Well, that didn't last long: Big lawsuit against Biden's student debt cancellation gets shot down in less than a week It seems that a plaintiff will have to prove that someone else receiving debt relief will harm them. But wouldn't that be any taxpayer?

In the US, it's going to be about which group is more energized: those upset over Democrats incompetence about the economy, or those upset about the overturning of Roe and Republican attempts to legislatively outlaw or severely restrict abortion. If you look at the pro-life forces in Italy, you don't find them running on an end to abortion. You find them running on policies which provide handouts to encourage single and economically disadvantaged women to carry pregnancies to term and support them after they've done so. That isn't the approach in the US. In fact, that's part of the marketing that pro-choice forces in the US point use about pro-life Republicans: that they're not pro-life, they're anti-abortion. In Italy, abortions are available up until 90 days no questions asked. And they're available after that for cases involving the health of the mother and fetal anomalies. What's more, abortions are publicly funded for anyone who qualifies for free medical care. From what I've seen (though maybe I haven't seen enough), neither side in the debate is looking to change that. Here's the catch though: doctors are not compelled to provide abortions, and 80% of them refuse to do so - which makes it difficult to get an abortion in Italy. Edited to add: Of course, Italy also has a declining population, so it's really easy to back handouts which encourage woman to have children. That's not the case in the US; and providing handouts to single and disadvantaged women to have children just subsidizes the creation of more Democrats, right?

So, I find myself consuming information from a right-wing Indian website - because Swordie recommended it. But Swordie, in the interests of nodal analysis (because I like to know who/what is trying to shape my opinions), how is it that you first found yourself viewing this Indian website? Who or what drew you to it? I did a search on Ron Paul Forums for "tfiglobalnews" ... and this thread seems to be the only one you reference the TFI Global News website in, so I imagine it's probably a new site for you as well (or is it that you've been following it for a while and just didn't post anything from it). I'm just interested in how you came upon it. It is kind of interesting to browse it and look at right-wing politics in India - and you kind of need to keep in mind that the articles are skewed to the local Indian political perspectives. It makes one wonder what local Indian political battles they're trying to shape American opinion on. Or maybe it's "English-speaking" opinion they're trying to shape ... US, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, etc.. Their YouTubes are in Hindi, so the English basis of their "Global News" does indicate an attempt to extend influence into English-speaking audiences. Some background: TFI Global News is part and parcel of TFI Media. The founder and CEO of TFI Media is Atul Mishra. TFI is an acronym for "The Frustrated Indian"

Here's something to keep it in the public's eye as election day approaches: Indiana abortion clinics reopening after judge blocks ban ... and yes, it's getting played up in Democratic politics - keeping the whole topic on max volume approaching election day.

Yeah, Democrats are having a great time with it. But they say all politics is local, and the GOP within South Carolina's legislature recently went through a failed attempt to put a near total ban on abortion in Graham's state. Might there any connection between the two? South Carolina Senate fails to pass near-total abortion ban after GOP lawmaker filibuster The abortion debate has been re-opened and is being fought in 50 different state battles, each of which is going to bubble up and cause impacts at the federal level. And it's no longer the absolute pro-life/pro-choice debate - because neither of those can prevail. It's going to be about the murky, unprincipled middle: how long after conception can they be performed, rape exceptions, incest exceptions, life of the mother exceptions, how much can the state muddle in your medical affairs. And each of those 50 debates will be heard and reacted to nationally. The butterfly wings flapping in South Carolina and Indiana are going to impact the races in Ohio and New Hampshire and everywhere else. There are now 50 times as many opportunities for the discussion to get started as there used to be - and each started discussion is going to snowball into a nationwide debate. Voters in New Hampshire are going to be debating what those horrible Republicans did in South Carolina (and we have to keep them out of office here, or they'll do the same thing).

With Roe gone, there's no longer a federally-protected right of privacy with respect to what transpires between you and your medical providers - that's left to the state you reside in to protect. So, depending upon the state you live in, a court order may not be necessary to get access to your medical information. Even with Roe, though, you often heard the phrase "where the state has a compelling interest" used to allow the state to step in (like during the third trimester or when the fetus was viable). And many states define the welfare of a "child in the womb" to be a compelling interest to the state. One of the "features" of Obamacare was its mandate for improvements in the way laboratory test results are exchanged and transmitted to electronic health records (EHRs) - ostensibly to ensure a medical professional providing care to a patient would have access to all of that patient's medical history. The drawback to that is that without a guarantee of medical privacy, that federal database could probably be legally accessed by law enforcement. With Democrats in charge, I could even see it being utilized on background checks for firearms to validate whether the applicant was telling the truth on the "have you ever used illegal drugs" question.

Are prosecutors routinely sampling hospital stool samples? If so, under what authority? Where else are they allowed to collect samples from: doctor's offices, laboratory sites like LabCorp, dental offices, the sewer line running out of your house, your diaper service, your garbage? What else are they sampling: urine samples, routine blood tests, biopsies, discarded biological waste from hip/knee replacements?

If the Daily Mail is correct, they're not rules yet - though they are proposed measures which would be implemented if the country is forced to ration gas due to the Ukraine War. ... so I'll be interested to see what kind of reaction, if any, there will be from the Swiss public in the days leading up to September 22nd decision. Where do you think the public might draw that line before they voice public opposition? Or will they feign compliance while personally resisting (buying wood or propane on the black market)? Are the Swiss really dialed into the socialist "common good"?

Appropriate metaphor. Both have fading memories of their wonder years back in the 20th century. Both think throwing money at a problem is the best way to solve it. Yes, the Cowboys are definitely America's Team.

Here at RPF, we don't promote every conspiracy theory - merely the ones we've been made aware of. If there's anything that Ron Paul followers know, it's that bad things don't just happen; bad things require dark and insidious forces acting in concert and in secret to make them happen.
