We had a roundabout all decorated with lights and reindeer near me, homeless people that were sleeping in the roundabout allegedly took them. I guess they had trouble sleeping with it being all it up?

ETA - I thought this was the Rockefeller Center tree...still. Until now. I've been near NYC all my life and know it's political history fairly well. As far as I can recall, even at it's worst, 1975 Fort Apache, The Bronx type of bad, the NYC animals never burned down the goddamn Rockefeller Center Fox News Christmas tree. Some old timers from the area, did you ever see any shit like that?

I'm not "piling on" brother, you know that, but I did take the time to go and look who was sitting on the C-ville town council. Every single one is a leftist democrat, one of which, Payne, is an outright communist. Every single one, excepting Walker, are transplants from away. Every single one, also excepting Walker, are white, who are the very worst self loathing and doctrinaire of "anti racists". It was an ideological decision, without a doubt.

This guy cracks me up! Mike Rowe · Off the Wall Interesting response to yesterday’s meme, which has so far reached nearly 6 million people and generated over 11,000 comments. If you want to understand just how determined people are to find what they’re looking for everywhere they look, peruse the comments. Some are angry because they saw the post as “anti-vax.” Others saw it as blatantly political. Others are angry because the resolution was crappy. (That one, I understand.) And of course, some people thought it was in bad taste, or insensitive, or just plain old not funny. Because I value all of the engagement on this page, sincerely, and because I’m about to spend another six hours in the air, hidden behind my Safety Third mask, I thought I’d pass the time responding to The Disappointed. Here then, is a small sampling, in no particular order.

Down to the 30's tonight. Then a warming trend. Saturday is the annual Cat Square Christmas Parade. Will be warm, 67, but guaranteed wet. I've gone to the parade for a a decade. Been there when it was nice with several dozens of friends. We have the use of a corn field along the route and set up and potluck. Weather doesn't stop me but does cut the numbers. One year it was just myself, Beth, and 6 others in the driving sleet. As I remember only the Fire Departments made it out for the parade. Shriners took the day off. But, even with the rain it will be warm and a friend is getting married there this year. The fool. I will sing his eulogy.

I've lived and worked on C'ville. It absolutely IS an ideological decision. As you say it may be based on votes and campaign contributions but that in itself is based in ideology. There were any number of Historical sites that expressed interest in obtaining the statues. The statue wasn't sold. It was GIVEN. If it was GIVEN than shouldn't the logical choice be to GIVE it to an Historical Museum? If not then there was absolutely ideological choice in the gift.

No kidding... On the subject of the city council, I gotta agree with Phill on this one. I'm certain that they came to that decision on ideological grounds. They'd give the thing away to the Marxist activist group, before they would sell it for real money to the "Museum of the South" or something like that. They planned to destroy that statue from the very beginning, because of what, in their mind, it represents.

Exactly. That's why Lenin called them "useful idiots". But if the Marxists are successful, these people will be first in line for the GULAG or the firing squad.

^^^THIS^^^ Not all battles or wars are fought with bullets. Some are fought by controlling minds. The Progressives keep winning these battles and eventually it will win them the war.

It's not "silly". There is a very powerful, well thought out, long term and very effective and so far almost totally successful war being waged by the Marxist left that this is just a small skirmish of. Of course, this skirmish ended in a rout and full retreat as it almost always does for "our" side. But this is not just a bunch of silly, pointy headed intellectuals being silly with some power they acquired by accident. This is part of a cold, steely, deadly plan.

Racist city council members voted 4-0 to GIVE it to to the local Jefferson School African American Heritage Center. They could just have easily given it to any number of Civil War museums or battlefields. This was nothing more than a "Let's hate on whitey" move.

The same thing that happened when "We just want to get married and live our lives in private" morphed into, "I'm a convicted child molester who is dressing up as a drag queen and letting your 8 year old boy dry hump my leg in his school library, in front of a cheering audience of fellow deviants and if you say anything against it, I'm calling the cops and having you arrested for hate crimes, you cisgender white devil".

It's an interesting development and there is no telling where it may lead. I don't think Russia will bite. If it does it may have too much to chew on. It won't be about just Russia and the Ukraine.

So, this administration is willing to send American blood and American treasure to protect the border of Ukraine against invasion. But will not lift a finger to stop, and in fact facilitates and encourages, the ongoing invasion of the United States across it's border, in direct and open defiance of the constitution's stated duty and the oath of office. America Last.

Hire a Paki or Indian to scrape the internet for listings. Or you can sometimes do it manually. For example, if you're selling to manufacturers, go to Thomas Register.
