Wow, that shouldn't have been an approved account. Had to change it.

BTW, thanks for the back story on Car and Driver, I was a huge fan and subscriber back in the 80's. Even got a few silly LTE / Men of Few Words letters printed.

I'm not aware where I have ever supported Trump, if it was viewed as so then it was a failure on my part. What I did support was the fulfillment of an evaluation process that was most fair to all members. I am not an all knowing entity and value our members intelligent. I did extensive work to create a more detailed evaluation system even. The evaluation on Trump did not end positive.

The site won't be a match fit for everyone, for two reasons. 1. We have guidelines that allow for some troll like behavior. This is of value to prevent an echo chamber. 2. I can not perfectly run the site as I'd hope. In all cases, we ask that people report posts and the staff will try to apply the guidelines. That doesn't mean we'll ban at will and threats of leaving won't change our focus on principles first. This matters. In full disclosure, we're had people leave because of you NCL, calling you a troll, but we stood by our process.

Technical limits when putting a post on the front page. Eta, still a good headline to drive the point home.

Thought you'd like to see this. http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=161938

Kudos everyone for faxing, calling and e-mailing your reps.

Now, if you really want to make an impact, instead of coming to DC on the weekend and marching down Constitution Ave. to the Capitol (I had a great time btw) let's organize once more and here's how imo it should go.

    1. Organize in conjunction with DC residents. Those of us in the DC activist community come from many different political persuasions but work together pretty well when it comes to the common interest. Plus we have a lot of collective organizational experience and skill sets.

    2. Converge on DC just like we did before but in the middle of the week this time. Reason? Congress, staffers and MSM go home to the burbs on the weekend. You can bring millions but the impact is severely lessened due to the FACT that nobody's in town.

    3. Line up outside your reps office door at the Rayburn, Cannon and Longworth House Office Buildings and tell their staff that We the People are here to serve notice to Rep. X.

    4. Let your Rep. know face to face what We the People are expecting and that they have been found deficient.

    5. Let your Rep. know that if We the People have to come back again due to said Reps. deficiency, ineptitude, lying, theft and ( fill in your own words) that it will not be on such civil terms. "Sir /Ma'am America is in trouble and if you don't man/woman up then We the People are gonna have to!"

We the People of Washington, DC are just as fed up as the rest of you. We are here waiting for the rest of you to get your tails out to DC and help us make a difference!

Right. I'd love to work with him at his office. But I don't exactly have "office" experience as such.

So what your saying is, they encouraged him to run thinking they could make a profit out of it. Maybe.

"This political train-wreck Republicans face can largely be traced to Bush’s philosophical metamorphosis from a traditional, non-interventionist conservative to the neoconservatives’ exemplar of a 'War President', and his positioning of the Republicans as the 'War Party'."
