I grew up about 30-35 miles south of Lake George. It's a good place to go prior to Memorial Day and after Labor Day; but stay away during the peak season unless you like crowds. There's the lake itself - swimming, canoeing, kyacking, water skiing, parasailing. And there's the Lake George Steamboat Company if you'd like to tour the lake in the Minnehaha paddleboat. At the south end of the lake is the restored Fort William Henry ... which you may recall as the British fort that the French set ablaze in "Last of the Mohicans". If you like hiking up mountain trails, there's a lot available. Prospect Mountain is on the southwest end of the lake and overlooks the village. It's has a moderate to high level of difficulty - rather steep in spots, and the trail at the bottom can best be described as a boulder strewn gully. But you can also drive to the top for a small fee (or park halfway up and then hike the top half of the mountain). There's also numerous other trails on the east and west sides of the lake. There's a number of Adirondack museums (included in this list) within an hour or so of Lake George - my favorite is the one at Blue Mountain Lake. And if you go there, then you might want to consider hiking Blue Mountain (really great views).

One really positive thing is that it allows those who have been convicted of state charges in the past to get their lives back:

There are some areas where Republicans are not Libertarian allies - and this is one of them. This legislation passed without the support of a single New York Republican legislator (Assembly or Senate). I've just started going through the list of the Republicans to see what the opposition was about - so far it doesn't seem to be centered on the excessive taxation, but rather on detection of Marijuana intoxication (for law enforcement purposes: driving, reckless endangerment, etc.) and the other traditional, age-old arguments against legalization

I don't know what was going through Biden's mind when he got an "Attack Dog" - you know, the breeds that are used by police, the military and private security firms. There are many breeds that are just fine: they play, are good with children and only make a lot of noise when strangers wander near the home. But these "attack dogs", I mean, it's obvious that no one should own them unless they're in a profession that requires their use (like the police, military and private security firms). I'm surprised that anyone can get a dog like that without registering and getting the appropriate training. I don't want to take away the rights of dog owners like Biden, but come on man, something has to be done. See: If We Talked about Animal Control like Gun Control

Take this for what it's worth: I went through 15 rounds of BCG treatments, over the course of 15 months, for my bladder cancer. They fill your bladder with 100 ml of the BCG vaccine; and while prone, you rotate every 15 minutes for 2 hours to ensure it reaches all the cells of your bladder lining. Then it's like pissing nitric acid when you expel it. It seems to have done the job for me as I've been verified as tumor-free for three years; and actually, it'll be four years (fingers crossed) once I have my next cystoscopy in a couple of months. That said; if BCG provides protection against COVID-19, I would have expected that I'd have gotten a bigger response to the first Moderna jab about four weeks ago - kind of like people are routinely getting with the second Moderna jab, due to the "priming of the immune system" that the first jab initiates. But I didn't; the only side effects I noticed were some slight site injection pain and some light-headedness. Just anecdotal data for consideration.

I don't exactly remember. But it wasn't scientific, it was an opinion.
