Oh sure. But you have to ask yourself the question "Did they really want Trump dead" then? Did they do a risk assessment of what would happen if Trump survived the assassination? You're focusing on the "how." I'm focusing on the "why?" The "que bono?" Who benefits from a failed assassination attempt on Donald Trump? By the way, the "nudge into chaos" strategy was on full display in season 4 of "The Boys" where the character Sage manipulated everybody, including her own co-conspirators, into doing a coup exactly the way she wanted it to come out. I know a lot of conservatives are mad at the show because it took the mask off and went entirely partisan (the main villain Homelander became clearly a parody of Trump with a female Alex Jones like sidekick "Firecracker"). But it's worth watching for opposition research. So, how does a possible second term of Trump help the deep state?

To be clear, I think speculation is ok for these forums as long as we clearly state it as such. We just need to be cautious. It tends to send people down erroneous rabbit holes when it's thrown out there like some kind of revelation. I have seen no credible evidence for a second shooter, a shattered teleprompter, anyone on the water tower, or the involvement of Maxwell Yearick. I HAVE seen lots of evidence of head-scratching security lapses that coincided with a 20-year old kid that somehow negotiated his way through them.

Unlike the Gretchen Whitmer set up, though, dead men tell no tales. And you're relying on government to investigate government to undercover the links. Meanwhile, they've covered their tracks so that no one other than a government agency would be able to find the connections.

Have you ever read the book, Nudge, by Cass Sunstein and Richard Thaler? Their concept they ironically dubbed, "libertarian paternalism", was highly touted by Barack Obama. Anyway, in that book, they suggest that you only to give nudges and allow people to operate according to the incentives you've laid before them. And it's up to governments to lay out the incentives that work to government's favor. Anyway, back to this case, just to show a conspiratorial way this would be done. They have an impressionable kid on SSRI's that visits a gun range. <Side anecdote, I went to a gun range outside of DC in my teens and I was approached by strangers there that wanted to chat about my political beliefs (I had LP license plates on my truck) - not saying they were agents, but they looked like agents. I even made friends with a guy and we'd meet up there to shoot together until he got too pushy and got angry at me for missing some times that he wanted to shoot. Then, he ghosted me entirely and I never saw him again. Could have just been an asshole.> Anyway, they have records of this kid's medical diagnoses, they have records of his range visits and they have records of his online activity. They don't need to ORDER him to do anything, nor do they need to give him the right weapons. The asset will figure that stuff out on his own. They only need to give the proper nudges. "Did you know Trump's having a rally in Butler?" Kid looks up the rally. "I heard the security is so lax at that place - no one's even gonna be watching that AGR building". Agent tracks his phone and sees that the kid is doing recon, so he reports back. They coordinate an opening at the AGR building and let the kid do his thing. Again, not saying this is how it happened, but it very easily could have.

Nah, I said it earlier in the thread... They want to run against Kamala, but they're worried about another shift in candidate at the convention. They know the Kamala thing is going to go bust - the media and talking heads can promote her now, but it'll all fall apart once she has to think on her feet. She'll flub some interview or questions somewhere and then there will be a break of some Dems questioning whether she's really the best nominee to beat Trump. And then others will join. They'll start to talk about making it an open convention to allow the delegates to "vote their conscience in the most democratic way to ensure democracy". That's when the sleeper comes in (I'm STILL saying Michelle, but Hillary or even Susan Rice will do) to be drafted. All of this will happen in the next month. The GOP knows that Kamala will have a better chance at the convention if she's the incumbent. They also know that the Dems are unlikely to invoke the 25th, but it puts pressure on them to keep defending Kamala. You can trust that the political consultants on the GOP side have recommended this strategy.

In any case it's purely a political concern. Both Biden and Harris are plainly equally brain dead and just as obviously both figureheads for the same faction of the cabal. It makes no practical difference, unless they just want her in place so she can curtail some of the more nakedly destructive policies and make herself look better than Biden.

Question. If they really wanted to kill Trump, why didn't they? Seriously? The guy on the roof with a crappy AR15 with a non magnification red dot site couldn't have done anything but get off a lucky shot that might kill Trump. If there was a second shooter, or if they purposefully allowed Crooks to get in position to take the shot, couldn't they have made sure he had a decent scope? He had a range finder. Academy Sports has a 30x rifle scope for $200.00. I would say this kid is too dumb to get a scope...but then he was smart enough to get a rangefinder. (I wouldn't have thought of that but I'm not a gun guy. But I would have thought of a scope). If there was a second professional shooter he would have absolutely had a scope. There's the possibility that the second shooter was just too far away to make the headshot. But why didn't he aim center of mass? Concern about body armor? Well he could have shot in the pelvic region and which isn't covered by a rifle plate. It's funny that liberal are running with the "It was all staged by Trump to get a bump in the polls" conspiracy theory, but that would have required the Biden administration and/or deep state to be in on it in terms of security lapses. Conservative are going with the "It was the deep state trying to kill Trump" conspiracy theory, but that makes no sense because if that were true....he'd be dead. "Oh they missed and got the ear." He stood there long enough checking his ear for a second shot. If this is a grand conspiracy, the only conspiracy is that Trump and the deep state conspired together. Something that acptulsa has been hinting at.

You tell me and we'll both know. The neocons and the neolibs? Trump was solidly in the neolib category before his overlord Hillary Clinton asked him to run as a Republican. Obama was blackmailed into what he did in Libya and in the Sahal. (They didn't release that "I fantasize daily about sex with men" letter until well into Trump's first term). But Obama did seem to get off on the drone strike power, even joking(?) that he could drone strike young men trying to talk to his daughters.

Hello. I see you just joined May of 2024. I've been here since 2008. And long before George Floyd I knew that BLM was more a political movement than a civil rights movement. That said there are racist cops and there are criminal cops. And there are also white criminal cops who kill white people and black criminal cops who kill black people. And sometimes the cops get criticized for doing the right thing like the cop who shot Makaya Bryant seconds before she could stab another black woman. (And in my opinion that story ended BLM as a movement that could garner mass protests). One more thing. I'm seeing racist and/or copsucker whites on X trying to defend the cop that murdered the woman over a pot. I kid you not. "She was manic" and "She couldn't explain the SUV in her driveway" as if that somehow justifies killing a woman who's holding a freaking pot. If you're a grown ass man and you're scared of a woman holding a pot, you have no business being a police officer. 1815899817026912712

Yeah, I saw that. We'll see what happens at the convention. Ironically much of the George Floyd Justice In Policing Act is a copy of what the DEMOCRATS FILIBUSTERED in 2020. Trump should point that out, but I doubt he will lest he offend the wing of the party that was thrilled at drunk frat boy made monkey noises at a black woman who was on campus advocating for the Palestinians. Donald Trump was pro criminal justice reform in 2018 but I never hear him talking about that now and frankly I don't blame him. As soon as 2019 came around and the election was looming, his contribution to that effort was immediately forgotten and/or dismissed.

Did you see the comments? Knee grows are finally turning on BLM because they aren't backing the cackler in chief. Knee grow # 1: As a Black Woman living in America I welcome canceling this organization as well. YOU ARE NOT FOR US! You utilized the pain of Black people to advance the name #BLM BUT never stood in the trenches with the cause. YOU’RE DONE! Me : Funny but the same thing can be said about Kamala Harris. She FILLIBUSTERED a police reform bill in 2020 even though she and other democrats were given the opportunity to add amendments. That and her record as a "progressive prosecutor" disqualifies her as a black leader. Knee grow # 2: Right! Protesting is one thing, but legislation is another. If your org can't partner w a party, it does not have the chance to get to gov leaders. The reason this org is not taken seriously is because they don't understand political partnerships. Me: Party politics is why black people didn't get a police reform bill in 2020, as the democrats filibustered it, but Asians got a hate crimes bill in 2021.

I remember one of the moderators saying her ban was lifted a long time ago but she just chose not to come back. It's ironic. In the early days when 9/11 truth threads routinely got shuttled off the the Hot Topics dungeon and I and others would voice our displeasure, one of her comebacks would be the forum owners property rights as if I didn't have the right as a consumer to voice my displeasure. Her view was "If you don't like it, just leave." So....I guess she left and decided not to come back. It's a shame, but on the other hand she is being true to her principles.

The root cause is U.S. foreign policy. You try to destabilize foreign governments and "Surprise, surprise" you cause a migrant crisis. And....Trump worked to destabilize Latin American countries like Venezuela as well. And there's the ongoing failure of the war on drugs. Anyhow, I doubt Kamala will be able to deflect Trump's "border czar" attacks by explaining to voters that she was really the "immigration root causes policy coordinator" or whatever her title was. She'll probably pivot away from that subject whenever it comes up.

You, of course, are exactly right. And......Trump is unlikely to do that because he's currently running as a law and order candidate as opposed to a criminal justice reform candidate. That's a shame really because his record on criminal justice reform is actually pretty good and in 2018 he was praised for it even by democrats. Personally the reason I was hoping for Tim Scott to be the VP nominee is I was looking forward to Tim asking Kamala why she filibustered his police reform bill. I predict Trump's main attack will be her obvious failure as a border czar which she will respond with "Why did you scuttle our bipartisan border control bill? Why (cackle) oh why?" And his comeback will be "I was able to control the border using the tools I already had." And she will respond with "Like that border fence that you never finished?"

My personal story (pt2)

by CaptUSA on 02-24-2016 at 09:57 AM
Among my many interests was electricity and I decided that I wanted to change how the industry operates. Understanding the free market as I did, I was pissed that the coolest discovery in the history of mankind was being regulated to death by the government. I wanted to change that.

I found a job as a part-time temporary meter reader. My girlfriend went ballistic that I was quitting a salaried job for a part-time temp job, but I had complete confidence in what I was doing. Meter

My personal story (pt 1)

by CaptUSA on 02-24-2016 at 09:55 AM
I’ve never used this blog feature before, but since people have wondered (and asked) about my personal story, I figured it was best to do it in here rather than the forums.

It may come across as anecdotal, but I assure you that this same type free market story is working itself out all over the country and the globe. Even in the face or increasing government interference.

I was born in Western PA the third of four boys. When I was still a baby, the second child died
