Both. ISIS leadership is made up of two groups, former Republican Guard members sent into exile when the US invaded Iraq and Syrian rebels trained under Obama.

So what about the US military program that has been arming Syrian rebels? There were two programs, one ran by the US military and one by the CIA with only one of them has been ended.

Exactly. No matter how much you wish Article 1 Section 9 referred to immigration it does not. All in perspective. From the perspective of those in country it is importation. From the perspective of those being forcibly moved, it is migration. Migration can be voluntary. It does not necessarily need be voluntary though. Nothing about either the definition fo the word or teh concept it refers to has anything to do with being voluntary or not. I love it when Big Government Progressives like yourself are exposed for the frauds you are. Every historical source, every political opinion, every argument is against you and still you troop on. That kind of determined dedication to ignorance of facts, economics, and history would be amazing if it weren't so astoundingly tragic.

It is the Atlantic Slave Trade, you know when Africans were taken from Africa and forced to migrate to America in order to be slaves? Now I'm beginning to think you don't have a basic grasp on history either. Or maybe you don't understand the definition of the word migrate? Migrate: (of a person) movement from one area or country to settle in another. The slaves migrated because they were brought to the US form other countries and they were imported because the states imported them to be used for work.

Nope. But Social Security, Medicare, and military pensions are all violations of the Constitution.

Well, you've demonstrated that you don't understand the Constitution, anarchy, fascism, or liberty. So perhaps you should just stop calling them "like see them," because that hasn't been working out for you so far.

Well said. It is sad that so many have such a basic misapprehension of liberty that they cannot even understand the difference between the Constitution and fascism. They think slavery is liberty. It is a vicious form of groupthink collectivism.

You're demonstrating a distinct incomprehension of the US Constitution. Article 1, Section 9 is an obsolete provision that was designed to protect the slave trade from congressional restriction for a period of time. Don't take my word for it. Even the Heritage Foundation, an organization well known for its anti-immigration policies, explains that Article 1, Section 9 applies only to the Atlantic Slave Trade. Link: http://www.heritage.org/constitution/#!/articles/1/essays/60/slave-trade The only way you could get that Article 1 Section 9 is about immigration is if you either 1) Read it completely out of context and foolishly thought you had found your AHA! moment but didn't actually do any studying about what you were reading, or 2) Believe in the "living Constitution" argument, a Progressive ploy to essentially nullify all meaning in the US Constitution so they can make it mean whatever they want and thereby justify any big government program. That either of these spawned your erroneous interpretation suggests you might want to reevaluate your other positions for such serious flaw sin judgment.

No, illegal immigrants have come to America in the past because it had a better economy. But they always left again as they came here to make money instead of permanently settling. The reason they now come and stay is because when forced to make the choice by an increasingly militarized US border that prevents easy coming and going, they've chosen to stay for higher wages. And you can call facts "nonsense" as you wish. But that doesn't change that they are facts and your argument is nothing but anti-free market Big Government Progressive babble.

Adhering to the basic philosophies of Thomas Jefferson, federalism, and the US Constitution are "anarchist ramblings"? Thank you for demonstrating exactly how your ilk has no understanding of the ideals the USA was founded upon, Natural Law and individual human liberty. Anything that limits government in any way is always "anarchist" to you Big Government Progressives. Immigration "enforcement" has created MORE illegal immigrants, not less. Illegal immigration used to be largely confined to three states -California, Arizona, and Texas- and temporary- Mexican males would come to the US, work, and the go back to Mexico. As immigration laws have militarized the border more and more illegal immigrants were and are being forced to choose between going back to Mexico or staying in the US, and they have largely decided that it was of greater worth economically to stay in the USA. You can't argue with more money and more jobs. And further, now stuck in the US these immigrants had no need to stay mostly near the US-Mexico border, so they spread out all across the country. The end result of militarizing the border has been increases in permanent illegal immigrants and the wider spread of illegal immigrants to every continental and contiguous state of the Union. And of course neither Trumps $25,000,000,000+ wall nor tighter border regulations will have any effect on nearly half of illegal immigrants in any way.

People have the capacity to reason. You don't need to always show them the whole thing. A strong statement telling them that they are wrong is often all you need to do. Then they do the rest, at least when the other person can think.

If they're feeling like idiots, they will feel bad. Feeling bad makes people try to do something different to feel better. So they might just go ahead and think and stop being idiots.

If you can't "let it pass" then that is your problem. You should resolve it through private messages. When you use public threads you make it everyone else's problem. Just use your head is all.

IQ Ratings Are Fake Science

by PierzStyx on 06-23-2017 at 01:23 PM
First, here though are a few sources demonstrating how racist arguments based on IQ are stupid.

Second, anyone who seriously believes in "IQ" ratings has already proven themselves so ignorant they probably shouldn't be commenting on anything.

Rand Paul Is not Ron Paul

by PierzStyx on 03-27-2017 at 12:30 PM
Here are some areas where they differ, even if slightly:

Russia: After Russia invaded Ukraine last year, Rand Paul called for sanctions against the invading nation. Ron Paul warned against that, saying it could sink the U.S. dollar.

The NSA: Ron Paul wants the National Security Agency eliminated. Rand Paul says he's more interested in reining it in.

NSA leaker Edward Snowden: Rand Paul thinks Edward Snowden should receive a light punishment—such as a
