I agree this differentiation must be made in good faith, and hate that people fail to -- however, 100 "enemies of the people" per day do that or similar on television.

Reparations are very simple. Just look at the history of civil courts and their precursors. Clearly human history has solved conflict through decisions made by various judicial processes that determine the amount of recompense. It just requires a trial - not a politician's opportunity to change the rules for political capital. "But there is systemic racism in the courts" I agree completely. That's why I work on that more than I work on reparations.

https://twitter.com/ScottAdamsSays/status/1629833636446081024 ^^ OK, so now I'm watching the video in this tweet, and what I wrote previously was a bit irresponsible. I would not write it the same now. I feel that way about hypnotists for sure. But the discussion starting after 15:00 comes across to me as far different than my presuppositions about Scott and this situation - I only saw a few headlines and tweets about it - so I'm not sure how much of my error was fake news bubble. Not to turn contrition into criticism, but he does clearly advertise himself as leftist and virtue signals his efforts to help Gavin Newsom on big government programs at the outset. Obviously that is a cherrypicking of true information communicated in the best positive light for the audience he is trying to... errr.... persuade. But that kind of draws me out of the picture doesn't it? I will watch him more -- interesting guy and Dilbert is essential. But with all this content to absorb, I try to focus on people who are attacking the very idea of left and right, and stand opposed to the idea that we are different 'groups' to categorize and understand, or that we need to play politician to be persuasive. * Astute observers will note that I wrote "I'll admit my comments are without due diligence" in the first post - and proceeded to bloviate that way. And this way.

I'll admit my comments are without due diligence as to Scott's typical style. I haven't listened to him in a long time, mostly because from what I did see in the past, I decided he is not only capable and willing to say things that are designed to change my mind without my knowing what he has done, but seems to enjoy being a person who tells people explicity that he can, and then to watch them while they still don't know or believe he's doing it. So I am skeptical. I do notice that it may help him get out of a contract and control his own properties, but if it is at the expense of racial tension, is it worth it? People all over the internet got riled up and I would imagine a few are righteously chestpuffing right now. I also notice that it clearly demonstrates hypocrisy (he may even have a recording of a black politician saying the same thing to a black church. if so, I also don't care about that free speech, rooted in ignorance as it may be.). Finally, if Scott is as manipulative and master-planny as you say, then the question would become whether his agenda actually aligns with what is good. Fixing a bad contract decision, or changing his mind about one, for instance (I know that's one example) would have more to do with his own personal agenda rather than some universal good.

LOL so true. The elite are a group of people interested in hall monitoring and laughing together about their subjects. Meanwhile everyone else just has somewhere to go.

Misinterprets data to come to a racially divisive (but intriguing and clickable!) conclusion. Sounds like he's trying out for new boss same as the old boss as television dies.

I disagree. This one goes directly to Hollywood yoga and probably seances. They don't want experimental drugs (not the ones chosen by pharma). I think he is saying what a lot of scared silent people want him to. Someone who is deemed to be intolerant is much easier to cancel, because everyone wants to act tolerant. But this is different.

They get to keep their sponsors while benefitting from clicks by calling it baseless conspiracy theories. However, they overvalue their clicks and illiterately project future outlay from them, so they will go out of business anyway. And it makes them liable in civil suits.

Yea you have to play around with it a lot to start to get it. It can add noise / randomness / fuzziness so that it gives different variations as answers each time you ask the same question. You can ask the question differently to get a different answer. So people are cherrypicking answers to be 'shocking.' That said, it is tuned by morons. It can easily be retuned. When it open sources, I bet we'll see it uses a dumb blacklist easily removed to reveal a revolutionary tool.
