Of course. But... I already explained how to check this. All states keep records of who votes in every election. And they have to give you that information. That's how polsters come up with their "likely voter" lists, how candidates get signatures for ballot access, and how parties determine who's a "bona fide" democrat or republican. (In Tennessee anyway the GOP determines that if you voted in the last 3 GOP primaries.) So using that list you can contact voters who, according to the records, voted in 2020 and not 2024 and simply ask them "Did you vote in 2020?" If there was ballot stuffing of people who were on the rolls but didn't vote that will show up. It's not like 10 million people who votes were cast for them without their knowledge or consent will be clued in to lie and say "Oh yeah. I voted in 2020" when they really didn't.

Well, neither Tucker Carlson nor Joe Rogan pushed Trump on Operation Warp Speed, so I doubt anyone will actually hold Trump accountable.

Non story in the "OMG it MUST be voter fraud" variety. So all of those other times when voter turnout was even HIGHER there MUST have been voter fraud? Because that's basically the argument. Let's just ignore all other possible explanations other that "the election was stolen" without any attempt at checking the voter rolls first and doing a survey of voters who, according to the rolls, voted in 2020 but not 2024 and see if anything shakes out. Maybe, just maybe, if you make it super easy to mail in vote, more people vote.

See, this is why we HATE the corporate press... This may be accurate, but we'd have ZERO way to tell from these anonymous sources. In fact, the whole article seems like a ruse to sow discord in the transition team.

Did he ever give an update on why he didn't prosecute Hillary Clinton? Was he just joking? Maybe he'll do things differently now that he's been prosecuted himself though.

The election did not go the way I wanted it to go. I’m angry. I demand a redo. Except that’s already Karen’s line, and the election did go her way.

I heard he accurately predicted how Trump would be installed as a dictator which didn't go over well with the dictator. For such crimes, he has been unpersoned and is currently doing hard labor in the gulag in Northern Alaska. Or, he's on vacation.

 Bob Dole was running in the 1800s? Because that's where you see the biggest drop. You're grasping at straws. And if you don't think Kamala Harris was "such a bad candidate" you are really kidding yourself in order to keep your conspiracy theory alive. The whole world was talking about Kamala's "word salad" answers to questions. Muslim voters mad at Gaza either said they weren't voting or some even endorsed Trump. It was all in the news before the election that Democrats were concerned black men would not turn out for Kamala Harris, even to the point of Barack Obama "scolding" black men, and we didn't. Bob Dole was a much better candidate than Kamala Harris. She was her own voter suppression.

Okay. My problems with Nate's analysis. 1) He keeps calling this a headlock. I IS a chokehold! That's not "media spin." It's possible to put someone in a headlock where you don't have a chokehold. This is an example. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/5fBDIWB0mp0 Does that mean Daniel Penny was TRYING to choke Jordan Neely to death? Nope. But he clearly had Jordan in a rear naked choke. A white belt in BJJ would know that. Anyone who is even a casual MMA fan would know that. 2) We (or at least I) do NOT have all of the information we need. I've yet to see the full 15 minute video. When in the span of 15 minutes did Jordan Neeley go limp? How quickly did Daniel Penny release the chokehold and attempt to revive Jordon? 3) At 6:30 Nate says that prosecutors have to show that Daniel Penny knew there was a risk that Jordan could die from that hold and he ignored that risk. Ummmm...how could he not know? Daniel is a marine. Marines are taught how to kill using that hold. That's like saying "I didn't think there was a risk to pointing a loaded gun at someone." Of course, even if you don't intend to kill someone, there is a risk. If that's all prosecutors have to prove then God bless Daniel Penny. 4) Yeah...I was wondering why the other two who were restraining Jordan weren't charged. But it's not as simple as a question of race as Nate tries to make it seem. Daniel Penny had training on the rear naked choke. The other passengers who were holding Jordan's arms may not have had that training. So did they know the risk of a rear naked choke? It's possible they didn't.

And yet Trump didn't pardon Assange did he? Assange had to wait for Biden to strike a deal with him. Yeah....I heard that before. Trump promised to "lock her up" (Hillary Clinton) and didn't deliver.

 And yet Bill Clinton won both with the spike in turnout and the drop in turnout. You're grasping at straws. You see bigger spikes and dips in turnout going all the way back to 1789. https://www.electproject.org/national-1789-present Anti Federalist, this is a non story.

Higher than average voter turnout for 2020 was reported way back in 2021. See: https://www.brookings.edu/articles/turnout-in-2020-spiked-among-both-democratic-and-republican-voting-groups-new-census-data-shows/ Possible reasons for the higher turnout? 1) Nationwide there was no questions asked abstentie voting. So all of a sudden voting was super convenient. 2) Nationwide mass protests and civil unrest natutually resulted in higher voter turnout. The 2020 turnout level while high, is not unprecedented. From the above linked article.

Yeah, I used to believe that, too. Only that he was working on the side of the elites that were friendly to him. (I don't put them all in the same basket like they're all working in unison with each other) But I do recall an anecdote from my former CEO... Early in Trump's first term, he met with Trump in the Oval office about energy policy. He told me that in the meeting, Trump was very open about the need to support nuclear power and to speed up the permitting processes and operational regulatory hurdles. They shook hands and were in agreement. Trump stepped out of the room and his aides took over and started walking back everything Trump had just agreed to. At the time, I chalked it up to Trump letting his henchmen do his dirty work. But now, I think they were really undermining his decisions. I think we saw a bunch of that on the news as well.

My personal story (pt2)

by CaptUSA on 02-24-2016 at 09:57 AM
Among my many interests was electricity and I decided that I wanted to change how the industry operates. Understanding the free market as I did, I was pissed that the coolest discovery in the history of mankind was being regulated to death by the government. I wanted to change that.

I found a job as a part-time temporary meter reader. My girlfriend went ballistic that I was quitting a salaried job for a part-time temp job, but I had complete confidence in what I was doing. Meter

My personal story (pt 1)

by CaptUSA on 02-24-2016 at 09:55 AM
I’ve never used this blog feature before, but since people have wondered (and asked) about my personal story, I figured it was best to do it in here rather than the forums.

It may come across as anecdotal, but I assure you that this same type free market story is working itself out all over the country and the globe. Even in the face or increasing government interference.

I was born in Western PA the third of four boys. When I was still a baby, the second child died
