More like "I am apt to lose re-election if I keep this shit up" is winning. But it remains to be seen if it is still winning months from now - or weeks from now - or even just days from now. And if he does make it past the 2020 election, all bets are off ... Of course he's considered it: "take the guns first," bump stocks, opposing court challenges to accessory regulations, "red flag" laws, etc. Only the most ridiculously grotesque of Trumpsplanations can even begin to attempt to account for those things while simultaneously trying to maintain that Trump is not a liability to gun rights (let alone that he is a defender of them).

LOL. So let's see what we've got here ... 1. An unidentified "senior U.S. administration official" 2. An unnamed "intermediary" 3. An anonymous "aide" 4. An anonymous "person" And not a single named or verifiable source. Yeah, okay ... (in some circles, this is alleged to be "journalism" - but it might as well be fiction, for all the difference I can see ...)

And again, one could say exactly the same thing about Trump vis-à-vis Red Flag laws - i.e., it is far from being the only troubling thing about him (though fortunately, this is much more the case for Trump than it is for Rand). Likewise, just the threat of Red Flag laws cedes leverage on the "Overton Window" to the gun grabbers ... Indeed, Trump himself, with his various appointments (such as Bolton, to name but one), has given the "Neocons and deepstate" far more aid and comfort than Amash could ever hope to do, even if that was Amash's conscious and deliberate intent (which I do not for a moment believe is the case). On this, we will simply have to disagree. Trump is not and never was going to be impeached.

One could say exactly the same thing about Justin Amash and impeachment (which is far less likely than Red Flag laws to go anywhere).

EM. Congressman Amash could also be threatening them with cut off of $38 B worth of Spinach feed supply controlled by US Congress, so in a a way that can be seen as intervention in their feeding (speaking metaphorically). So it's easy to understand why many Israelis and even some America-First supporters of Israel could be offended by this Christian Congressman's statement about the Democratic Jewish State that happens to be our closest ally.

Yes, I would. Because words have meanings. I might disagree with him and criticize him harshly for saying it, but I would not accuse him of interventionism on that basis unless he actually intervened or advocated for intervention. Amash has done neither of those things in this instance. As for your parenthetical concerning "vague threats" - I am not seeing any threats (vague or otherwise) in Amash's remark. He said, "Israel should do X, and U.S. relations with Israel will be harmed it they don't." To continue my spinach analogy, this is no more a threat than saying "You should eat your spinach, because you won't grow up strong if you don't." But even if one insists on choosing to interpret that statement as a "threat" nonetheless, it is still not any kind of "interventionist" threat.

Ilhan Omar slams Ted Cruz for attacking her Israel comments without acknowledging synagogue shooting Bailey Vogt The Washington TimesApril 29, 2019 Rep. Ilhan Omar chastised Sen. Ted Cruz Sunday for resurfacing her “anti-Semitic” Israel comments but has yet to acknowledge the Poway, California, synagogue shooting. Ms. Omar, Minnesota Democrat, then shot back, criticizing the senator for condemning her comments, saying he has yet to condemn an actual attack on a Jewish synagogue Saturday. “A white nationalist literally terrorized a synagogue during Passover yesterday and you have yet to say anything. Shame on you,” Ms. Omar tweeted. Ms. Omar offered condolences Saturday for the victims of the California synagogue shooting that left one person dead and three injured. The suspect in the deadly shooting, 19-year-old John T. Earnest, turned himself into the police shortly after the attack. Ms. Omar has faced accusations of anti-Semitism since criticizing pro-Israel lobbyist groups and questioning the loyalty of Jewish lawmakers who pushed back against her criticisms of the Israeli government.

Telling someone, "You should eat your spinach" is not interventionism. I'm not seeing how what he said is really any different, regardless of whether one likes or agrees with it.

So in your world, repeating aka posting here any claims, news in media sourced to people linked with GOP-Adelson's leadership automatically implies 'agreement'? If so, you didn't object to following repeat of statement of MAGA's Deputy AG that is the main topic here, does that mean this was okay but ADL statement is the problem: George is right. Killing random civilians to spread a political message is terrorism. FBI classifies it as domestic terrorism, but “white terrorism” is more precise. Many of the killers are lone-wolf losers indoctrinated to hate through the internet, just like Islamic terrorists. https://t.co/uyyjkoh1fR — Rod Rosenstein (@RodRosenstein) August 4, 2019 https://www.bizpacreview.com/2019/08...imes-in-781548

I like Joe Rogan as a free thinker but his recent hosting of Amy Martin without challenging her stunning claims about MAGA's widely respected Son-in-Law would make him too controversial and even biased for an event where Foreign Policy and mideast wars debt spending would be a major topic. Even Ilhan Omar had not used such language and she was branded an 'anti-semite' by GOP-Adelson's top leadership. Better to find a less controversial America-First mindset person. More friendly figure like Dennis Prager, Candace Owens or Sean Hannity perhaps? Related

GOP extremist conservative Roy Moore's defeat in AL, Syria bombing against Assad's chemical weapons, abortion, DACA, LGBTQ equality, Prison Refoms/Felon voting rights, rapper Rocky A$AP relaese in Sweden, bump stock ban, latest Red Flag laws.. to name a few of her recent wins. Can you cite a single example where Jr beat her in influencing MAGA? Added 'bump stock ban' to the list of Ivanka wins. Trump Bump Stock Ban: Now What? December 21, 2018
