I don't understand why McConnell and people like him are called "RINOs". They are not RINOs. They are 100 percent Republican. It's people like Ron Paul, Thomas Massie, and Rand Paul who are the RINOs. (Hell, Ron Paul has even said openly that the only reason he even ran as a Republican is because that's what gave him the best chance of winning his district.)

Sabotage? Both NordStream Pipelines Blown Up! It appears as if some kind of explosion blew three huge holes in the NordStream I and II pipelines near Danish waters. Massive leaks are showing up on the surface of the Baltic Sea. Whodunnit? Would Washington blow up Russia's pipeline? Germany? Russia? Also today, the Democrats have become the party of war. Finally: Another $12 billion for Ukraine snuck into "must-pass" spending bill. https://odysee.com/@RonPaul:d/sabotage-both-nordstream-pipelines-blown:4 @RonPaul:d/sabotage-both-nordstream-pipelines-blown:4 Who Blew Up The Pipeline? The Plot Thickens! Former Polish Defense Minister Radek Sikorski (husband of US neocon Anne Applebaum) publicly thanked the US government for blowing up NordStream I and II on Twitter yesterday, a move that made even his own fellow countrymen feel awkward. The seeming terrorist attack was less a move against Russia than against Germany. So who did it? Why? Also today, Sen. McConnell rolls over on even more billions to Ukraine. And...is Elon turning his eyes toward Rumble? https://rumble.com/v1lvayu-who-blew-up-the-pipeline-the-plot-thickens.html?mref=jcwo5&mc=2sdbb v1j9526

"Trust the experts" gets filed under "Ignorance is strength". Consider: In the statement "the solution isn't to try to think more carefully", the adverb phrase "more carefully" is an entirely meaningless qualifier. After all, if thinking "more carefully" is not the solution, then thinking less carefully can hardly be the solution, either. And if thinking neither "more carefully" nor "less carefully" can be the solution, then it follows that thinking "at all" can not the solution.

This is normatively reasonable. That does not, however, protect you from parties of the second part. I do not disagree.

Your meaning here is not quite clear. If I sell you my house for $X, you bet that someone can compel me to hand over the property in question, at the end of a rifle, if need comes to that. It is closely analogous. That union over there looks good. I want to join. OK, in order to join, I have these lines to toe. They seem reasonable, so here's my application. I'm in? Cool. <years go by> Wow, I guess I'm in a different space now... I want out. I should be able to leave, so if I am prevented, I am become an effective slave to said union. This is not good.

If one cannot exit, it cannot be a contract. Intent is an element. Once intent is gone, the contract is broken. If the parties of the second part are smart, they will have written into the contract the cost penalties for breaking faith. If not, then they can always sue, but they cannot immediately force the other party to perform - not without a court decree to that effect, and those don't usually come, because after all, what's the point of having an unwilling partner? He shows up, does shoddy work, and ultimately proves a drag on endeavors, so why force such a situation? But this all does indeed raise questions regarding what "contract" really even means, as well as the value of a man's word and hand.

Precisely. This is the corner into which we and our predecessors have allowed ourselves to be painted. We are now in the unenviable position of having to choose the lesser evil. This is OUR fault as much as it is that of those who have maneuvered us here. This is exactly so. Apathy, lassitude, and good old-fashioned bullshit have managed to find us in a most undesirable circumstance, "circum" being an operative term here. A palliative measure, at best, but still better than doing nothing. That said, it will not remain palliative for much longer, given the new patterns arising in the general political circumstance. Between the scum's ceaseless assault on our rights, election tampering, and all the other elements of trespass that now assault us, the window is closing fast.

Up to 4 people, including Alec Baldwin, might end up facing charges in "Rust" shooting https://www.cbsnews.com/news/alec-baldwin-rust-shooting-district-attorney-says-up-to-four-people-could-get-charged-homicide/ Caitlin O'Kane (26 September 2022) A district attorney in New Mexico said she could be close to charging up to four people, including actor Alec Baldwin, in the "Rust" film set shooting that occurred in Santa Fe on Oct. 21, 2021. During the shooting, Baldwin's prop gun was discharged, killing cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injuring director Joel Souza. First Judicial District Attorney Mary Carmack-Altwies made an emergency funding request for $635,500 to continue to fund the investigation of the high-profile case. "We are within weeks, if not days, of receiving the final report from the sheriff's office," Carmack-Altwies said during a New Mexico Board of Finance meeting on Sept. 20. She said while they are still awaiting reports "it's become apparent that we will be potentially charging between one and four people with criminal charges and each of those charges will probably include some variation of our homicide statute."

It is typical of those with a victimization mentality that they (or their team) must always be the biggest victims. Any claims of victimization by others must always be downplayed as being of lesser significance (or denigrated as being of no importance). The problem isn't necessarily that those who indulge a victimization mentality have not been victimized. They might have been. The problem is that they are motivated more by narcissism than by justice. Narcissism values the wrongs done to oneself (or to one's team), and disvalues the wrongs done to others.

IF "government" is properly structured and administered, it can work well. The problem isn't "government" - that has never existed in sť. The problem is people. Always has been; always will be. The greatest way in which the US Constitution fails, and does so most spectacularly, is in holding scoundrels accountable. I mentioned some years ago when I wrote "A Missing Link In Normative 'Government'" how the Constitution left us bereft of sufficient means of defense against corrupt mobsters in the houses of government it established in such cavalier fashion. My suspicion is that the Framers may have assumed we would likely remain as wild beasts pursuant to the preservation of our liberties. Hindsight being what it tends, it is clear they gave posterity too much credit. Being the real problem, people are always the lynch pin. Good people need neither government nor constitution. They know right from wrong and treasure their freedoms. Once corrupted, anything becomes possible and perdition is all but assured and inevitable. All we can do is make of ourselves better men and set into writing Law that renders unto the good men the direct means of physically destroying all tyrants. In the final analysis, murder is the only assurance we have that we will have even a snowball's chance in hell of protecting our sovereign interests. Though wholly out of vogue these days, what with all the contamination of egalitarian thinking that most people appear to accept as some sort of divine, immutable truth, I fully believe in the station of the Superior Man that demands his shepherding of the Weakman. We see first hand what happens when Weakmen are given equal say in matters that affect all men; the world decays before our eyes, in their appalling ignorance, the Weakmen luxuriating in that which they bring forth in such errant proportion that it becomes as filth and poison to the world. And so the Superior man needs to keep the Weakman under control, lest the latter run amok and turn the land to waste. Sadly, the universal tendency has been for Superior men to fall to corruption, in time, such that he becomes as the Weakman, at which point the rotten end cannot be terribly far off.

The Trump support is very real. Don't listen to some of the idiots in here spreading nonsense and not knowing the dynamics of the game. Trump wins especially if high turnout or comes in a very close second in Iowa. He blows everyone out in NH and SC as of today.

Wish it were so but reality is reality.
