What race has to do with it is, way back during the Clinton Administration sentences for crack cocaine (disproportionally used by the poor, and therefore minorities) became many times longer than sentences for other forms of cocaine. Now, we could argue for a week whether this was deliberately racial (we could, but I'm not going to), but it is perceived that way. And since trying to get someone elected The GOP Way gets us barred from conventions, gets our convention votes ignored, gets us hijacked, baited and switched to establishment tools the MSM is falsely advertising 24/7 as mavericks, gets us subverted and overrun with racists in order to make their false redefinitions of us seem valid, and gets us saddled with primary voters who only seem interested in seeing who's leading the horse race and jumping on the bandwagon, I suggest finding a more bipartisan route into government would be a huge boon to libertarians. And considering that Clinton-era miscarriage of justice (is cocaine not cocaine?) is indicative of the kind of mistreatment minorities have been suffering on the Democrat Plantation for forty years, maybe we should start entertaining the possibility that they are becoming 'low-hanging fruit'. That, of course, is a personal decision, and I have no intention of standing in your way.

It's old news, and now that all the search engines use Google's priorities, it isn't easy to find. Also, there have been more laws since altering and expanding the rule. This site gives a pretty good idea how it works: https://www.homecaremag.com/hcexperts/retail-hme/hme-revenue-mix-201101/ This gives an overview of how physical therapy providers are affected: https://drjarodcarter.com/medicare-self-pay-physical-therapy/ This is short, but enlightening:

South Africa had the strongest economy in Africa from before anyone started trying to measure economies until this year. Nigeria just overtook them. It's amazing how fast abandoning property rights and the rule of law will bring a place down.

Nothing--nothing--has ever made medical care prices in the U.S. rise faster than the law that doctors must charge cash customers (who require no paperwork) the same prices as Medicare customers (who require reams of paperwork). That law never saved Medicare one penny. It only accomplished one thing--it made price gouging mandatory for the uninsured. Of all the laws that were ever enacted strictly to benefit insurance companies, that one--which was on the face of it supposed to protect Medicare from excessive charges--has done the insurance lobby the most good and the rest of America the most harm. And so far as Medicare is concerned, it changed not one single thing.

Oh come on... :) You don't want to play the game at least??? That Mulvaney, Rand, Massie and Amash are all working together in an elaborate plan to gain influence with Trump to get him out of the way so they can take over the leadership of the country? That McCain's death was the final obstacle removed in order to put their plan into action? That by orchestrating the loss of the House they ensured these investigations and increased the pressure on the right Congressmen to give Trump "the talk"? Oh man, this could go all night! A conspiracy theory in our favor??! :D

Listen, if he's in this role and he has the ability to dictate the schedule of Trump's meetings?? We all know Trump is HIGHLY influenced by the last person he talks to... Mulvaney just may be able to change the direction of the country like he did with the OMB. (Yeah, I know... Ever the optometrist. ;))

We got a chunk of them behind Ron Paul. Rand decided to play Good Republican and chased them away, but the Ron Paul coalition saw Democrats registering Republican to vote for him in primaries. Partisanship is the wedge they're using to divide people who want liberty and/or peace from people who want liberty and/or peace. Notice the only Republicans and the only Democrats they ever, ever point cameras and microphones at are the ones who'd as soon lock everyone else up as look at them. That's not hardly an accident. Nor is it an accident that partisans were sent here to demonize all the Democrats and Libertarians with a Democratic background who were still hanging around. It worked, too. Bolton got his money's worth.

It's all in the way they phrase the questions. They can get these polls to move however they want. Most people really do want liberty. For themselves. But when answering poll questions, it's about what frame of reference you put the respondent in. Are you asking what they want for themselves, or what they want for their country?? Even in the most honest reputable polls, the respondent will know that answer in the first couple of seconds - by the way the sentence structure is arranged, by the pitch, timbre, tone and overtones of the callers voice, and even by the time of day. But don't fool yourself... there is a part of everyone that wants liberty. Part of our job is to find it. I'm still working on that one. It's a slow go.

Unfortunately, most people are only interested in liberty as it pertains to themselves. They have little to no interest in the liberty of their neighbors.

Well, not only were you the one football fan in the nation not paying attention to the huge sacrifice the Chiefs made for the cause of curbing female abuse, you decide to pour out disrespect to natives. Nice of you to prove what I said about Cowboys fans. So you watch the Chargers defense struggle to hold the offense which is the toast of the nation, and which scored forty points on the Patriots and fifty points on the Rams. And the conclusion your lying eyes leads you to jump to is, Patrick Mahomes can't throw and there is no defense in the AFC. Now, I've seen you plant your Intractable Flag on utterly ridiculous, utterly indefensible positions before. But this is the first time I've actually seen you arrive at the wrong hill and begin trying in vain to defend it. It is, as Mr. Spock used to say, fascinating. Should I give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you had Joe Buck on mute when he told you Mahomes was on track to set the NFL record for touchdown passes in a season? Or did you hear that bit of relevant data and ignore it in preference for the testimony of your lying eyes? As a person who is literally, physically surrounded by obnoxious Cowpoke fans, I'd like nothing better than to see these Chiefs rope and brand that team. Unfortunately, those Pokes of yours have to get past at least one team every inch as good as they are to get a chance to play the Saints or the Rams. And that will finish them just about a week before they'd have had a shot at the other. Which makes it all academic. Doesn't it?

Yeah- hemp is better than wood paper, cotton, etc. Most great paintings that have lasted for centuries were painted on hemp canvas. The Constitution is on hemp, ship sails were made from hemp.

George Washington set a tax on all people who would not grow hemp because it was considered so valuable. It was Big Corps that got .gov to make it illegal because it makes better oil & stronger steel- never had anything to do with the stupid drug stuff.

Oh? Beating the Eagles gets a team in the game? It's going to be a mighty crowded game, with at least six teams on the field... I've known all my life that Cowpoke fans were obnoxious. But most of them are so quiet during the droughts that I actually thought it was the fair weather fans that were the mouthy ones. So much for that theory.

Clearly the intended fallout is the ouster of Mohammed bin Salman in favor of some other Saud royal the U.S. likes better. As for Trump's statement that the U.S. will still be a Saudi ally, well duh. Any liberals who think differently are clearly not paying attention to Israel's affection for the nation and its regime.

My personal story (pt2)

by CaptUSA on 02-24-2016 at 09:57 AM
Among my many interests was electricity and I decided that I wanted to change how the industry operates. Understanding the free market as I did, I was pissed that the coolest discovery in the history of mankind was being regulated to death by the government. I wanted to change that.

I found a job as a part-time temporary meter reader. My girlfriend went ballistic that I was quitting a salaried job for a part-time temp job, but I had complete confidence in what I was doing. Meter

My personal story (pt 1)

by CaptUSA on 02-24-2016 at 09:55 AM
I’ve never used this blog feature before, but since people have wondered (and asked) about my personal story, I figured it was best to do it in here rather than the forums.

It may come across as anecdotal, but I assure you that this same type free market story is working itself out all over the country and the globe. Even in the face or increasing government interference.

I was born in Western PA the third of four boys. When I was still a baby, the second child died
