Does it ever occur to you that it isn't so much that I want to "tongue the taint" of Trump, as much as it is that I vehemently disbelieve damn-near-everything the MSM puts out these days? So when I see an unprecedented coordination between the courts, the media, and various NPCs (such as yourself) making every possible attempt to dismiss any prospect of fraud in the 2020 election, all reciting the same script and playing cover for a system that is obviously— at this point— plagued by a double-standard in how justice is applied, apparent to even people who don't like Trump . . . yeah, it's bad enough, I'm gonna give Trump the benefit of the doubt. I stopped buying the MSM's bullshit before Trump came along. I won't be buying it after he's gone. You, on the other hand . . .

It's really not that unbelievable, honestly. I'll go with that one. It's no secret that a lot of the old guard don't like Trump. They want to go back to coronating neocons in scripted conventions reading teleprompters, but since 2016 a lot of regular ol' voters have this crazy notion that they actually can choose the president.

If the analogy isn't too hard to follow: It was probably cancelled because the umpire was either a democrat or republican with TDS who can't defeat their unfavored team in an honest challenge, so they had to cancel the game "due to weather". The weather was fine the whole time.

Why do you keep repeating this MSM talking point? If the courts won't even hear a case, you don't get a chance to "prove it in a court of law". Baseball game gets cancelled due to weather, do you just automatically count it as a win for your team?

Whoah whoa there! That's not what I said. "Milei's plan to swap one central bank's fiat currency with another central bank's fiat currency will end in disaster." Argentina is set to do something truly unique and independent, but he'll have them turning over that newfound freedom to the Federal Reserve. It's kinda like how Scotland is always whining about independence from Britain, yet the majority there wanted to remain in the EU during Brexit. I mean, duh. Trading one weak master for a stronger one . . . I guess things must be pretty bad in Argentina if it sounds like a good idea.

I'll add one because I do actually have reservations about it: His plan to replace the peso with the fiat dollar is going to end in disaster (for various reasons, but mostly because he has an opportunity to replace it with something of real value but seems fixated on choosing the US Dollar).

An-cap ideas are popular now? I mean, of all the platforms that would help you get elected, that's not a winner in most countries. Hell, he could have ran on "At least I'm not Peron" and it probably would have worked. He didn't have to dive in with both feet on a still-relatively-obscure campaign message. Most people in the USA think "an-cap" is some sort of headwear. At least in the USA, "I'll give you free ponies" is still the best way to get voters easily. He could have gone with: "I'm better at giving away free ponies." And, if these ideas *are* becoming popular in Argentina, who is to blame for that? How does a country that has lived, breathed, and worshiped socialism for 2-3 generations even learn what libertarianism is? This guy might be the worst controlled opposition ever because he's maybe too good at spreading a message. Let's say that Milei fails miserably in his presidency . . . he's still spent the better part of the campaign season actively trying to convince the Argentinian populace that they don't need politicians as much as politicians need them. That would be the worst kind of people to try to control. I get that there are lousy messengers out there. The message is solid and I fail to see how it helps the elites.

This seems about right. From what I understand, the established 'opposition party' failed to present a candidate and this is one of those situations where the libertarian candidate squeaked into office by process of elimination. But, now the man has center stage, it makes it much harder to just . . . ignore him.

Should be, but will likely find reasons not to be. On the spectrum of miserable: Liberals who burn down their own cities < Libertarians < Old conservatives who think sitting around in lounge chairs listening to speeches and waving flags at rallies is kinda fun

I am of the belief that it's very possibile that they let things happen in early October in order to do what they do now. I do not think they have control of Hamas at this time however. But controlling the situation might be the same thing in the end.

In nature you have two kinds of dangerous animals, one of them advertises their danger the other is aggressive. Israel in this case is the brightly coloured frog. Hamas is the banana spider jumping against the glass of the terrarium 20 times to attack someone on the other side. You are not far off, but I do think you are wrong about the intentions of Israel, they do not want to commit genocide, really, they want peace and stability above all, but they will try to get what they want in the most effective way.

I think the agenda depends on the group. I think I understand a little bit about the region, but I'm not the total expert. Let's start with that. I think the people in Gaza just want to be free mostly, and that's something I understand, you do not choose where you are born. So I think a major part of Hamas is wanting to be free. Now, the organization itself, is about more, about the destruction of Israel, but maybe people join it for other reasons, I think that's quite complicated. Now if we speak about Hezbollah or Iran, they quite clearly do not care about the Palestinians and use them in their (proxy) war against Israel. Syria and Lebanon, really do not care either way too much probably and mostly want to stay out. I think they would rather have a stable economy than another war. Egypt has been quite cool about the whole situation... For me it's simple, I wish the best to any good-willing individual on both sides but I do understand that Israel is trying to take Hamas completely out of the picture. If Hamas would have done strikes strictly on military targets, without executions and the like, I could have had some understanding for that too.

I wouldn't call it a scam. It's more of a worldwide Mexican standoff. Either we continue the standoff or we all die. I think that's the proper analogy.

It's not holidays. And the total trips cost quite a bit more than the plan tickets alone :). Hotels, rental cars, food, entertainment... All costs a pretty penny. It's a hard life traveling the world but it has it's perks sometimes.

As a frequent flyer I am quite happy with this. Flights are already too expensive, I easily spent some 20-25k this year on flights. The same I could have had for half price a couple years ago. Very unfortunate. I am trying to book in time for things so prices are not that bad but a long haul business ticket runs easily 3k these days. Even flights inside Europe. I do not fly the cheap carriers, pretty much only KLM, unless not available, they used to be around 100-150 EURO a piece, now they are usually EUR 250-350. Service hasn't become better. You still get free drinks incl. alcoholic ones, and more if you ask nicely, but on the shortest flight you do not even get a sandwich anymore, but a cookie, quite edible but still, you feel the savings... So yeah... Maybe I'm spoiled a bit, but flying frequently as a passenger, especially if you're a pilot yourself, is a horrible thing when you have zero comfort.

File under: Reason #203,362,694 to get out of the cities. They have shown you that you have no right to defend yourself or others. By being determined to do so if ever faced with such a situation, and by living in jurisdictions where it has been made plainly clear that you do not have any such right to self defense, you are living a life of liability. It is not a matter of whether, it is a matter of when.

An objective assessment and I agree. Messages are not being carried by ideal messengers but they're still important messages to be delivered. Anything to drown out the corporate media narrative is a boon.
