So, their experience has shown them that failures don't get punished. I really don't think the intention was for the kid to miss, but if that low probability did happen, they'd go into CYA mode like they are now with no (or very low) repercussions. That's not a difficult shot and if Trump didn't turn his head, that's a direct hit. Brains blown out on live TV right before the convention. Then, calls for national unity. Some other puppet for the MIC takes over, civil unrest is quelled. More power and wealth gets transferred to government to "ensure our safety". And a whole host of other horrors that exist in that timeline. But a low probability failure?? You get exactly what you're seeing now. Administrative CYA, plausible deniability, shake-ups on the DNC (which most likely would have happened anyway, but in a different way), and a push to move on. Also, I've watched The Boys. The last season really jumped the shark - they even had to put disclaimers on the last episode because it tracked too closely to real events. :)

So far, pretty frustrating how each agency limits their scope to one piece or another. It allows them to deflect responsibility entirely.

To be clear, I think speculation is ok for these forums as long as we clearly state it as such. We just need to be cautious. It tends to send people down erroneous rabbit holes when it's thrown out there like some kind of revelation. I have seen no credible evidence for a second shooter, a shattered teleprompter, anyone on the water tower, or the involvement of Maxwell Yearick. I HAVE seen lots of evidence of head-scratching security lapses that coincided with a 20-year old kid that somehow negotiated his way through them.

Unlike the Gretchen Whitmer set up, though, dead men tell no tales. And you're relying on government to investigate government to undercover the links. Meanwhile, they've covered their tracks so that no one other than a government agency would be able to find the connections.

Have you ever read the book, Nudge, by Cass Sunstein and Richard Thaler? Their concept they ironically dubbed, "libertarian paternalism", was highly touted by Barack Obama. Anyway, in that book, they suggest that you only to give nudges and allow people to operate according to the incentives you've laid before them. And it's up to governments to lay out the incentives that work to government's favor. Anyway, back to this case, just to show a conspiratorial way this would be done. They have an impressionable kid on SSRI's that visits a gun range. <Side anecdote, I went to a gun range outside of DC in my teens and I was approached by strangers there that wanted to chat about my political beliefs (I had LP license plates on my truck) - not saying they were agents, but they looked like agents. I even made friends with a guy and we'd meet up there to shoot together until he got too pushy and got angry at me for missing some times that he wanted to shoot. Then, he ghosted me entirely and I never saw him again. Could have just been an asshole.> Anyway, they have records of this kid's medical diagnoses, they have records of his range visits and they have records of his online activity. They don't need to ORDER him to do anything, nor do they need to give him the right weapons. The asset will figure that stuff out on his own. They only need to give the proper nudges. "Did you know Trump's having a rally in Butler?" Kid looks up the rally. "I heard the security is so lax at that place - no one's even gonna be watching that AGR building". Agent tracks his phone and sees that the kid is doing recon, so he reports back. They coordinate an opening at the AGR building and let the kid do his thing. Again, not saying this is how it happened, but it very easily could have.

Nah, I said it earlier in the thread... They want to run against Kamala, but they're worried about another shift in candidate at the convention. They know the Kamala thing is going to go bust - the media and talking heads can promote her now, but it'll all fall apart once she has to think on her feet. She'll flub some interview or questions somewhere and then there will be a break of some Dems questioning whether she's really the best nominee to beat Trump. And then others will join. They'll start to talk about making it an open convention to allow the delegates to "vote their conscience in the most democratic way to ensure democracy". That's when the sleeper comes in (I'm STILL saying Michelle, but Hillary or even Susan Rice will do) to be drafted. All of this will happen in the next month. The GOP knows that Kamala will have a better chance at the convention if she's the incumbent. They also know that the Dems are unlikely to invoke the 25th, but it puts pressure on them to keep defending Kamala. You can trust that the political consultants on the GOP side have recommended this strategy.

Yeah, this is the push polling to show the enthusiasm. We'll see if it holds. Remember, she's there to stop the down-ballot bleeding. If she can do that, they may actually end up running her as a sacrificial lamb for the party. She's only got to retain these numbers for a month. After the convention, it'll be alright for the crash.

Interesting. I kinda lost her being in the mix. I remember she got tainted with the Benghazi thing, but I haven't followed where she's at now. She does have the close ties to Obama and she's not an idiot like Kamala. I suppose that she could still be a possibility if Michelle really doesn't want it.

Lol - there are going to be so many twists and turns before November. Trump's base is pretty well locked in, but we're just getting started with the mayhem they're planning to unleash. Back in 2023, I started warning that this election year was going to surpass the covid/racial strife hysteria of 2020 and sadly I'm not disappointed. So far, we've had felony convictions, an assassination attempt and a silent coup. But we're only getting started...

Man, you're really getting out there. As much as it can be useful as a coping mechanism, these factions don't operate in alignment with one another. They fight like dogs amongst themselves for power. And eventually, one of them succeeds. You don't really need everything to be some wide-scale coordination when their own personal incentives will suffice. Even the Democratic party doesn't operate with unanimity. There are all sorts of internal struggles and gamesmanship going on. You may be right about where this will all end up, but there isn't some mastermind out there controlling it all. These people have skills that allow them to navigate power structures, but they're not very good at controlling things. It's a series of fuck-ups and CYA's.

No. I mean, I'm sure there are some legal restrictions, but they have lawyers to get around all of that. Does anyone really think that if there's a new candidate (ahem, Michelle), that they'll somehow return all that donor money? Yeah, it will never happen.

Just remember, you haven't been seeing this quite correctly. You were certain that Biden would be the nominee to ensure a Trump victory. Like I said, it's hard to know for sure what's going on, but the way it looks to me is that they removed Biden from the public so they could issue his letter to the world. He was probably unaware of what they were doing until it was too late. I don't think they'll off him, but I do think they're working him over to make sure he knows to follow the party line. As for Kamala, I'm pretty sure this is another head fake. If the party can control public perception enough to save the down-ballot races, they may let her stay the nominee. But if I'm right, that's going to fall apart after a few public appearances and maybe an interview or two, and then they'll open the convention to the Draft Michelle movement (or maybe even Hillary). In any case, we're being presented with a show and we're trying to predict how it will unfold. The truth is that since Trump cheated better than Hillary in 2016, the whole establishment power game has gone haywire. Lockdowns, racial strife, wealth transfers, stolen elections, framed for treason, lawsuits, indictments, convictions, senility, assassination attempts, silent coups... The ruling class is playing House of Cards competing over the power and the people of the world pay the price.

Don't you remember when Julius Caesar was stabbed in the back by his Senators and Rome banned blades of all sorts?? (actually what happened is the assassination backfired and triggered a series of Civil Wars which eventually led to Octavian (Augustus Caesar) to assume the throne which marked the end of the Roman Republic and the beginning of the Roman Empire.)

It's hard to know what to think. But don't worry, pretty soon our programmers will tell us everything we are allowed to know. Seriously, I'm not a Russian historian, but I've read enough Soviet history to know how this feels. They attempt to assassinate a candidate - after impeaching him, framing him for treason, suing him, indicting him and convicting him. Then, a week later, the "President" gets swept away and we get a letter posted that he's not running for re-election and then we haven't seen or heard from him since. The new puppet has a single speaking engagement to read off a teleprompter with zero questions. In the meantime, the head of the Secret Service testifies all day about how 'mistakes were made' and she's 'taking responsibility' but doesn't quit and doesn't admit anything. I suppose this is what it was like living in the Soviet Union. Surreal.

Not necessarily. That's the standard bureaucratic dodge to avoid accountability. They have so many agencies responsible for each tiny little part so they can all avoid accountability for the ultimate result. It's a team effort. ;)

erowe1, are you seriously taking the position that cops are "innocent until proven guilty"? Or are you just messing with people here to see if they are parroting what they've been told without thinking about it?

Mind you, I'm not talking about the not-so-subtle "Let's lynch 'em" attitude. I tend to think that's a bad idea, even if I philosophize in weird directions sometimes (its part of my efforts to stay sane while surrounded by statists IRL, give me a break). But, there is a difference between saying "we shouldn't condone harming X for Y or Z reasons" and saying "X is actually innocent."

Note, also by "innocent" I don't even mean morally sinless, I just mean per the NAP. I'd honestly be shocked if there is a single cop who's been on the force for more than a week who isn't an NAP violator. Do you disagree?

Thanks for the sermon. Good stuff. I passed it on to my parents. My dad's a pastor so I'd love to see him converted to the view of Romans 13 that you take or a similar one.

Just out of curiosity, how well received was that message in your church?

Thanks. One of my brothers in Christ who I respect and love told me that a Christian man should spend more time with his brothers than people in the world. I was spending so much time on the forums with these unbelievers, and when he said that, I was extremely convicted. There is nothing like spending time with brothers who build you up in the Lord and sharpen you.
