I am soon to turn my 64th and in my years on Planet Prison I have noted the very ill-advised habit of victors of wars and battles, petty or grand. The very act of standing victorious represents huge dangers to the victor, for it encourages false senses of security, self-worth, and that somehow "it" is over, we can now relax. The Freeman can NEVER relax. It may sound tiresome, perhaps even like someone is too tightly wrapped, but it remains true. The worst thing a Freeman can ever do is relax; to assume and enemy is defeated for good; that "it" can never happen again. Not only can it, it will. In all our history we have not so much as a single example of a people coming to some exalted state of freedom where the Tyrant has not eventually returned. Every single liberating event has been followed by the tyrant's return to stature, status, and power - some sooner, some later. There is no such thing as the Tyrant vanquished. There are always vanquished individuals, but the Tyrant always exists because there is always someone who seeks power over others. So when the courts rule in what appears to be "our" favor, take the victory in stride - be glad for it, but never trust it completely and never make the error of thinking that this somehow leaves you less threatened. Any time we displace the Tyrant, celebrate with lots of singing, drinking, screwing, and all that rot, but never think that you can now relax because that is how the enemies of liberty reestablish themselves, whether in a year, a century, a...

This a serious question? Hunter "I'm a filthy crack ho'" Biden gets into sticky business with Ukraine. He is exposed, but media et al ignore the issue, shrieking "It's TRUMP'S fault!!!" This may hold, or it may not. With midterms coming, who can say what might happen in the wake of Democrats being routed? So the threat of broad and deep discredit remains, however remotely. On top of it, a few Ukrainian elements pretty well tossed Biden under the bus... but no possible conflict of interest there at all for Biden, right? Conspiracy theory and all that. So what might Brandon want? The destruction of Ukraine in order to save his drug addict felon of a son, as well as his "image" - shitty as it may be, it could get worse.

Ah yes... there's that. I actually use it just to watch who goes off. Niggardly is synonymous with miserly. To be paid a niggardly wage, for example, or to behave in a biggardly fashion. Back before I escaped NYC and was training regularly, my friend Jimmy Loriega and I had a Friday ritual, going to dinner and conversing, etc., frequenting Minettta Tavern or Ponte Vecchio in the Village. Jimmy would always use "niggardly" in our conversations and I'd always look about us to see who was noticing and/or ready to burst an artery over it. Given today's standards of comportment, I am almost surprised nobody ever said anything to him or us. Today, of course, things are very different. I have been called on it, only to set the ignorant foob straight, the funny bit being that such people have never yet conceded, but only responded with trebly-forceful shrieks of "RAYcis!"

Yeah, it must be hard having people celebrate him for helping his community and defending his life. Those people must really be difficult for him. If only they could be more "neutral". Do you even read the crap you write??

Shoot - those idiots wouldn't have a clue. I could also call them "cigarettes" or "brooms" or "weak" or "h o m o s". One euphemism I use is "homer" or "Homer". I use it in place of h o m o, but there is also the Homer Simpson connection - and ignorant, effeminate buffoon, which is the real meaning behind the reference, but I like to watch the pansies go on about "homophobia" and all that, while I give them nothing in return (mostly) and just laugh to myself and how those people give themselves away, their responses being reflections of their own internal states, rather than of. my own. Admittedly, toying with lowatt "intellects" isn't much of a challenge, but it can prove droll at times. Besides, seeing them dance at the edge of bursting an artery has its appeal. If only they'd go over the precipice... Yeah, I'm real mean. :) It is really quite something to witness how narrow between the eyes these lefties are. They luxuriate in their ignorance.

This may go the other way... According to TMZ: In any case, he was an overweight 74-year old male with asthma and several comorbidities who had previously collapsed on stage several times. His vocal power and range were magnificent, but he has been living on borrowed time for decades. Whether a virus, a shot, or a feather finally took him out is probably immaterial.

This is a relatively small thing, but it should nonetheless be observed as yet another data point on just how much we're being done by those who are not worthy to clean with their tongues the bottoms of the boots into which we just stamped in a pile of dog poo, yet deem themselves our betters. I use facebook for the sake of keeping in touch with people I've known most of my life, but who live very far away. I also indulge myself by participating in a few groups. One of them is called "Blacksmithing for Beginners". I've been a smith since I'm sixteen and it remains a central element of my life. Some time ago I made reference in Post 'A' to doing a "f a g g o t" weld. A f a g g o t is a pile of scrap that is welded into a single piece - very boilerplate operation for beginners to learn and master. Two days ago I posted an answer about wrought iron (Post 'B'). It promptly disappeared. Big mystery is finally solved when an admin finds out that it was flagged for "hate speech". The idiots at fb refused to accept the explanation that "f a g g o t weld" is ancient and standard blacksmith jargon and stood by their decision... except those yobs deleted 'B', which made no reference to the term in question. Times like these try my patience with stupidity to threadbare such that I entertain the notion that some people need to be beaten verily and in some cases terminally with iron bars. I'm probably wrong, but were the people at fb apprehended and so beaten, I just might look the other way.

My personal story (pt2)

by CaptUSA on 02-24-2016 at 09:57 AM
Among my many interests was electricity and I decided that I wanted to change how the industry operates. Understanding the free market as I did, I was pissed that the coolest discovery in the history of mankind was being regulated to death by the government. I wanted to change that.

I found a job as a part-time temporary meter reader. My girlfriend went ballistic that I was quitting a salaried job for a part-time temp job, but I had complete confidence in what I was doing. Meter

My personal story (pt 1)

by CaptUSA on 02-24-2016 at 09:55 AM
I’ve never used this blog feature before, but since people have wondered (and asked) about my personal story, I figured it was best to do it in here rather than the forums.

It may come across as anecdotal, but I assure you that this same type free market story is working itself out all over the country and the globe. Even in the face or increasing government interference.

I was born in Western PA the third of four boys. When I was still a baby, the second child died
