Those are generally ignored because those shootings don't (usually) happen to Americans. They happen to Niggas. Nigga Land is basically its own autonomous entity that exists within the US, and though much of the land use overlaps, the Niggas belong to a completely different political system, with different rules, laws, and cultures. Ukraine has a right to defend itself, but it does not have a right however to "not be invaded by another country". They gave up that right when they invaded DPR/LPR and began murdering innocent people there. If there is such a thing as a "righteous war", the Russian war against these Nazi's is about as righteous as one could possibly expect.

Ukraine has the right to defend itself. Even the lowest forms of evil (which Ukraine is) has the right to defend itself. But are the actions of Ukraine "commendable" (Rand's words) ?? Far from it. And Massie's statement about Ukraine's "right to self determination" is just hilariously ironically ignorant for anyone who knows the facts. Ukraine lost their right to self determination, 8 years ago, when they denied the same right to DPR/LPR. In 2014, after the Maidan coup, the DPR & LPR seceded from Ukraine. The Donbass area is culturally and ethnically Russian and they always have been. They had every right to secede, and Ukraine had no right to stop them.

Mass shootings are the results of mental health disorders. If you want healthy people, you need to have a healthy society. We do not have a healthy society. (not even remotely) For a healthy society, people need to be treated like grown adults capable of making their own decisions, and not serfs, slaves, subjects, or tax cattle. Recovery begins, with secession.

It's unfortunate that so few libertarians have any clue what's going on in Ukraine. They arrive at the correct decision anyway (the US should mind its own business) but I am still somewhat taken aback at the total apparent lack of critical thought on the mainstream narrative amongst the libertarian community. Basically summarized as Ukraine's fight against Russia is "commendable" (Rand's words) I don't fault them for being ignorant, but if you don't know what you're talking about its better to keep your uninformed opinions to yourself.
