operation until their blackmail non-profit donation coffers are filled with mining revenue and their sour grapes are mass-producing salty tears. Anyway, their ticker symbol is NAK. As I don't invest in them, i've done no due diligence investment research, beyond what is listed above. It doesn't matter what kinds of weapons that cops carry; the point is the weapon is never the central focus of a crime when cops shoot citizens. The public and the media always hold the cops responsible for killing someone unlawfully, especially when the media wants to make it race-related.

Exactly. Notice that whenever law enforcement kills citizens by using guns unlawfully in lethal force, gun control advocates never blame guns for the problem; they always focus on punishing the law enforcement officers involved. So they know it's not guns that are responsible for gun-related crimes, at least when it involves local, state, or federal agents.

So you think he would have actually gotten an assault weapons ban through a republican senate prior to the latest mass shootings? Because I don't. Rand would filibuster such a bill to death. I believe Rand could get over 32 GOP senators to stand with him even if with Trump pushing gun control.

So if Trump proposes an assault weapons ban and some it gets filibustered then that doesn't prove he was for gun control? So Obama didn't get any gun control measures passed, he actually signed two pro gun executive orders...I guess Obama was pro second amendment then.

I'm going to be honest. I'm REALLY aggravated right now. I admire erowe1's ability to correct people with a completely cool demeanor, but at a certain point I just get ticked off. I honestly wanted to say a couple of things that were even more harsh than what I actually ended up saying. I just don't understand how most people can be so nonchalant about Terry's lying.

Well, you'd then be a 4-point Arminian (or 3 if you also believe in total depravity.) Either way, I'd just consider you a moderate Arminian, though I'm not going to try to force you to identify with any label. But, I consider pretty much everyone who doesn't believe in unconditional election to be "Arminian" in some sense. That probably isn't strictly accurate though

Spurgeon was an interesting one. He's not Calvinistic enough for the very "high" Calvinists, yet he's too Calvinistic for the Arminians I respect at the very least that you don't lie about Spurgeon. Many Arminians falsely claim that Spurgeon wasn't a Calvinist, and even insult his intelligence by claiming that he didn't know what Calvinism was when he was talking about it! To be sure, Spurgeon's "Calvinism" was very different than that of A.W. Pink. There's as much variety among us as there is among non-Calvinists
