Also, the cadre of activists is much larger today than it was then. At the time, Critical Theory was securing its position in the universities, and hadn't yet captured K-12 education, corporate HR & marketing departments, and government entities & NGOs (as it has now).

As I recall, the LGBWHATEVER activist crowd got pissed off at The Silence of the Lambs way back when it first came out, too (especially when it was nominated for and won so many Oscars). They denounced Jonathan Demme (the director), called for boycotts, etc. No way would the movie ever get made today - not without significant changes. Which goes to show that all this sort of thing is not just coming out of nowhere - it's been brewing for literally decades now. It's just now coming to a continuous, rolling boil.

Why NOT unleash one? Turmoil is the politicians game - always has been. Do note how it's always one thing after another, how we are never left in peace now. Does anyone here think this is mere coincidence, or some new necessity of reality? My suspicions come closer toconfirmation by the day: Theye are sowing endless strife and minor chaos in pursuit of the goal of wearing us down - wearying us so that when they finally make THE move, we will no longer care. It is a combination of acclimation to insanity and wearing us out so that we no longer have in us any fight. Consider the starfish. Not particularly strong when compared with a clam, but they are able to apply their meager pressures for extended periods. They latch on to a clam and put just a small pressure upon them. The mightier clam, wel... clams up as the saying goes, and in a couple of hours is exhausted, becomes incapable of further resistance, and succumbs.

That is exactly the problem. The minds of kids (and everyone else) must be broken and reshaped so that they always look at everything through the lens of race, gender, or whatever other "intersectional" categories happen to be to the advantage of the Woke in terms of giving them more power and control. "The question is not 'did racism take place?' but rather, 'how did racism manifest in this situation?'" -- Robin DiAngelo, White Fragility

Exactly this. Biggest part is half is an Invisible Tax, the other half is a Direct Unapportioned Tax. Either way, they end up with everything and we end up with nothing.

I swear the ONLY possible outcome of ANY agenda the people in power are proposing is MASS DEATH. I mean like on the scale of BILLIONS of people. Starvation. Nuclear War. Civil War. Invasion. Alien Invasion. What ever it takes, I swear these people WANT DEATH come hell or high water, and at this point I would not be too terribly surprised if we got both HELL and HIGH WATER.

Dont tell me what to do! :P Yeah, its hard as hell at times. People believe so much nonsense. Perhaps one of the things that makes all their BS easier to spot is there is NO DEBATE when it comes down to the real purpose of Propaganda, which is to suppress the minds of the targets. Hence all the nonsense they repeat. Since it is now without debate, are we hearing debate out of the media that Republicans are not extremists? Vaccines should not be mandatory? Masks work? Printing money good? There is NO DEBATE on ANY of these topics. And just like where I got the TV from in my name when I used to work for MSM as Master Control, the higher ups will FIRE you if you express an opinion that is not in line with the official narrative. My bosses back in the day fired a number of producers for being "known Ron Paul supporters".

Hmmmmmm ... For those of us playing "Present Day America vis-à-vis the Late Roman Republic" bingo, does this qualify as marking off the square for latifundia? (If so, then the square for Lex Agraria might also be filled soon. There have already been signs of this ...)

I'm building a mahogany canoe right now, glassed the outside before it got cold, waiting to do the inside when it stays over 70... Stained to resemble the old Chriscraft mahogany boats, without gunnels, seats and decks the hull weighs about 55# for a 17' x 37". If it doesn't sell I'll fish out of it.

Caryn Ann Harlos - Part Of The Problem #703 On this episode of Part Of The Problem Dave Smith is joined by the current secretary of executive body of the Libertarian Party to discuss the future of the party, the missteps in messaging, and the impact of the caucuses in the party. Before entering politics, Harlos was a paralegal for twenty years, working in document management. Harlos joined the Libertarian Party and the state affiliate in Colorado in 2014. She later served as the Communications Director for the affiliate, Region 1 Representative for the LNC, Historical Preservation Committee Chair, and on the National Platform Committee for the 2018 Libertarian National Convention. She became involved in the Radical Caucus in 2016. On 3 July 2018, at the 2018 convention, Harlos was elected as the 17th LNC Secretary with 372 votes, 56.6 percent of the delegates. The incumbent secretary, Alicia Mattson, received 36 percent of the vote. A month after her election as Secretary, she denounced what she saw as socialists entering the party, asserting that Libertarianism is distinctly separate from both the left and the right of the political spectrum. This occurred about a year after the party had denounced a similar issue with people on the alt-right becoming interested in Libertarianism. Harlos also advocates for an anti-abortion stance within the Libertarian party.

The Trump support is very real. Don't listen to some of the idiots in here spreading nonsense and not knowing the dynamics of the game. Trump wins especially if high turnout or comes in a very close second in Iowa. He blows everyone out in NH and SC as of today.

Wish it were so but reality is reality.
