I saw in yesterday's game that Ginobili is the second oldest NBA player. Oldest is Vince Carter. I didn't even know Carter was still playing. Another graphic said Ginobli is 3rd all-time in playoff 3-pointers. I guessed Ray Allen and Reggie as 1-2, but James is actually second (never would have guessed that). I think this is the last game the Spurs win. Guessing their tank is probably empty.

Related article I read today: Censorship And Suppression Of Free Speech Online Is A ‘War Against Ideas’ http://www.shtfplan.com/headline-news/censorship-and-suppression-of-free-speech-online-is-a-war-against-ideas_04232018 Propaganda has TWO major parts. Most of us pick up on the "Repeat the Lie" part, but there is another major half of Propaganda for it to work, and that is to OMIT any ideas which reveal the lie or promote / teach thinking for ones self. Belief, Money, Violence A persons system of Belief can be used to enslave them just as well as it can be used to Liberate them. If the voices of those who use their words to Liberate the minds of others while only allowing a subject to have access to is ideas that Enslave them, what is the likely outcome? Propaganda is used to empower smaller groups or individuals to control entire groups.

Agree. "Do No Evil" is just as deceptive as putting the face of Andrew Jackson on the $20 fiat currency bill when his epitaph is "I killed the Bank", referring to the 2nd Central Bank of the US. Data on people is the ability to control people, thus, Data is a New Currency to be exchanged between the elite and powerful.

Google on the other hand doesnt care if you have a Google account, but look at how hard they push you to have a Google account. Facebook is one website people go to. Google is one step higher, writing the software that serves many websites and other "free tools", like WP or Google Analytics. Due to the use of Google tools, Google phones, Google browsers, Google has the ability to collect an order of magnitude more information than Facebook. Much like Amazon is positioned not to take place in the market but to be the ENTIRE market, Google is positioned to BE the internet as almost everything runs on Googles "free" stuff.

"...part of anti-government group." What group is that? And what kind of grammar is that? Do they mean he is part of an anti-government group? If so, then which one? Where is the word "an" or "the?" Was this written by somebody speaking Japanese, a language that often skips such words?

Danno, no disrespect to you, but I have to ask, are you trying to convert the Ron Paul people on this forum over to supporting Trump? Cuz, that's probably not going to happen. IMO, that would just be a waste of time, people on here are not as prone to being sold a false bill of goods. I gotta admit though, it is kind of fun watching you do the verbal gymnastics in trying. Edit for grammar.

Line of political correctness/common courtesy considering the timing. Granted it is tame and just republishing old quotes is not overtly offensive. It certainly brings ratings for media, Stormy interview brought record viewers to CBS. There is also too much spin, counter spin.. who knows where this is heading. This is today's front page of a "pro Trump" outlet. Under attack, FBI has become partisan battleground... President casts doubt on legality of special counsel... Lashes out at NYT over Cohen coverage... Doesn't think will 'flip'...

Is this sharp tone and bluntly calling us liars due to Trump's tariffs policy? As if Iraq was not enough, they’re lying about Syria to wage war now Yonden Lhatoo says the US and its allies have not only learned nothing from their disastrous invasion of Iraq, they’re using the same kind of lies to justify the same mistakes they’re making all over again, this time in Syria PUBLISHED : Saturday, 21 April, 2018 “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it,” the old and oft-repeated aphorism goes. Well, in this age of unreason, we remember the past all right, but we’re completely cavalier about repeating the mistakes of history. Learning lessons is for wimps in the new world order.

https://yro.slashdot.org/story/18/04/21/1634237/many-amazon-warehouse-workers-are-on-food-stamps Many of Amazon's warehouse workers have to buy their groceries with food stamps through America's Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, reports the Intercept. In Arizona, new data suggests that one in three of the company's own employees depend on SNAP to put food on the table. In Pennsylvania and Ohio, the figure appears to be around one in 10. Overall, of five states that responded to a public records request for a list of their top employers of SNAP recipients, Amazon cracked the top 20 in four. Though the company now employs 200,000 people in the United States, many of its workers are not making enough money to put food on the table... "The average warehouse worker at Walmart makes just under $40,000 annually, while at Amazon would take home about $24,300 a year," CNN reported in 2013. "That's less than $1,000 above the official federal poverty line for a family of four." In addition Amazon uses temp workers who may also be on food stamps, notes the article, adding that in 2017 Amazon received $1.2 billion in state and local subsidies, while effectively paying no federal income tax.

So confusing, up till few months ago coffee was good for health: Coffee requires cancer warning, California judge rules by Associated Press / Mar.30.2018 LOS ANGELES — Scientists haven't rendered a verdict on whether coffee is good or bad for you but a California judge has. He says coffee sellers in the state should have to post cancer warnings. The culprit is a chemical produced in the bean roasting process that is a known carcinogen and has been at the heart of an eight-year legal struggle between a tiny nonprofit group and Big Coffee. The Council for Education and Research on Toxics wanted the coffee industry to remove acrylamide from its processing — like potato chip makers did when it sued them years ago — or disclose the danger in ominous warning signs or labels. The industry, led by Starbucks Corp., said the level of the chemical in coffee isn't harmful and any risks are outweighed by benefits.
