Truth! And the CONstitution was a Hamiltonian coupe to make a strong central government to basically rule the masses.

Sorry brother, but the preamble to the CONstitution makes no statement whatsoever regarding any particular rights being protected nor to whom such rights belong. In reality it's just a simple declarative statement claiming that it was "the people of the United States" who ordained and established the CONstitution, and it provides, in general terms, a statement of the purposes for which that was done. Nothing more. And, in truth, even that's a dubious claim since the overwhelming majority of "the people of the United States" had never even heard of the CONstitution prior to its ratification, let alone been afforded an opportunity to actually read any part of it or digest its meaning.

This has to be a joke, right. So much of what you said is just not true. 1. Marxism is based on a labor theory of value that is just not accurate. Demonstrably, the subjective theory of value reflects a better understanding of human nature. It's why it creates wealth as opposed to destroying it. And it reflects the differences between what people value. Marxism has no concept of that. 2. Marxism DEMANDS that everyone have the same view. Ever notice how non-Marxists get treated by Marxists?! 3. The rich are getting richer, but so are the poor. Your claim that the poor are getting worse is just factually false. Empirical data mean nothing to Marxists. What is true is that the poor in Marxist countries have less ability to escape poverty. And the more that Capitalist countries turn that way, the more harm is done to the poor. 4. The "profit percentage" isn't up to you. (I guess you missed the irony of saying that we don't need to see the world through the same lens, while advocating the whole world adhere to your values.) The "profit percentage" is up to both people in the exchange. Even when you sell your labor to someone, you both profit - otherwise, you wouldn't do it. If you're unhappy about your percentage, find a different buyer or improve your product. That's what "owners" do. (But again, Marxism denies that you are the owner of your own labor.) 5. Marxism confuses gullible and lazy people into thinking they are being exploited. That's a great way to sell books and to incite unrest, but it does nothing to improve the lives of people. If you want greater rewards out of life, the answer is simple - provide more value to your fellow man. You will both benefit. You can complain about "superstructures" but capitalism doesn't require those. It just requires enforcement of private property rights - including your own body and labor. The "superstructures" are created by Cronyists and Marxists. 6. The only "force" required in Capitalism is an enforcement of negative rights. The force in Marxism is literally violence and theft.

So, (and I can't believe I'm saying this), I think we cut Trump some slack on this one. First off, that guy knew what he was doing about as much as the current occupant. If the last person in the room with Trump told him to sign an executive order and made even a slight case for it, he'd do it. I don't think anyone would mistake Trump for a master planner. An easily manipulated pawn - Oh yeah. But he would have been focused on whatever the news was saying about him on that day - not setting up some grand strategy.

Yet another cult of personality is the last thing liberty needs. What IS needed is a sufficiently large group of just normal individuals willing to stand up and act instead of cowering and collaborating. Know where we can find a few like that?

I haven't read that, no. But it doesn't have the ring of truth to me. If it is true though, then it's political suicide for Democrats. Which again is not something that it makes a lot of sense to me that either Biden or Gates would want to do.

“All this havoc, this misfortune, this ruin, descends upon you not from alien foes, but from the one enemy whom you yourselves render as powerful as he is. ... Where has he acquired enough eyes to spy upon you, if you do not provide them yourselves? How can he have so many arms to beat you with, if he does not borrow them from you? The feet that trample down your cities, where does he get them if they are not your own? How does he have any power over you except through you? How would he dare assail you if he had no cooperation from you? What could he do to you if you yourselves did not connive with the thief who plunders you, if you were not accomplices of the murderer who kills you, if you were not traitors to yourselves? … From all these indignities, such as the very beasts of the field would not endure, you can deliver yourselves if you try, not be taking action, but merely by willing to be free. Resolve to serve no more, and you are at once freed. I do not ask that you place hands upon the tyrant to topple him over, but simply that you support him no longer; then you will behold him, like a great Colossus whose pedestal has been pulled away, fall of his own weight and break into pieces.” - Étienne de La Boétie (1548)

Not everybody else, just the ones who comply with the mandate. So by your theory, Biden is trying to kill off all the subjects who obey his orders, and just let the rebellious ones who won't obey him live?

If that rule takes effect, and if they have over 100 employees, and if they still opt not to require vaccines, then that means they'll have to suffer whatever the penalties are for that, by their own choice. It's not like Biden is putting a special exemption for the NBA in his order. I don't see the issue here.

And even that requirement for businesses with over 100 employees is not in place yet. When and if it does take effect (which I'm not convinced will ever happen), we'll see how the NBA and other businesses respond.

The NBA, much like Congress and their staff, are not part of the Executive Branch of the federal government. So why would they be required to take vaccines? I don't see any special privileges or exemptions here. The article even points out that members of teams that are located in places with vaccine mandates will have to get vaccinated.

This goes here: As it was then, so it is still today ... and always will be. Republican politicians have a many decades long, storied history of betraying liberty loving people who make the mistake of actually btrusting them. So don't. The OP is typical partisan drivel.

The message of this essay seems particularly important around here just now. We're going to keep losing our liberties -- and not just to own and carry weapons -- until we get our own logical and ethical ducks in a row. Thats great. I hope whatever you two learned sticks forever. We're really struggling financially and of course we have other problems, but we're together, pretty happy and have faith that it will be OK.
I forget where you went. Can you tell me about the place? I also wnt to know (if you want to tell me) where you took her on date night. On our date night we went out to dinner and had some horrible conch fritters. NEVER AGAIN on conch fritters. But then we went out to a bar on the beach, and took a moonlight walk. Wound up nekked making love on the beach and got caught by a couple walking by. Allin all it was a great trip. Our's was in Delray Beach Florida.

I do not think your wife would have any problem finding a nursing job up here. My sister-in-law is going back to school just so she can become a nurse and she plans on moving here from Florida, that was the reason for her career change. They have visiting nurses. There are lots of good hospitals like Dartmouth Hitchcock.
