By Gary D. Barnett March 27, 2024 “Still another of the frauds of these men is, that they are now establishing, and that the war was designed to establish, “a government of consent.” The only idea they have ever manifested as to what is a government of consent, is this—that it is one to which everybody must consent, or be shot. This idea was the dominant one on which the war was carried on; and it is the dominant one, now that we have got what is called “peace.” ~ Lysander Spooner, No Treason: The Constitution of No Authority To believe or support any document that is claimed to be a contract agreed upon by all, and in perpetuity, without a single signature by any held to its decrees, represented by only a few criminal rulers, ‘interpreted’ by only nine appointed criminal ‘supreme’ court judges, and enforced at the point of a gun, is not only ignorant, arrogant, and asinine, it is completely insane. But in this nation-state 235 years ago, a few rich mercantilists and corrupt politicians falsely referred to as the ‘founders,’ in the dark of night, behind locked and closed doors, in total secrecy, drafted what is referred to as ‘The Constitution,’ and claimed it bound every single individual in the country, and would be binding on every single individual born thereafter. What nonsense is this?

My reference was in regard to what Biden said during his speech: "I told them we’re going to send all the federal resources they need as we respond to this emergency, and I mean all the federal resources. And we’re going to rebuild that port together." We should not be incurring the cost of what the company(ies) involved should be responsible for. I see Biden's move as another toward fascism. The square mile remark was meant as: damn that's another big one!

As fast as Biden made his announcement, I see it more as I posted in the other thread:

Not only that, but also another square mile toward the merger of private business/government fascism. "You didn't build that, we did".

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Madison320 again. You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to acptulsa again. Those are the interventionists, like the ones who promote a globalists order, North American Union , invade other countries because "if America can't compete it will conquer", etc. I travel to Mexico often and can say that people for the most part are happy and laid back yet hard workers. Products are cheaper there, and often you will find stores that give free tequila for you to walk in the door at which point you can barter price further. "Concerned" people criticize them, complain about their wages and judge their lifestyle, which leads to more interventionism and eventually higher costs. Every country has poor and wealthy, bad and good areas just like here in the states. But it should be up to the people in those countries to worry about, not us. We can benefit by the cheaper prices, while they benefit by the profits when we buy. It sure beats war, or banning, which would cause our prices to soar while cutting off their means of profit and survive. If American's were so truly concerned about "independence", they would simply demand more "economic freedom zones", lower regulatory and tax rates, build and compete, which would bring prices back down here in the states. It "may not be as simple as that", but that's what needs to be done. Anti Federalist : the company involved should be liable for rebuilding that, or set up an alternate port, not the federal government/tax payers.

Joe Biden 2021 – present: $6.32 trillion - 6.33% (less than 1 term) Donald Trump 2017 – 2021: $8.2 TRILLION (40.43% in 1 single term) Barack Obama 2009 – 2017: $8.34 trillion (69.98% 2 full terms) RE: The Presidential Pen I wonder, if Biden is able to exceed Trump's debt, will Biden be allowed to "win" the upcoming election. If not, they will definitely need Trump back in office, to show them how it's done. It's all about raking it in, isn't it?

Navigating the Slippery Slope: How Hoover's Interventions Paved the Way for the Great Depression Mises Wire Vibhu Vikramaditya 03/26/2024 Herbert Hoover's presidency is often mythically mischaracterized as a period of strict nonintervention in the economy. However, it was in fact defined by a series of economic maneuvers that not only deviated from laissez-faire ideology, but also significantly contributed to the onset of the Great Depression. He initiated his term in 1929 with a proactive push by establishing the Federal Farm Board and later the Reconstruction Finance Corporation. These testified to his interventionist approach, aimed at countering economic instability with federal support that ranged from agricultural price supports to protective tariffs and substantial public works investments. These policies failed to grasp the underlying economic frailties that, combined with a long recession in overexpanded agriculture, inadvertently magnified the crisis. .

Q: Since you are the one paying for them, how many more cameras are slated to be installed in the town nearest you? 1. Don't know, don't care. 2. It's for protection. 3. The local townspeople got together to have the existing ones removed.

Can noncitizens vote in U.S. elections? 2022 Federal law bans noncitizens from voting in federal elections, including races for president, vice president, Senate or House of Representatives. The 1996 law states that noncitizens who vote illegally will face a fine, imprisonment or both. Noncitizens who cast a ballot and get caught may also face deportation. When people in the U.S. register to vote, they confirm under penalty of perjury that they are U.S. citizens. Several states also verify that registration against federal and state databases.

Can I take the easy way out and provide links? Can You Be a Resident of Two States? Understanding the Legal and Financial Implications What if we own homes in two states and split our time equally between them? Do we have to pay taxes in both states when we only earned income in one state?

I don't use google at all, haven't in years. There are other search engines which yield better results. Vivek was a prime example. Information that was a quick-click away is no longer available, including archive.org.

Dig hard? This is the first hit that came up on a simple search: https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2018/02/28/trump-says-take-guns-first-and-worry-due-process-second-white-house-gun-meeting/381145002/ Of course, I have encountered quite a few things that I am certain that I have seen, which were then later scrubbed. There are companies that will do that for a fee.

Redistribution of wealth is not ok at the Fed level, but it is acceptable at the state? What if I don’t want to move out of Pennsylvania, just because they choose to do it in Philadelphia, which is clear across the other side of the state?
