I pay attention to my body. If I consume something I don't normally eat I pay attention for several days to see if I notice some kind of change for better or worse. Either way I want to break it down and find out why I feel better or worse. Just like I would never drink hemlock I would never take a big pharma med when the known side effects is worse disease that what is being treated or, death. If I am going to consider taking something because I am sick I smell it, touch it, burn it, look at it under a microscope, make a tea with it to see what color it turns, put small drops of it on my tongue to see how my body reacts if it passes all the other considerations I take. I pay attention to every ache and pain and don't discount it as just getting older or some other excuse to not track down the cause and eliminate it if possible. If I don't feel good in the morning that means I did something wrong the day before and I find out what it is. I like feeling healthy and good and I do everything I can find what makes me feel healthy and strong by simply paying attention. I promise once you start doing it is not that difficult and does not take up that much time all it takes if getting to really know your own body.

Probably all the gmo foods has caused the body to not be able to metabolize it properly. I haven't personally ever used it. There are so many different types and different uses for the different types that is too complex for my sensitive physiology system. I try to stick with the herbs I know the most about. There is a Chinese herbalist that I use some times but I still study what I take even if I already know a lot about it. I have declined many recommended treatments because my instincts tell me to.

I am part of an electric co-op I could be off grid but I hook into the co-op. Our co-op has one of the largest solar farms in the state and I helped get that going. We try to never let one of our members get their power shut off. We have a pay as you go electric payment plan which is really good we can keep power on for someone out of credit for as little as $10. I recycle my unused power back to the co-op in lieu of payment I have reserve power credit in the event that it rains for weeks. I can also give it to other members of the co-op if they do not have any credits. I wish more people had something like this. I never have to worry about power. I do encourage everyone to find a way to have solar if you have the rays for it. There are some pretty good bateries out there and they are working on a solar/hydrogen hybrid system it should be on the market soon I think. Big oil may not be happy about it but, I am. Every since the 70's it has been my dream to beat the big power companies and I am finally seeing it happen. YEA! I don't know what my taxes are ear marked for. I hear a lot of hollering about roads and bridges. I live on a private dirt road off of a state dirt road and hell we are lucky if they scrape it every now and then. The people who live out here maintain it. We have a few living out here who want to raise our taxes so they will pave the road but raising taxes doesn't go over too well with most of the people who live here. We usually just have a couple of garage sales each year to pay gas for the guy that scrapes the road. One time the bridge at the bottom of the hill washed out and we rebuilt it because there were a lot of people who could not get out and the state made us tear it down and didn't fix it for over a month. Yea taxes huh...

I knew someone was going to say that. So basically what you're saying is, because our system is being subverted and turned into something it was never supposed to be, we should throw out the baby with the bathwater and go to a system that is also going to end up subverted and turned into something it was never supposed to be... Except that in your AnCapLand, you are starting out without a true foundation, but with an illogical, contradictory idea that won't work longer than a few days. Makes loads of sense. :o

Ha ha… That kind of reminds me of a movie I saw recently, about a family that lived in an underground vault for a few decades then finally came out into a completely different world. I can't remember the name of it, but it's with Brendan Fraser. Natural Citizen knows what I'm talking about. :)

Once again, you guys are misunderstanding the objections here. You're still going to have authority, and coercion, so one of the objections is that the type of wonderful anarchy that you guys want is unattainable, it aint going to happen. So if you're going to have "government", it then comes down to what is better… having a limited amount of government for only certain things, and a system of checks and balances… Or an unrealistic system that will inevitably end up as might makes right? That's pretty much Ron Paul's position, do you know more than Ron Paul? Also, my point from the very beginning was that it's never going to happen anyway. So all of this is a waste of time, because it's not going to happen… Unless maybe there's a nuclear war and the majority of the world is wiped out, including all the current powers. But then you're back to the scenario I went over earlier, the type of anarchy you want is illogical, so it will always end up as might makes right. Again, this reminds me of the communists who always insist that communism just hasn't been tried the right way yet! :)

    Hi AntiFed,

I believe it was you who posted a great quote by a political theorist explaining why enforcers were a worse evil than politicians because they enforce bad laws without question. Do you remember this quote and who it was by? (Maybe Chodorov, Chomsky or someone else).
