Just feeling indecisive about it, and I wanted to give these folks a decent chance at me. But I'm feeling pretty irked nao :monocle:, thus I've already found several other similar places to apply. I reckon I'll have some applications out by the end of the night.

Monday I interviewed for a quite good job. The interviewer was very nice and seemed to like me and my qualifications and whatnot. But still no word yay or nay. :bang: Should I start applying and interviewing elsewhere in the meantime, y'all think? I've spotted some other impressive looking openings the last couple days, and I'm-a getting tired of waiting for an offer. :P #kurwa

Reality is, choosing the lesser evil from among the candidates with enough name recognition to be perceived as being "in the horse race" is beyond not perfect. It's aiding and abetting evil. Working within parameters established by your enemy isn't pragmatism, it's stupidity. Bowing to "dictates" never changed the world, only going out on a limb ever did that. And human nature does respond to seeds being planted; after humans have eaten enough shit to make that seed grow, they can and do change their collective habits. Americans are eating a lot of shit, and somebody's seed is going to grow. You seem to be saying we should stop "wasting our time" planting seeds and let the communists plant all the seeds. Surely I'm misunderstanding you.

Oh, I'm sure if you were to spell out "a more productive direction" we'd all be grateful and enthusiastic. Got one? Because the only thing we've gotten from these seeming lesser evils is creeping tyranny. In the meantime, I'll be happy to stuff your whole post in that quote box, because it (like electing the evil we think might be less evil than the other, nearly identical evil) doesn't change one damned thing.

So we need to go back to trying to use party affiliation to judge which evil is slightly less evil, and bestow power on it? That's not a case of "will no longer work". That's a case of never did work. We tried something different and our first try didn't work. So we need to go back to the same old thing that has been getting us screwed for ninety years. Gee, can we? Oh boy!

Yeah. "They" see the games being played. "They" aren't stupid. We see freedom of association and freedom of religion getting eroded, and possibilities for new lawsuits and even federal property seizures, being opened up. And all under the guise of protecting the downtrodden. They are using the oppressed as an excuse to oppress more people, as usual. We also see people using this forum to make tolerant libertarians look intolerant by using exclusionary language--handy for making our big tent look small. That doesn't mean we have to play along, does it?

Oh. Well. Humans cannot overcome a self-fulfilling prophesy. To be a voice shouting in the wilderness is no way to live. Better to be a sheep bleating in the herd. When the FRN "dollar" crashes, let the Deep State Tools lead the revolution, because positioning ourselves to do it is too depressing. Stay in your lane, comrade! This country has been voting for the lesser evil since Herbert Hoover. And where has that gotten us? The nation was free in 1928. But it could be worse, right? Look at the bright side! Does a cyclone have a silver lining? Quick, count your blessings before they're taken away! Four legs good, two legs better! This place began as a place dedicated to shifting the paradigm, and turned into a paid commercial program for the allegedly lesser evil. Dig a hole for it.

Burying Tulsi Gabbard (and whatever better anti interventionist candidates may show up) in the same profusion of confusion they used to bury Rand Paul. Now there's something to celebrate! Evil Team B! Rah! Rah!

Aren't these the same sheep herder tactics the Deep State is using to rally the Democrats behind their chosen gaff-prone pedophile? Didn't the people of this forum figure out years ago flocking to the lesser evil is still supporting evil? Baaaa!

Oh, lookie here! High school bully tactics based on the premise that allowing yourself to be herded like a sheep increases the odds you'll vote for the winner, no matter how awful the winner is. A textbook example of the methods the Deep State uses to keep us from voting for someone who might represent us. Elections reduced from discussions of issues to name-calling. All the very tactics used over the decades to get us into this screwed position, all rolled up in one obnoxious, low-value, repetitive post! Remember, children! Voting for a winner feels good! So everybody rally around the guy the MSM gives the most attention to, no matter how bad! There's no point in trying to set a precedent that would do the people some good, like a party primarying a sitting president for breaking every single one of his promises. Only losers and dorks and nerds go out on a limb. Isn't that the attitude this place was founded on? Hurrah! Want a trophy? I'm sure the MSM and Deep State have one for you! :trophy: Or, at least, they'd have one for you if your efforts on their behalf had an ounce of subtlety, class or originality.

LOLOL :D Dumbasses. They ought to work on more practical lifeskills like cover letters, resumes, networking IRL, interviewing, etc. Webbernet job profiles are one of the least effective ways to job-hunt anyhoo. (assuming one expects to just throw the profile on the webbernets and get a bunch of offers) Those sites are only useful if you use your jobhunting #lifeskills, which implies a lot of work-same as old-fashioned classifieds.

As an entrepreneur you'd say that. Middle managers in a corporate political zoo probably feel the same way. No wonder the more corporate America gets, the less competitive it gets. People don't go to work to get a job done. They go to play political games. The oligarchy is trying to keep us all stirred up about terrorists, or racists, or immigrants, or whatever the threat du jour is. But when the government chokes small business, it chokes liberty, it chokes prosperity, and it chokes America.

In b4 Zippy comes on duty and tells us a crappy Chinese TV costs less than a 1984 Curtis Mathes. Or some other Bureau of Labor Approved, cherry picked stat designed to distract us from the fact that today's dollar buys only a nickel's worth of beef (because today's dollar is worth a nickel).

The government and federal reserve are worse than that. They don't care how worthless the currency becomes, as they print it into oblivion. They're a classic case of, 'I can't be broke, I still have checks in my checkbook!'

It's just like when cops assume their badges make decent drivers out of them. Government has a bad habit of assuming their authority trumps the laws of biology and physics. Their power also leads them to assume their one size fits all edicts work for everyone. Or maybe they figure everyone who doesn't fit the mold doesn't matter. Power is not conducive to brain power. In fact, power seems to make people stupid. Mother nature has humbled bigger despots than these.

But that's what makes those who are too proud to admit their mistakes such useful idiots. The Establishment doesn't want us to learn from our mistakes.
