I can attest that that is the truth. I have sat on committees, participated in many a meeting, involved in more campaigns that I care to remember (except Ron Paul’s which I would do again in a heart beat). They love to talk the rhetoric, but when it comes down to it they are just as bad as democrats. Worse even, because they know how to rope folks in slowly but surely, losing sense of the foundation of freedom and conservatism. At least the democrats are open and honest about it and you know where they stand. I have no use for political parties anymore, this one centralized government. I enjoy living as free as I can the best that I can, considering the circumstances, and spreading the message of freedom and liberty, and of course Ron Paul.

Rep. Justin Amash (I–Mich.) introduced an amendment on Monday night that would have removed the Patriot Act reauthorization from the continuing resolution, but the amendment was blocked by Democratic leaders. https://mobile.twitter.com/justinamash/status/1196573022783725572?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1196573022783725572&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Freason.com%2F2019%2F11%2F19%2Fcongress-will-vote-today-on-continuing-resolution-that-hikes-spending-extends-patriot-act-surveillance%2F The continuing resolution will also boost pay for the military, fund next year's census, and hike overall spending by about $322 billion—a figure that was agreed to earlier this year, but still seems irresponsible given the rapidly rising deficit and $23 trillion national debt. https://reason.com/2019/11/19/congress-will-vote-today-on-continuing-resolution-that-hikes-spending-extends-patriot-act-surveillance/

written by rep. thomas massie (r-ky) tuesday november 19, 2019 Today, while everyone is distracted by the impeachment drama, Congress will vote to extend warrantless data collection provisions of the #PatriotAct, by hiding this language on page 25 of the Continuing Resolution (CR) that temporarily funds the government. To sneak this through, Congress will first vote to suspend the rule which otherwise gives us (and the people) 72 hours to consider a bill. The scam here is that Democrats are alleging abuse of Presidential power, while simultaneously reauthorizing warrantless power to spy on citizens that no President should have... in a bill that continues to fund EVERYTHING the President does... and waiving their own rules to do it.

The Rio Grande is the actual border, not private property, farms and businesses say 30 to 400 miles in. But, as I have specifically detailed time and again, you know that, and have no regard for private property rights. Like the rest of the government statists on "both sides" of the isle. And then there's the perpetual "War on Drugs", which you seem to enjoy, funding and adding more government goons. And shoot to kill "invaders" on sight without due process.

Related: The Corporate Interests Behind The Homestead Migrant Youth Detention Center The U.S. government's "Zero-Tolerance" policy on immigration created a surge in the number of children that are locked up in detention facilities. The largest migrant youth detention facility in the U.S. is the Homestead detention center in Florida. It holds at least 2,000 children and is the only for-profit migrant youth detention facility to date. The Homestead detention center is operated by Comprehensive Health Services (CHS), a subsidiary of Caliburn International Corporation, which is owned by private equity firm DC Capital Partners. The Homestead Detention Center The Homestead immigrant youth detention facility has the capacity to hold 2,350 people. As of March 2019, Comprehensive Health Services has received nearly half a billion dollars from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to run the detention center. The Homestead facility was previously used as a Job Corps training center. It has operated as an “influx care facility” site for unaccompanied undocumented minors from June 2016 to April 2017 and was reopened for that purpose again in March 2018. On December 19, 2018, Senator Jeff Merkley of Oregon and Representative Judy Chu introduced bicameral legislation that called for the closure of the Homestead facility. Neither has been put to the floor for a vote.

Trump To Give US Farmers Cash Bail-Outs BEFORE Thanksgiving SilverDoctors Something's not quite right! We have the greatest economy in American history, and yet the farmers need a 3rd bail-out in less than 2 years, and a cash bail-out no less? Is China really buying farm products "big again", when common sense and Economics 101 say otherwise? Let's make some sense of what's really going on...

____ New Attorney General Nominee William Barr’s Record on Guns Revealed Dec 08, 2018 President Trump said yesterday that he intends to nominate William Barr as Sessions’ replacement. The choice has been greeted by applause from both Democrats and Republicans. Barr is a Bush 41 retread, having served as Assistant Attorney General, Deputy Attorney General, and finally as Attorney General. BATFE was under the Department of Treasury during Bush 41’s term and the Department of Justice had only limited authority over firearms. Barr has said little about firearms or gun control during his career, but he is widely considered to be the author of PL 101-647, The Crime Control Act of 1990.

The presidency typically, more than usually, lasts 2 terms, unless something very drastic takes place. Knowing this, the people support 2 terms of a democrat, before figuring out that things really don’t get better, then decide it is time for republicans to take over for 2 terms, same downward spiral... back and forth, left, right, under the same structured corporate government and federal reserve. Bill served 2, GWB served 2, Obama served 2, it was clearly the republicans turn regardless of who it was. Trump supported Hillary’s bid to senate, which she won, on top of being friends with the Clintons. Trump was a shoe-in the democrat that he is, only stick an R after the name and everything is good to go. Rand and others being necessary nuisances, required for TV ratings and to appear “fair”.

For the most part, voters and non do not care about facts and records. They only care about podium rhetoric and empty promises. The key to liberty in the future is to educate the ones coming up in this world. This is exactly what Ron Paul and other freedom advocates understand and preach. It is not elections that matter. It is the hearts and minds of people that matter.

It doesn’t matter. It wil be another waste of time and money. Until The People understand what true liberty really means and how it would benefit us all, republicans, democrats, and independent voters will still continue to vote as they always have while sacrificing liberty and wads of money for false security. Look at the past hundred years or so, for instance. The way politicians talk at the podium (rhetoric), lie, give in, along with common core public schools and colleges, media and whirl-wind unicorns and utopia... only a small few who understand will carry the torch as the majority, Democrats, indy’s, yes even republicans, attempt to put out its flame.
