I hate to give Trump any advise cos I hate the man for fooling people I care for. But he can do his big military parade and in conjunction cancel the contracts of the US military with all sports leagues in the nation. The parade will be a massive entertainment attraction that would more than advertise the US military to every american family. Also, the money saved from canceling contracts would more than pay for the 1 day parade. Also it would be even better if he can find a way to incorporate the children into it. In Nigeria, they would have marching competitions in all public schools and the winning teams from each school comes to march in the states military square on children's day. The winning team from the state march gets to take a pic with the state's top military general and sometimes gets to ride in a helicopter. Every kid wanted to be the winner. He needs to add something like that to the agenda. Talk about snatching victory from the jaws of defeat. #:trophy:

Yea, I fell for it because everybody was reporting it and at the time I posted it, thought it was credible news. And to be even more honest with you, my hatred for Alex Jones and everything he is associated with made it that much easier to believe the story. But thanks for the correction. Well, the Feds still shutdown a liberty radio station that is not or ever was an infowar flagship station but instead a radio station that sometimes broadcast Alex Jones show. I have been waiting patiently for the day Alex Jones will reveal to the world that he was a FED agent.

And who said it was Alex Jone's fault? But I have to say its a little suspicious that he was able to get away with it for 3 yrs under Obama and was nabbed by Trump and his FCC crew in less than 18 months even though he is not even broadcasting. Just saying, its a little weird that Trump took him out.

Never claimed to be Mr. Knowitall anyway, just trying to have a discussion with my fellow liberty, free speech advocates around here. But back to the discussion, can u please answer the question. Is this what you are talking about when u said "Its right there in your own OP. Did you read your own article?" ?

Is this what u are talking about this? The way I understand it, the feds shutting you down and you stopping terrestrial broadcast ain't the same thing. But what do it know?

Alex Jones was shutdown by the feds 8 months ago and barely anyone made a pip about it? do u have any link or proof to show me this was the case? And why all the hoopla now that silicon valley banned AJ when the Washington did virtually the same thing months ago?

Its all a game and they want you to pick a side. The only way you win a rigged game is by refusing to participate in it. There are multiple source for this post so don't disregard the story because if the source I used.

The biggest and longest active LARP event is going on in our lifetime, the media, the political parties are playing it and the voters have no clue what is going on. How sad :( This is historical and if you are lucky enough to understand it, the entertainment value is limitless. Cancel your cable and streaming subscription cos the drama here is simply amazing

Do u have a graph showing that farmer went bust during lean years? I am sure that graph would help someone out on this forum . Jokes aside Don't remember farm aid, but I couldn't agree with the point about taking loans(loads or money) is not always a bad thing. Yes, it is a riskier path to follow than what your cousin did but that path failing because of govt positive intervention should piss ppl on this forum off.

Exactly, different kind of businesses operate differently, my guess u never ran the a business with slim profit margins and operated by borrowing money from banks. The problem I have is when u trying to insinuate that businesses using that type of funding are doing it wrong. The problem comes when govt affect their business with stupid laws. A statist once said the same about minimum wage hikes, he told me that businesses that cannot make it with a small hike in the minimum wage deserves to go out of business.

Source for the claim that heavily indebted people who are on the edge may go bankrupt when a govt via its intervention in the market causes a 17% drop in the product they are selling? If this what you are asking me, then I would need to start you off with a remedial econ 101 lesson. And I dunno if I have that much free time to devote to you.

Just because you've never done something means it is a bad idea. Taking out loads to buy equipment for a business is something many people do all the time. You talk like someone who has never run any business in your life.

O, how the mighty have fallen. Once upon a time, some of the big name posters on this forum used to have principles, never used to sound like statist but now Trump is in power, they have lost what's left of their minds. You continue to make this sort of posts, be rest assured that I will be waiting in the wings to call you out. Oh yea boys, I will be the small govt constable keeping an eagle eye out for statist mayhem and malfeasance in this forum. And I got my eye on you :eyes:

I didn't say all the farmers will go out of business, but farmers who borrowed a lot of money for equipment and are on the edge may go bankrupt from this govt intervention in the market. There is a reason some a calling for bailout for farmers.

I will not support Ron, Rand or anybody for that matter who does something I disagree with. So when Rand foolishly says that he wants to carve out a homeland for the Kurds in Syria, Iraq and Turkey, I will not in any way shape or form support that. In fact, I will come on here and voice my disagreement. This is unlike some people who will blindly support xxx politician no matter what they do. As for leaving this place, I was actually planning on leaving but knowing that I will be leaving it to the likes of u makes me want to stay back and counter your statist propaganda you and your kind spread on this forum daily. Its a dirty, unrewarding job, but someone has to do it.

Typical excuse statists use to deflect criticisms of small increases in taxes coming from our resident conservative. He is so principled and small govt advocate that he is opposed some thing as insignificant as reporting a known drunk driver to the police  Typical statist: You small govt people are so whinny that you think an increase of 0.05% in gas taxes is going to hurt the economy. And in a sarcastic voice "Oh the sky is falling, the sky is falling".

Are u really this daft? zippy was talking about poor farmers who are barely making it, he is asking you what about those poor farmers and you respond with this? My god, is there a depth deep enough that you people wouldn't go to defend your president? whenever I think "OK, they have done it, they have hit rock bottom, there is no point lower than this" and you come up with this stuff. There is TDS and there is this. One thing I will give you is that your loyalty to this president is knows no bounds

The prices are 14% lower for the consumers which I say must feel nice for anyone buying soy beans. That is because the demand for the soy beans have been affected by govt intervention.

Hallucinating again I see, for one democrats are the ones always pushing for rent control, price control, subsidies etc etc to artificially lower the financial burden on poor people. Secondly, nobody said anything about democrats? try and keep the discussion within the scope of the OP :). Most importantly, this post shows how low you are willing to go in order to defend a perceived attack on the president. Low prices are good for the consumers, free stuff are good for the consumers but lower prices coming about due to govt regulation and intervention(in this case tariffs) will only hurt consumers in the long run. For one, some of the farmers now losing thousands of dollars from this regulation (if bailout doesn't fall through) will lose their businesses. The other ones would make adjustment and plant less which in turn will result in fewer farm produce and a return to old prices. The whole economy would be poorer for this and may poor people will be worse off at the end. I don't care how much of a Donald Trump fan boy you are but if this story is true, there are no positive ways of spinning it. Anyone who finds a way to spin in a positive way govt price manipulation by increase in regulations and controls is no fan of the free market. This is why it stings so bad when statist supporters like yourself call me a communist.
