My problem is that, regardless of the verdict, Chauvin did not have a fair trial, which means that we shouldn't expect fair trials as well. It was the equivalent of throwing a man into a volcano to appease the gods. Greg Gutfeld's reaction on Fox News highlighted this point. This is unacceptable, regardless of whether Chauvin may have deserved this fate.
