I doubt everything Mr Yang would happen, anymore if a Libertarian was elected, no candidate will get what they want done, it will be a compromise.

What are you stating, that a local school near where I live shouldn't be funded by the government? There are at least may be three in my area.

Whether he could be nominated isn't really that much of a concern, but he's certainly on to a problem society is facing. The seas are full of plastic, the future is difficult for everything, and everyone.

I think Mr Yang may not have all the answers, but he's at least looking to the future. Otherwise what do you think he's up to?

I'll state it again, liberty is for the few wackos who are living in la la land. It is a pipe dream, like a lot of political beliefs that don't become mainstream. I didn't see the self service checkout arrive, I honestly didn't, and I thought I was up with the tech. The personal computer has changed quickly in the past eight years, net cafe's aren't as popular or really not used much, mainly by immigrants or nationals who lose temporary access from home, some certainly closed. Now sure, the net cafe is a recent business. In the manufacturing sector, that has changed, some ship yards, in Europe are now trying out vehicles without drivers for moving containers. Computer programmed.

That is precisely the Libertarian view. I think the Liberty crowd are like some in Venezuela who believe a government can just extract from their land, without maintaining the cost, so Maduro and his military ruined the economy with their one sided view. Libertarianism is like the Communist belief. You can't have it one way. Ron Paul never compromised, and didn't achieve any liberty. But it doesn't exist, anymore than Maduro wanting to maintain an economy without some private entities for services. I don't know, how that guy can sell his country to the loan sharks. I always thought chavez was bad news.

The critics of the closure said it required more time, another two years or something. No, there are so many on here who burying their heads in the sand, sort of like Mr Paul, with his outlook on society, that was why nobody believed he could be head of state. What I didn't realise about him, when I was younger was the programs that kept me alive, he was against, and he was just a selfish person. Sure he may of cared as a doctor to help, but just charity doesn't help anyone. I know the communist/socialist system doesn't work well, but neither does unfettered capitalism. Liberty isn't real, government makes the world go around, then the private companies using freedom innovate and create. As for three centuries ago, you can't compare 1718 with our time in 2018, the societies were different, as there wasn't any fossil fuels to take away the workers from the farms, so the workers became the new Middle Class a century ago, so therefore everybody wanted to move to the city where there was the modern economy. Machines didn't exist at the time, not like fifty years ago, that is the problem. Nobody here seems to see that.

Education is important, but many will leave school as underachievers, myself an example, a private education system won't solve that. Private schools serve for the privileged few. Like stating that everybody should attend Oxfordshire county's university, Oxford. State education is the only solution to give a broad education, the alternatives aren't going to compete.

That won't really work, it'll mean that education will be different in many other schools, so the competition is going to be up and down, so many students are going to lose out.

It is sad and stupid this whole family bull crap, he's useless now. Can't do anything, he's family didn't do enough for him. Wrong treatment. The least he could of done was do some of the shopping. I live with family, and I'm a year younger.

This is rubbish, private schools. So I guess the parents pay up front them, or will a sales tax cover this?

Nice to know somebody else here at least will listen to the state orientated candidate. I know this place doesn't believe in that.

No. The warrior Mr Washington made it so it no longer would be. Seriously, I don't get some of the mad postings on the forum, I am not surprised why a liberty candidate doesn't get elected, freedom to the hilt is madness, just like taking away too much, like in other countries.

Not one user could be interested to take any interest in this would be candidate? Okay he's a democrat, but get real, like liberty is going to save the future. If anything it created a possible future of overall change, so much for that, I guess we should of lived in a soviet system, at least employment was guaranteed without machines. Fifty years ago, companies in the UK began implementing machines, at first in the first decade it didn't do too much damage, but as time went along it did, but that is the capitalist system, keep growing, and changing. I know this candidate may be a bit nutty, and living in the clouds, but I think he at least is interesting enough to bring this up instead of the same old candidates.
