Ricardo Montalban was a fantastic actor and a great Khan. I think Cumberbatch was probably cast because he is also a fantastic actor. JMHPOV ;)

Ron understands Trump very well. And there is absolutely no reason to go after Iran- this has been Trump's dog & pony show since he began the presidential run.

If stupid-posting held so much as 0.001% chance of resulting in death or maiming of the poster, the network would be a very different place. As things stand, it seems that behaving as if one had no brain of which to speak has become the new standard of grand virtue for mean humanity. Welcome to Lovecraft's New Dark Age; only, this one doesn't even rise to that tragic standard, but rather one attributable to nothing better than the eager choice of the average man to relegate himself to that which is base beyond the wildest imaginings of his forebears. Bleak are the prospects for humankind. Come to think of it, they may not even be that good.

Interesting that no one mentions Harding who was probably the best president in the past 100+ years. He pulled the country out of a huge oncoming depression and did many other things that contributed to Coolidge's legacy. Scandals by some of his administration, combined with a mysterious death, have faded Harding into oblivion & many have put him as one of the worst presidents when he was, in fact, one of the best. After doing my own research it seems to me he was probably JFK'd & his great service was flushed down the memory hole.

Well, at least I can stand to look at him. ;) That said- the best one's on the list were probably Carter, he was the only peacetime president, and JFK, who woke up to the Deep State & alphabets running the country. Ike, too, for at least warning us at the end of his presidency.

If we leave NATO, Western Europe will curse itself shortly thereafter when the truth of what it meant to have Americans pay 90% of their national defense for 70 years. comes home to roost like a bullet. I hope we do it. We will see how long their socialist paradise <spew> <hizzom> <hizzom> <hizzom> lasts when they have to choose between "free" medical care and not being eaten by the bears. I hope to hell eastern Europe leaves the west to perish under the overbearing weight of its own brutal idiocy. When they collapse in the wake, and I'd bet money I don't have that they would - all else equal - God forbid that Americans bail their retarded selves out yet again. Let the despicable western Europeans burn or get some sense. Their choice, their job.

I don't think TheCount is a troll-never have- he was a poster with clever subtle sarcasm when I first read his stuff. Then the Trump-Lovers took over the forum. His sarcasm became more obvious & usually on target- I'd say there a a few others trolling to spread hate and discontent but I don't see The Count included in that group.

The Iran deal was definitely a step in the right direction- probably one of the best things that Obama did- so of course, Mr. Golden Ego had to step in and cancel it. The US has been meddling in Iran for at least 70 years and all for oil- it's time to GTF out of other countries. And I would take a peaceful president who didn't "accomplish much" any day over these elitist-huge-ego-hypocrites any day. I'm sure RP would be considered "not very effective" if he were president.

The breaking of the Iran deal was not winning- his stance on Iran let me know where his politics were during the primaries- not to mention the increased war mongering. In the last 50 years only Jimmy Carter was a peacetime president.

I am truly glad for the Hammonds. This whole thing, along with the Bundy's, was some of the most anti-liberty crap I have ever seen. That said- I still think Trump is an imposter- if he was truly not big state, he would not be putting the noose around Iran again. He'd be pulling the military out Korea & the ME & stopping unconstitutional wars- PLUS his pick for SCOTUS would not be another neocon.

I have said this before but it's worth repeating. A DNA test doesn't always "prove" one's history. A friend of mine, who is a Tungva Indian, had his DNA done & it came back that he was 95% Ainu. Blew him away. This guy has true Indian heritage & is responsible for the US recognizing and reinstating the Tungva Tribe, as it had been proclaimed extinct, and helping restore the tribal language & culture. My family history says that my great grandmother was 100% Cherokee and my father's side of the family is Lumbee. I look pretty much like my avatar, blonde, blue/green eyes- and the only people who ever recognize any Indian in me, are Hispanics.

The implications of this particular abolition is in point of fact, grand tyranny. When it is abolished, I guaRONtee that the "state" will be up the twats of every woman in the land. They will snoop and peek and pick in deep trespass of the fundamental rights of every woman in America, regardless of what she's really doing. It's what Theye do. In time, creep will set in such that every horse-shit pretext will be raised to justify the violations. "She might..." will prepend each list item of why the state's nose must be in Ms. America's vagina. Our Constitution and the principles of Law and Right upon which this land is supposedly founded provides stern prohibitions against the "state" sticking its nose in people's personal business. It is why we are supposed to operate on the presumption of innocence in criminal matters. It is why search warrants are supposed to be required in order for the "state" to enter upon a man's property, unwelcome, and why those warrants are supposed to issue only upon oath and affirmation of the facts presented as being faithful to truth. Abolition of alcohol via Volstead resulted in a grand expansion of the "state", both in terms of physical size and usurpations. The same result arose as a consequence of the drug war. I suspect cursory analysis would reveal similar results for other abolitions as well. And where will the line be drawn? Throwing women into prison for possessing RU-486? Will the state require women to submit to twat inspections to verify they are not pregnant, nor have been recently? When a woman miscarries, will she be subjected to inquisition where she will be required to prove that she did not intentionally cause the termination? Will women be prohibited from possessing iodine solution, to be sent to a cell if caught with it? Where does it end?

Again- these were not leftist. And I'm not "playing into their arguments"- I was showing you how I've had to explain the meaning of the 2nd Amendment many times to people who consider themselves to the right- even to some fellow RP supporters. I know very well what the meaning is- was just pointing out that many do not in these crazy days.

Dude- a well-regulated militia does not mean the same to most people nowadays as it did in the 1700s. This particular meaning is what most Americans think nowadays: So it seems to be part of the military- some even connect it with terrorists. The 2nd Amendment was written to mean local males 14 & up defending their community. Unfortunately, most of the people I have had to explain this to are not leftists.

Actually the 2nd Amendment is unclear to a lot of people and generally misinterpreted, especially since word meanings have changed a bit. I've had to explain it a zillion times to people who think that the "well regulated militia" means the federal armies & that people can have guns in the military but do not need to personally have guns because of this.

My personal story (pt2)

by CaptUSA on 02-24-2016 at 09:57 AM
Among my many interests was electricity and I decided that I wanted to change how the industry operates. Understanding the free market as I did, I was pissed that the coolest discovery in the history of mankind was being regulated to death by the government. I wanted to change that.

I found a job as a part-time temporary meter reader. My girlfriend went ballistic that I was quitting a salaried job for a part-time temp job, but I had complete confidence in what I was doing. Meter

My personal story (pt 1)

by CaptUSA on 02-24-2016 at 09:55 AM
I’ve never used this blog feature before, but since people have wondered (and asked) about my personal story, I figured it was best to do it in here rather than the forums.

It may come across as anecdotal, but I assure you that this same type free market story is working itself out all over the country and the globe. Even in the face or increasing government interference.

I was born in Western PA the third of four boys. When I was still a baby, the second child died
