As a exotic fish and not-so-common-as-a-pet small creature enthusiast...
Please don't put a betta in a blender. They need at minimum 2.5g, not those shitty small-ass "betta keepers" you see sold at pet stores, and I think a 2.5g is way too small even for one anyway. They also require a carnivorous diet (most flakes are horrible for them) and must not be OVERfed, a stable warm temperature (room temp won't cut it, unless you live in a more tropical location), and frequent water changes if you do not use a filter, especially in a smaller tank. I recommend changing at least once a week for a 5g, and 2-3 times a week if using a 2.5g.
I own exotic hermit crabs... really sad how pet stores promote wrong care information for bettas as they do with hermits! :( I cringe when I see parents letting their children take home hermits in one of those plastic, metal-wire "hermit crab hotels."
