Isn't that the law that enabled Obama to spy on him? why in the world would he sign that? wait a minute, unless maybe, just maybe the whole adversarial relation with the democrat played up to the hilt in the MSM and fake alt media is all a fake.

Not entirely true, whites are less likely to suffer from schizophrenia than blacks. Btw Somalis are not exactly black blacks (Sub-Saharan black race), they are more a mix of Africans and Arabs. The pic in post #2 is of west/central Africans and the typical Somali will cut you with a machete if you misidentify em as West Africans and will most definitely cut your little head and big head in that order if you ever confused them for Nigerians. You people have been warned :)

A mentally deranged Somali, that can't be. Didn't it say in that National geographic documentary that Somalis were immune to mental? Well, that changes everything. Batten the hatches and hunker down, we need to prepare for the Somali storm  What exactly is the point of this post? is this supposed to illustrate the normal behaviour of Somalis? and the funny thing is that had he used a gun instead of an uncivilized machete, a lot of u guys would be less outraged. Would the OP also post stories involving descendant of Europeans going mad in the US and attacking people? SMDH

What a load of rubbish. I was about to tee off on this post when I saw the keyword in the sentence. There likely wouldn't be water shortage. Yes, my friends, even the market does not solve every problem it encounters on first try, sometimes it runs into some trouble and has to make adjustments before solving it. They even fail to deliver to their paying customers sometimes and when it comes to predicting natural forces like the weather, even an efficient free market industry can fail. I know what some of you are typing right now. Well, the market would have had the foresight to install an expensive desalination plant just for the occasion of the century like this. They would have saved up enough money to buy off the fisher men whose fishing waters would have been destroyed by the high salt content of the water around, they would have also bought off any tourist attraction or land around the area just for a year or 3 of the drought. Also plan to keep charging high cost for water even when the rain start failing again because you don't pay off a desalination plant from water bills u can earn in 3 good years. And you are a crazy statist if I catch u whining after finding out that some industry with insider knowledge (most likely) bought up the rights to the water table under u.

Another point I failed to address is this point that Trump has better intentions than those in "the Bolshevik and "minority" left, who has, in the past year or so, become completely unhinged and has stated, numerous times, that they want me, what I stand for, and my family dead.". Trump just like the past leaders want to drain you and your family, use your kids to fight the wars of the only people he truly cares about and we all know who I am talking about. He is not America first like he said in his campaign, the same people who controlled Obama are back in the white house running things. He may tinker around the edges to convince regular Americans that things are different but in reality, some may offer bottle way on the way but the destination is still that same.

Are you telling me that some people on the internet do not like the couple and would use any possible reason to criticize them? if yes, then that makes more sense that the idea that any significant number of people think 5 children is too much.

I think I understand some people being hopeful by having cautious optimism about the man but the history of the man with people, rhetoric and policies he has supported along with people he has appointed in his cabinet should tell you by now that he doesn't know what he is doing when it comes to the economy. This is a man that has supported universal healthcare, bailout, stimulus, said Obama was doing the right things after the got into office and also during the time Bush was cutting taxes and reducing regulations that the economy does well under democrats than republicans. My point is that the economy is going through what I call irrational exuberance (Alan Greenspan phrase) and this will change when reality sets in. The fundamentals of the economy hasn't changed, this is still the borrow and print, big spending govt we've had in the past. Remember, Bush also cut taxes(corporate and personal) and reduced regulations a bit and that did not prevent the housing bubble from bursting. The same sort of thing Trump is doing now. I believe this is Bush 2.0 and there will be a correction/ a down turn in the economy that would be blamed on him. I am not saying this because I get any pleasure in seeing the economy go bad, it's just that I have seen this story before and it did not end well. Its not just taxes but spending needs to be cut too and Trump admin going after the automatic cuts put in by the Sequester tells me that he is indeed clueless about the economy. He is clearly unwilling to make the hard decisions that needs to be made to heal this economy and just like the rest of the president will kick the can down the road.

Very true but my question is this. Would CA be an even better state if it had the ability to control its border more than it has the ability to do now. Imagine if it could deport unproductive citizens and non citizens to whatever shytehole they came from. Not sure if she wants to do that but imagine if she could and has the desire to do so. It would be the greatest state ever:)

Reading is fundamental. That must be why you posted an article that says nothing about rhetoric and in fact specifically talks about the newly enacted tax law from the govt as a reason for apple's action with the caption "Just the proper rhetoric can influence business decisions." The above statement is sourced from the OP article. Yes way, look it up :) Btw, can we really consider the ramblings of the leader of an armed murder gang just rhetoric? Its like calling Don Corleone suggestion to a movie producer to give his nephew the lead role just a suggestion.

I wonder the %age of those people living in poverty in CA are out of staters? I remember watching one of those late night MSNBC documentaries about the homeless people in CA and I was surprised to see that virtually all of them interviewed were transplants from other less prosperous states who failed in their attempt of making it in CA. They started using drugs, got comfortable with the welfare and got stuck there because even the shitty lives in CA was better than what they had back home. I seriously wonder if they would be in a better shape if they had a better border control along with other regulation and welfare reforms.

I think its all about rhetoric and feels not policies per say, some call it irrational exuberance but only time will tell who is right. Bookmarking this thread cos I would like to see how accurate these predictions about Trump's economic results is.

Affluent socialist nation? what the hell is that? I have always been told that what ever socialism and central planning touches turns to shyte. My problem with this whole debate especially on this site is that many people are being dishonest with comments. You would have on one part a poster who believes that govt and govt intervention is so bad that they would rather see a drunk driver driving on the public roads unmolested than call the cops to get them off and then in a different discussion that same anti govt person is calling on the govt to restrict immigration because in their plans for the economy and society believes that the country can no longer accommodate any more individual. Talk about one big statist and central planning ideology all rolled in one for a non statist believer

I disagree with that policy but that is way more reasonable than what AF was suggesting, a compromise I think most immigrant would agree with :). Personally, that has been my self administered restriction. 1st came to NY, then Omaha and have never moved to a city smaller than it.

Common people, you can find people on the internet criticizing just about anything about anyone. Now is there really any significant number of people/group criticizing a successful couple for having a very average 5 kids? answer is a no. 99.9% of the people on social media and 100% of regular people would not have heard of this so called backlash if this writer did not give the internet trolls the spotlight. This is what you get when there is nothing newsworthy in an industry that needs to make news 24 hrs a day. Also this gives people like Dannno a reason to make a racial mountain of a story out of a mole hill.

Talk that sass OG, talk that sass :) But seriously, thank God you are just a lowly peon and have no power whatsoever to do anything about immigration policy. Because going from one extreme to the another does nothing to improve the country. No immigration from any country because in assessment and infinite wisdom you think the country is full? Geeze louise

If the problem is people coming to the US because there are more opportunities to prosper than where they live, then not even that will fix the problem. The only fix for that is for the US to have less opportunity to prosper than where they are coming from and then people will stop coming.

I see blood on her forehead which could be a sign of some struggle. Maybe they tried and failed to dress her up. Maybe they were understaffed and couldn't babysit her until they find proper placement for her. Like I said, I am not giving anyone a medal for what happened. Btw, the family members who brought her in and/or neglected her should take the brunt of the blame for this story.

Capitalism a problem? as far as I am concerned, I see no problem. My post is addressing the people who think someone was wronged in this whole story, people so militant that they are going as far as calling for people to be fired. Also not saying anyone should get an award either. I would never chastise any business/business owner for not going above and beyond the call of duty.

If you think the world Ron Paul practiced in would ever exist in the US then you have no idea what you are talking about. He grew up when a man working one job he got after high school can easily raise a family. That world is never going to happen again unless the US plans on destroying the economies of Europe, Asia and become supreme king again. Yes capitalism would lover medical cost but it would never lower it to the point where people without money are able to take long free vacations in an acute health hospitals without getting kicked out. But go on, keep dreaming

Yes, when given a choice between country A with generous welfare program and country B with little welfare program. Most people will choose country A. it doesn't mean that they would turn back if no country had some welfare.

That is because in a more capitalist system people like her without money would never be able to step inside a hospital like that in the first place. It is sad how people on our side are quick to blame socialism for any perceived evil they see in the world. What do you say, the rain has been late this season, well it must be socialism's fault  I have seen patient abuse the hell out of the system in ways that would make any hospital owner sick. I know people without any insurance that come to the unit every other week, they get free medicine, free stay, loads of expensive medical test run on them and yet they pay nothing to the hospital. Sometimes when the docs put in the order to discharge, they refuse to leave. We would have social worker running about trying to get placement for these people and even then they sometimes refuse to leave. The truth is that her family or people close to her dumped her onto the hospital system and this is the hospital sending her back. This has very little to do with socialism, if socialism is to be blamed for anything, it is working to help her take advantage of the hospital.
