"Move to Somalia!" That's the stock reply from statists whenever liberty folks start bitching about taxes and regulations. Their reasoning is, since the government there is collapsed and hopelessly corrupt and ineffective, it should be a perfect fit for all us government hating malcontents and anarchists and individualist and refusenik types. And I'd say, "Sounds great, seems like a perfect idea. Only problem is, the place is filled with Somalis."

So, to reverse engineer the snark out of this post, what you are saying is that the border is NOT secure and migrant caravans ARE making it into the US. Good. All the more reason to do whatever it takes to secure the border and stop the migrant invasion.

Fearing Loose Cannons of Their Own, Democrats Collapse on King Censure Written by R. Cort Kirkwood Democrats who wanted to censure Representative Steve King because he supposedly advocated “white supremacy” during an interview with the New York Times won’t get their way — thanks to Democrats who likely wanted to censure King as well. The reason: King unbosomed his remarks in an interview, outside his capacity as a congressman, and not, for instance, on the floor of the House.

American Railways Chug Toward Automation Jan. 19, 2019 8:00 a.m. ET SYDNEY—Mining giant Rio Tinto RIO -0.04% PLC calls it the world’s largest robot: mile-long driverless trains traversing the sparsely populated Australian Outback on roughly 1,000 miles of track. American railroad companies, seeking to boost network efficiencies, call it the future. U.S. rail-freight operators say greater automation will make their networks safer and more productive. They point to railroads owned by Anglo-Australian miner Rio Tinto as a blueprint for the 140,000-mile private U.S. network that moves vast quantities of everything from cars to corn.

"Dangerous" is subjective. The German AutoBahns have sections that do not have speed limits. Drivers routinely hit cruising speeds of 150 MPH or more. The exact same car, on the exact same type of road, driven by the exact same driver, would result in arrest and impoundment, here. Why? Is the car, driver or driver's actions any less "safe" or any more "dangerous"?

These guys have adopted the Finnish racing model. Each class of car is assigned an equal value. For this class let's say $5000 At the end of the day's racing, any club member can approach any other club member, make a cash offer to buy their car, and the rules are you must sell it to him. It keeps people from bringing in massive sponsorships, spending hundreds of thousands and taking the whole thing too seriously.

No way is very effective anymore. The technologists and futurists have "pooh poohed" people's legitimate concerns about the creeping electric eyes of Big Brother so many times, thus ensuring that no real resistance was put up, that the web of surveillance is now total and pervasive. That said: why make it easy for the fuckers? As far as I know, individual bills are not yet tied to individuals for the purposes of tracking purchases, or, more importantly, blocking purchases based on an individual's personal attributes. Furthermore, why should I make the fuckers rich?

When NASCAR gets back to being something close to actual STOCK car racing, let me know. A straight off the showroom floor Dodge Demon makes as much HP as a NASCAR cup car. There is no reason whatsoever to think that thrilling racing could not be had by racing bone stock (outside of safety mods that the lawyers would shriek about) Challengers, Mustangs, Cameros, Corvettes and Chryslers. You know, cars that actual people could afford and drive daily. The saying used to be: Win on Sunday, Sell on Monday.

Yes, I can say it, and I can also say that is exactly what the plan is, and I can also say if white people want to survive as a distinct ethnicity and culture, they had better pull their heads out of their collective asses, soon.

Ok - so what should I label myself? I need to make sure I'm using the right label. Not ancap, and not globalist - somewheres betwixt the two. I dont think I'm intelligent enough to grasp a sovereign state that is able to exist without any government, or any concern for immigration. How is that possible? "Slab City, California"? I tend to agree with Jefferson on most issues, including government being a necessary evil that requires constraints on size, with a cyclical reset. ETA: If you were keeping illegals on your property, I would not consider them illegal aliens. I also not consider you a law breaker - its your property, you should have a right to have whoever you want on it. Am I a minarchist now?

"immigration restrictionist"... I suppose that might be a somewhat accurate label - its a fair point of contention. While I have more in common with ancaps and anarchists, I still consider myself a minarchist. I do wish to limit who enters the country, as I believe in its sovereignty. What's particularly strange about this debate is the focus on words. I'd seen this in my gun owner's rights battles - "Assault weapons". "Undocumented immigrants" - is one of those subversive phrases used to describe what is clearly illegal activity. Why is it even necessary? Its necessary because people that use these phrases want to ignore the law. Unfortunately, no matter what side of the issue you're on, government has to manage immigration. Just like everything else they do, its a fking mess. That being said, I think its no coincidence that they are pandering to a certain class of immigrants (Mexican). One might ask why that is, but is pretty obvious and discussed heavily on other threads. What this all boils down is an assault on our sovereignty, for political or corporate gain. There's no regard to the law, or the cost that is incurred, and the rest of us (including my children, and their children) will be paying the price. I'm pretty sure that we are going to disagree on this topic, and that's ok, but I wanted to be clear as to where I am coming from. I dont see myself as being ignorant on the matter, just having a difference in opinion.

Reminds me of Glenn Beck - remember that fking guy? I've noticed with Ben Swann, John Stossel, and Andrew Napolitano - there is a lot of pressure on journalists to spew the network's agenda. They either suck it up and maintain employment, or they move on to other things. There's definitely heavy bias in all of our media now. Some say its the death throes of the legacy media, as they try to compete with the internet. All the hyperbole, and plain circus antics, are desperate attempts to keep an audience. My conspiracy senses pick up something more sinister though, and that comes from the heavy media consolidation that has occurred over the past few decades.

There's a Swedish town in Kansas just north of Wichita. I visited a few years ago, because they've got one of the best archives in the nation. My great-greats didn't settle there, I just got tired of online searches and needed some advice. I need to invest in some proper research to build a family history.

Trump? Really? So you support eminent domain because it's wonderful? Or maybe you support restoring the PATRIOT Act to it's full glory? Or maybe you love waterboarding just as much as he does? Or maybe you too think that Snowden should be assassinated because NSA spying is a GREAT thing? Or maybe you call people names and mock disabled people like a third
