Couldn’t have happened at a worse time. Terror concerns prompt stricter TSA scrutiny of air cargo from five mostly Muslim countriesGrowing concern about terrorists getting a bomb onto a plane headed for the United States prompted an emergency order requiring stricter scrutiny of air cargo by TSA Administrator David Pekoske. Effective Monday morning, all cargo being loaded onto flights at last point of departure airports in five predominately Muslim countries — Egypt, Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates — will be subject to the new requirements. "These countries were chosen because of a demonstrated intent by terrorist groups to attack aviation from them," said a TSA official familiar with the order. "This is all intel driven." https://www.cbsnews.com/news/tsa-emergency-action-stricter-air-cargo-scrutiny-5-predominantly-muslim-countries/

You are mixing up many things here. And because you are mixing so many things together it is making it hard to follow. Noah's son, Ham, had nothing to do with Cain and Abel or the Garden of Eden.

No, exactly the opposite. Please read the rest of that post. I believe the Bible is a letter from God to us. And that is out of context and not what you think it means. It means without both the work of the Spirit and apostolic doctrine, we would remain in darkness. In the context of the earlier verses the text is about "letting abide in what you which you heard from the beginning"(apostolic teaching). We don't trust the Fathers "just because"-we trust them because they have legitimate authority in forming Christianity-. Some because they operated in direct apostolic lineage(we see the creation of clergy with direct lineage in Acts), others because they evangelized (such as my patron saint, Cyrill, minister to the slavs). Still others actually formed doctrine and dogma(Augustine, John the Theologian, etc). And so on.

The scripture above is from the KJV Bible. If you read it, there is nothing in that or the video, alluding to hate or racism or anything like that. God made the six day creation and he said it was good. God made Adam (Et ha adam) on the 8th since on the 7th he rested. Adam became the farmer. It's like what Morpheus from the movie the Matrix said: “I'm trying to free your mind, Neo. But I can only show you the door. You're the one that has to walk through it” ― Morpheus The Matrix

That still does not explain ethnicity. The six day creation makes more sense. Genesis 1:26-27 (KJV) 26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

I've heard the same stats from other sources too. I am totally against illegal immigration, so we are in agreement there. I was just saying that there are lots of countries that are more corrupt than Mexico that no one is talking about... And also to imply that Mexicans in general are the same as the ones who cross the border illegally or come to the US with bad intentions, is simply incorrect. As r3v alluded to, many Hispanic immigrants are very conservative, actually. And love the principles that our country stands for. Of course I'm not talking about the illegals.

Unless I'm reading this wrong… It appears that the total crime rate overall per capita is actually higher in the US than in Mexico: http://www.nationmaster.com/country-info/compare/Mexico/United-States/Crime The homicide rate is higher in Mexico. But I'm pretty sure most of it occurs in Juarez, due to the drug cartels. There is corruption all over the world. In fact, Mexico doesn't even make the top 10 list. I'm not sure how accurate this is, but according to this list they are #91: https://www.ranker.com/list/the-most-corrupt-countries-in-the-world/info-lists

I hope that no one here is judging all Mexicans by the few who who break the law by crossing the border illegally, or the ones involved with drug cartels. That would be similar to judging all Americans by a criminal street gang. I've lived in Mexico for more than seven years, and one of the things I like the most about living in Mexico is the people. In my experience they are very down to earth, respectful, decent people… and very family oriented. But of course people are individuals, and like with any country, you have all types, including good and bad. I'm just sharing my own experience living South of the border. One thing I've noticed is that when you drive in Mexico, at least where I live, people are super courteous and will always let you go first… so different than how it is in the US (in my experience) where people get really nasty on the roads, ha ha. Also, I think I've shared this before, but in all my years living in Mexico, I've been pulled over twice (both times for doing something I shouldn't have done) And both times the cops were super nice and let me go with no ticket. I can't imagine that happening in the US, the way cops are these days.

What’s Behind the Coming Democratic Wave http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2018/01/19/blue-state-blues-whats-behind-coming-democratic-surge/ by Joel B. Pollak19 Jan 2018 Saturday marks the completion of Donald Trump’s first year as president. It has been a year of remarkable accomplishments. So why are Republicans in trouble? Trump signed a tax reform law bolder than the one Ronald Reagan signed in his sixth year in office. He appointed a new Supreme Court justice and set a record for appointments to the federal appellate bench. He rolled back federal regulations and he fulfilled a promise to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, among many other achievements.

Bad medicine went a long way toward killing my father, father in law, and almost killed my mother in law. Depending on whose research you want to believe, 80,000 to 250,000 people die every year from "medical mistakes and misadventures". Sue 'em fucking blind. I'd be in jail if I conducted myself professionally in the same manner.

You believe that the Bible is 99% worthless poo? Not only is that extremely sad, but it doesn't make sense to me coming from a Christian. Don't get me wrong… I believe that God is revealed in a number of ways, not only through scripture. But what is your foundation for Christianity, if you "mostly agree" with osan's rejection of the Bible? No we don't. That directly contradicts a number of scriptures, including: “But you have received the Holy Spirit, and he lives within you, so you don’t need anyone to teach you what is true. For the Spirit teaches you everything you need to know, and what he teaches is true–it is not a lie..” 1 John 2:27

I don't give a shit anymore. The people are either inured to this, want this, or are part of it. I don't want to live in an even more corrupt police state, where bribery, extortion and rotting corpses hung daily from highway overpasses is considered a daily part of life, and then have the same people that brought that here march in the streets and demand that I GTFO and die. Fuck them, I don't care why their shithole countries ended up like that or how to fix it or how to sort out "good" from "bad". Let them piss off back to wherever they came from: this country is broke and full.

There's a lot to be said for that. The illiterate slavs learned from Cyrill and Methodius by way of icons and oratory for a good many years until Cyrill could develop his alphabet to translate the Bible and other documents into Slavonic. And it worked well. These two men are to this day known as "Enlighteners Of The Slavs".

HAHA! I just saw your post in another thread (I was catching up on forum drama) about Mr A putting me on a leash. I don't think he would do that to me if he could. Even though he complains about my oversharing sometimes (not on the forum but IRL. I'm not good at filtering), he knows I'm a good girl and despite my outward personality, I'm a surprisingly solid and committed person underneath. We've been together since I was 23 (24 years/married 20), he knows everything - even stuff he'd rather not know.
