So, let's get this straight... You can get cancelled, fired, publicly excoriated, and ruined for refusing to use someone's "preferred pronoun", but if you call someone the bare-faced Nazi embodiment of evil in your comic books, you get rewarded? Man, I'm really gonna need that decoder ring to figure out what they mean by, "equality".

Looks like Trump lost that game of chicken he made believe he was playing against all the Republicans who refused to go along with demands that they not count the electoral votes that he didn't want counted.

More like a sacrificial lamb. They wouldn't want the citizenry to look at the institutions. That being said, I'll lose no sleep if their foot soldiers start taking falls because of their practices. That could lead to some real change... Eventually.

Sorry, man... The way I see it is that the cops got called because a guy tried to pass off a bogus FRN to get a pack of cigs and they escalated it to the point of choking a guy out in front of a crowd. This is a law enforcement issue - not an issue with any particular cop. You can blame the victim for not being subservient enough, you can blame the crowd for getting involved, you can blame miscommunication... But ultimately, the cops turned a weak attempt at petty theft into murder.

Man, take a step back. You're seriously taking the State line on this??! The reason Chauvin "HAD" to keep him in that position is because a poor guy was laid off because of state covid policies, then he tried to swindle a pack of smokes. Then the Keystone Kop agents of the State escalated the situation into putting the guy face down in the street in front of a gathering crowd. And yes, this cop was just doing his job, as evidenced by all the other cops supporting the arrest and methods. I don't think racism had anything to do with this - this is a problem with the enforcement edicts of the State. Agents of the State murdered a citizen. Period. It's kinda sick to break it down to the last few minutes as a justification for why the cops "had" to do anything.

There's also the Finger Lakes wine country in NY and you could visit Watkins Glen. And for a 5 hour trip, you could go to Alexandria Bay, NY and go explore some of the castles in the Thousand Islands region... I was there 2 weeks ago and the ice was almost all melted.

I took an interesting ad hoc road trip crisscrossing NE a couple of years ago... Lake George, NY is cool and you could spend easily spend a few days there. Although, with the Covid nuts, you may want to avoid NY. If you like exercise, I'd recommend Mt Mansfield in Vermont. It's a hell of a climb, but the area is beautiful. Or you could hike and camp in the White Mountains in NH and drive up Mt Washington. You could easily spend a few days in Bar Harbor, ME and Acadia (seemed kinda expensive to me and "resort-ish", but there's plenty to do.) If you're after history, Concord Mass is great. Quaint downtown area and lots of museums and historical sites.

I guess I put this a little more simply... In Arkansas, kids under 18 can't get a tattoo or a piercing. I put "gender reassignment" into that same category as elective body modification. Each state has different rules about what constitutes adulthood for the purposes of personal responsibility - just be consistent.

Even harder to believe that the Ministry of Truth has a loyal following whose minds cannot be unfucked. Not only do they love what they're hearing, they'll pay for it and share it to their other mindless minions. The only reason I share it here is as a testimony to what we're up against. BTW, this is why you can't allow Republicans to forget the debt when they're in power. That whole Trump episode did us no favors. It might have felt good to some for a minute, but the damage should be unmistakable by now.

It would literally take days to contradict every BS claim in that video, which I think is part of the point. The biggest problem is that they get much of their claims right. Especially, when he points out the hypocrisy of Republicans. What they're hiding is that this is a government problem and not a left/right problem.

This is the latest crap being peddled by our pious planners: It's hard to believe they crammed so many half-truths and fallacies into 22 minutes, but they did it. Posted yesterday and already viewed 2.7 million times. It's pretty sick when you have Hollywood production programming the minds of the uneducated into their own demise.

It's crazy what's going on with government/media narratives. We all have viruses in our systems - the studies suggest 5 to thousands at any given time. Viruses are nature's way of spreading information about the world among the population of animals. When we receive novel information, this can be rejected by people with weakened immune systems. But it doesn't mean that the virus is "bad". The virus is just a piece of floating information waiting to be copied and handed off. Most viruses are beneficial, because they provide our bodies with information that allows our immune systems to fight other diseases. But even beneficial information can be harmful if your immune system is weakened. A typical vaccine will introduce the information to your body in a weakened condition so that your body can replicate it with a reduced risk of harm. These new mRNA "vaccines" replicate the spike proteins to fool your immune system into believing it's already got the information and therefore will block your body from replicating it. Understandably, this is a simplification, but you get the idea. For that reason, ONLY the people at risk should be getting the "vaccine". Because we're preventing the healthy portion of the population from sharing the information. That's insanity. Unless, potentially... if this virus was created in a lab and is not a naturally-occurring virus. If that's the case, there may be harm in getting artificial information. But most of the people jumping on the "vaccine" believe this is a naturally-occurring virus, which tells you they have zero understanding of what viruses are or what they do for us. If you are convinced that the virus was created in a lab, you still have the question of if it makes sense to inject and artificial "blocker" to prevent the artificial viral information... In any case, the most important public health policy would be to increase the immune systems of the population through exercise, healthy eating and sunshine. Instead, we're lowering immune systems, with lockdowns, isolation, fear, confusion, and anxiety. The exact opposite of a sound public policy.

This should be an easy one to fight on their terms. Covid passports are racist. Believe it or not, I think this argument is going to be our best bet to quash the Passports.

This is ridiculous. Seems like all the arguments are for how to rename the school - not whether they should be renamed. Thomas Jefferson, while he owned slaves, did more to end the institution of slavery than anyone who has ever existed. Slavery was a part of acceptable human existence until Enlightenment ideas started to take hold. For hundreds of thousands of years, there was an enslaved class of human beings, but within 150 years of Jefferson's Declaration, the institution crumbled. And they really want to consider replacing his name with a man who did his best to ensure we all return to that mindset that took millennia to defeat? This world truly has no concept of historical context.

Thats great. I hope whatever you two learned sticks forever. We're really struggling financially and of course we have other problems, but we're together, pretty happy and have faith that it will be OK.
I forget where you went. Can you tell me about the place? I also wnt to know (if you want to tell me) where you took her on date night. On our date night we went out to dinner and had some horrible conch fritters. NEVER AGAIN on conch fritters. But then we went out to a bar on the beach, and took a moonlight walk. Wound up nekked making love on the beach and got caught by a couple walking by. Allin all it was a great trip. Our's was in Delray Beach Florida.

I do not think your wife would have any problem finding a nursing job up here. My sister-in-law is going back to school just so she can become a nurse and she plans on moving here from Florida, that was the reason for her career change. They have visiting nurses. There are lots of good hospitals like Dartmouth Hitchcock.
