Oh it's more than a few million. An easment like that means you can't knock the existing buildings down and build new. Which is what usually happens to an older building like that around here. Typically somebody gets bribed and it goes away though.
I don't think the whole thing is a sham. Trump did what they accused him of. So did lots of others and got away with it. Trump chose to go into politics so this came back to bite him in the ass. It is what it is. The valuation of Mar a Lago at 18 million is a sham for sure.
No in Florida they would have to go to court and have it changed. Realistically, in this part of Florida knowing the right people plus a few well placed bribes and it wouldn't be much trouble to get rid of the easment. It happens every day here.
You know, I don't really have a problem with this. States can spend on whatever they want. Nobody is forcing you to live in Michigan and nobody is forcing homeowners to take these people in.
Now if the Federal government starts doing this, I am opposed.
Actually they haven't. Our city in Florida just hired a new cop just to run them off in the downtown and parks. The park I take my kids to used to be full of homeless people sleeping, doing drug deals, smoking weed, I found a condom wrapper on the kids playground etc and now they are all gone. For better or worse, it did work. They have not come back.
Whatever. Bring it on. I think you'll find that the vast majority of the illegals just want a job. Sure there will be some who want to commit crimes but as far as crime wave or invasion? The illegals are massively outnumbered and outgunned. It will be fine.
Just to be clear, I don't think noncitizens should be allowed to buy or carry guns. This is just what I think would happen.
Well yeah, that makes sense. Surety issuers want to be paid back. This case was about Trump overstating the value of real estate. So they are reluctant to let him use real estate as collateral.
It's mostly stupidity. People have convinced themselves they need a $50k 3 row suv for 1 kid or a guy needs an $80k truck that never tows or carries anything but a bag of mulch from home depot. You can buy a perfectly useable new car for $20k that would work for 95% of people's needs.
That's true but Russia has a different system. Their govenrment decides who is allowed to run for election. Perhaps their voting is more transparent than ours, but their choice of candidates is lacking.
At this point you have to accept you will never know the truth about Kennedy. If you don't trust or believe in the government, how can you trust or believe in what they release isn't fake.
Some of you here are being crazy and divisive. I'm on your side. This should not be passed as is. That said there is nothing wrong with taking a specific targeted action against a threat. I'm done, not posting about this anymore.
