YEP. so to the "libertarians" and far left who think 100 percent open borders without any citizenship is okay........how do they feel about the Social Wars of Rome? or the rise to power by Julius G Caesar giving Roman Citizenship to 2 massive territories (Spain, & Gaul) instantly after seizing power ? It appears to me that the people who want their cake and then some to be represented can't fail at contradicting the very essence of representation by wanting millions of people to come into the united states and have equal representation (visa holders and illegal immigrants who are both not citizens) in specific have an inability to define government representation, civil order, ....and "citizenship". Do people seriously think that equality with an illegal immigrant who is not a citizen in elections is going to produce good results? Did not some of the old empires do this and deliberately destroy themselves and raise up tyrants using foreign military ,raising armies of non-citizenry? 2/3rds of the ROMAN EMPIRE MILITARY WERE "ALLIES" (allies were not roman citizens)........... and thats who marched into Rome with Julius G Caesar. Point given, the united states was established with citizenship for a reason.
